Titus 3

1 Bika wutebula batu boso moyo ti bafueti ba bulemvo kuidi minyadi ayi bapfumu. Bosi bafueti ba tumamana ayi bafueti ba bakubama mu vanganga mavanga mamboti.

Remind people that they must submit to the rulers who are in authority over them; that they must obey the magistrates, be prepared for every right action,

2 Babika finganga kadi mutu wumosi, baba batu ba ndembama ayi batu ba luzitu ayi baba batu bammonisanga nlembami kuidi batu boso.

not speak evil of any one, nor be contentious, but yield unselfishly to others and constantly manifest a forgiving spirit towards all men.

3 Bila beto mamveto tutuama ba bivungisi ayi tusia ba bulemvo ko, tuba bazimbala, tuba bavika ba zinzinunu zi phila mu phila ayi zikhini zi phila mu phila; tuba zingilanga mu luvunu ayi mu kikhenene, batulendaayi mamveto tulendasana beto na beto.

For there was a time when we also were deficient in understanding, obstinate, deluded, the slaves of various cravings and pleasures, spending our lives in malice and envy, hateful ourselves and hating one another.

4 Vayi mamboti ma Nzambi, Mvulusi eto, ayi luzolo luandi mu diambu di batu bu bimonika,

But when the goodness of God our Saviour, and His love to man, dawned upon us, not in consequence of things which we,

5 buna niandi wutuvukisa. Bika sia ti mu diambu di mavanga ma busonga momo tuvanga vayi mu diambu di kiadi kiandi; bu katusukudila mu nlangu, mu mbutukulu yimona, mu kutukitula bamona mu lusadusu lu Pheve Yinlongo.

as righteous men, had done, but as the result of His own mercy He saved us by means of the bath of regeneration and the renewal of our natures by the Holy Spirit,

6 Niandi wutudukudila Pheve Yinlongo beni mu buwoka mu lusadusu lu Yesu Klisto Mvulusiꞌeto,

which He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

7 mu diambu di bu tukitulu basonga mu nlemvo andi muingi tukitukabatu bela vinginina kiuka boso buididi diana di luzingu lu kalumani. (aiōnios g166)

in order that having been declared righteous through His grace we might become heirs to the Life of the Ages in fulfilment of our hopes. (aiōnios g166)

8 Mambu momo madi makuikama ayi thidi ti wumalongila mu bufula muingi bobo bawilukila Nzambi bakiyekula mu ba batheti mu vanganga mamboti. Mambu mama madi mamboti ayi ma mfunu kuidi batu.

This is a faithful saying, and on these various points I would have you insist strenuously, in order that those who have their faith fixed on God may be careful to set an example of good actions. For these are not only good in themselves, but are also useful to mankind.

9 Vayi tinanga biuvu bi buvungisi, mambu ma kikhulu, minzonza ayi ziphakamu diambu di Mina bila masi mfunu ko ayi mambu moso momo madi ma phamba.

But hold yourself aloof from foolish controversies and pedigrees and discussions and wrangling about the Law, for they are useless and vain.

10 Vayi kuidi mutu wulembo totula khabunu, ngeyo kunlubula mu khumbuyitheti ayi yimmuadi. Buna kadi buela ba yandi kithuadi.

After a first and second admonition, have nothing further to do with any one who will not be taught;

11 Bila zaba ti mutu wuphila yoyi wuzimbala ayi wumvolanga masumu; ayi wukukibedisanga niandi veka.

for, as you know, a man of that description has turned aside from the right path and is a sinner self-condemned.

12 Mu thangu ndiela kufidisila Alitemasi voti Tishike buna vika mu kuiza kuidi minu ku Nikopolisi bila ndibeki lukanu lu viokisila kuaku tsungi yi kiozi kingolo.

After I have sent Artemas or Tychicus to you, lose no time in joining me at Nicopolis; for I have decided to pass the winter there.

13 Tomba busila mu sadisa bumboti zuzi Zenasi mu nzietolo andi ayi Apolo muingi babika kambu kadi kima.

Help Zenas the lawyer forward on his journey with special care, and Apollos, so that they may have all they require.

14 Bufueni batu beto veka balonguka mu ba batheti mu vangangamavanga mamboti mu diambu di mambu ma mfunu muingi bedi kambu mimbutu.

And let our people too learn to set a good example in following honest occupations for the supply of their necessities, so that they may not live useless lives.

15 Baboso badi yama kuaku bafidisidi mboti. Vana mboti kuidi batu bobo beti kutuzola mu minu. Bika nlemvo wubanga yeno beno boso.
