< Romans 6 >

1 A diambu mbi tutuba e? Tutatamana volanga kueto masumu muingi nlemvo wuwoka e?
What then shall we say? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may increase?
2 Nana! Sumbu beto tuidi tufua mu masumu, buna buevi tulenda buela zingila diaka mu masumu e?
Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer?
3 A buevi, lukadi zaba ti beto boso bobo tubotama mu Yesu Klisto, tubotama mu diambu di lufua luandi e?
Or aren’t you aware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
4 Tuziku va kimosi ayi niandi mu mbotokolo yi tubotama mu diambu di lufua muingi banga bu fulukila Klisto mu bafua mu nzila yi nkembo wu Tata, beto mamveto tuzinga luzingu lumona.
We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life.
5 Bila enati tufubakana ayi niandi mu lufua luandi buna tuela fubakana ayi niandi mu mfulukulu andi.
For if we have been united with Him like this in His death, we will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection.
6 Bu tuzebi ti kimutu kieto kikhulu kibandu va kimosi ayi niandi va dikulusi muingi nitu yi masumu yi biva mu diambu tubika buela ba bavika ba masumu.
We know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.
7 Bila mutu wowo wufua, wukulu mu masumu.
For anyone who has died has been freed from sin.
8 Muaki enati tufua va kimosi ayi Klisto, buna tunwilukila ti tuela zinga va kimosi ayi niandi.
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him.
9 Bu tuzebi ti Yesu wufuluka mu bafua, kalendi buela fua ko. Lufua lusiedi diaka lulendo mu niandi ko.
For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has dominion over Him.
10 Bila wufua vayi wufua mfua yimosi mu diambu di masumu ayi bu kalembo zingi, wulembo zingi mu diambu di Nzambi.
The death He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life He lives, He lives to God.
11 Diawu beno mamveno lukimonanga beno veka banga beno lumana fua mu diambu di masumu ayi lulembo zingi mu diambu di Nzambi mu Yesu Klisto.
So you too must count yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
12 Diawu bika masumu mabika buela yadila zinitu zieno ziozizimfuanga muingi lubika buela tumimina zitsatu ziandi zimbimbi.
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires.
13 Lubika tambika binama bieno ku tsi luyalu lu masumu banga bisadulu bi mambu mambimbi. Vayi bika lukitambika beno veka kuidi Nzambi banga batu bafuluka mu bafua mu diambu di luzingu ayi lutambika binama bieno kuidi Nzambi banga bisadulu bi mambu masonga.
Do not present the parts of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and present the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness.
14 Bila masumu malendi buela ku luyadila ko bu lusiedi ko ku tsi luyalu lu Mina vayi lueka ku tsi luyalu lu nlemvo.
For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.
15 Buna buevi e? Tutatamana kueto volanga masumu bu didi ti tusiedi ku tsi luyalu lu Mina ko vayi ku tsi luyalu lu nlemvo e? Nana!
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law, but under grace? Certainly not!
16 Lukadi zaba ti bu lukiyekudi banga bavika kuidi mutu mu diambu di kuntumimina buna lueka bavika ba mutu wowo lulembo tumimina; mananga luidi bavika ba masumu mannatanga ku lufua voti mananga luidi bavika ba tumamana kunnatanga ku luzingu lu busonga e?
Do you not know that when you offer yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves to the one you obey, whether you are slaves to sin leading to death, or to obedience leading to righteousness?
17 Vayi matondo kuidi Nzambi bila bu luba bavika ba masumu lutumukina mu mintima mieno malongi ma lulongo.
But thanks be to God that, though you once were slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were committed.
18 Bu lumana kulu mu masumu, luyika bavika ba busonga.
You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
19 Mu kimutu ndilembo tubila mu diambu di lebakana kueno ku nitu. Bila banga bu luyekula binama bieno mu kivika ki tsumukunu ayi ki mambu mambimbi mu diambu di vanganga mambu mambimbi, buawu bobo luyekudila buabu binama bieno banga bavika mu busonga mu diambu di vanga mambu manlongo.
I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to escalating wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness.
20 Bila bu luba bavika ba masumu, lusia ba ku tsi luyalu lu busonga ko.
For when you were slaves to sin, you were free of obligation to righteousness.
21 Buna mimbutu mbi lumbuta mu mambu momo lulembo fuila buabu tsoni e? Bila tsukulu yi mambu beni lufua.
What fruit did you reap at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? The outcome of those things is death.
22 Vayi buabu bu lukululu mu masumu ayi luyikidi bavika ba Nzambi, buna mbutu lumbuta wawu wawu: luzingu lunlongo ayi ku tsuka luzingu lukalumani. (aiōnios g166)
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the fruit you reap leads to holiness, and the outcome is eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
23 Bila lufua luawu mfutu wu masumu vayi luzingu lukalumani luawu dikaba di nlemvo, di Nzambi mu kithuadi ki Klisto Yesu, Pfumu eto. (aiōnios g166)
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
