< Romans 5 >
1 Sumbu tukitulu batu basonga mu nzila yi minu, buna tuidi mu ndembama ayi Nzambi mu diambu di Pfumuꞌeto Yesu Klisto.
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 Mu diambu diandi, mu nzila yi minu, tubakidi diluaku di kotila mu nlemvo wu Nzambi; mu wawu tuididi batelama. Tulembo moni khini bu lulembo fubakana mu nkembo wu Nzambi.
through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
3 Bika sia ti momo kaka, vayi tueti kukiniemisa mu ziphasi bila ziphasi ziawu zieti buta mvibudulu;
Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
4 mvibudulu weti buta kimutu kifuana; kimutu kifuana kieti buta diana.
perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5 Ayi diana dilendi fuisu tsoni ko bila Pheve Yinlongo, yoyibatuvana, wudukula luzolo lu Nzambi mu mintima mieto.
And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.
6 Bila buna tukidi batu balebakana, mu thangu yifuana, Klisto wufua mu diambu di bankua masumu.
For at just the right time, while we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
7 Phasi mu mona mutu wumfuila mu diambu di mutu wusonga vayi mananga vadi mutu wulenda kikinina fuila mu diambu di mutu wumboti.
Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.
8 Vayi Nzambi wumonisina luzolo luandi kuidi beto: buna tukidi bankua masumu, Klisto wufua mu diambu dieto.
But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Diawu sumbu buabu tukitulu basonga mu menga mandi buna keti wela kutuvukisa mu zinganzi zi Nzambi.
Therefore, since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from wrath through Him!
10 Bila enati bu tuba bambeni zi Nzambi, vayi wuvutula nguizani niandi ayi beto mu lufua lu Muanꞌandi. Vayi buabu sumbu nguizani yi vutuka keti wela kutuvukisa mu luzingu lu muanꞌandi.
For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!
11 Bika sia ti momo kaka vayi tulembo kiniemisa mu Nzambi mu diambu di Pfumu eto Yesu Klisto, mu niandi muvutukididi nguizani ayi Nzambi.
Not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
12 Diawu, sumbu mu mutu wumosi muyizila masumu va nza, ayi lufua luyizila mu masumu, diawu lufua lukotila mu batu boso bila batu boso bavola masumu.
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death was passed on to all men, because all sinned.
13 Masumu maba va nza tuamina Mina. Vayi vakambulu Mina valendi tangulu masumu ko.
For sin was in the world before the law was given; but sin is not taken into account when there is no law.
14 Muaki lufua luyala tona Adami nate mu thangu Moyize ayi nate mu batu bobo bakambu vola masumu banga Adami, mfikula yi mutu wowo wufueti kuiza.
Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who did not sin in the way that Adam transgressed. He is a pattern of the One to come.
15 Vayi nzimbala yi Adami yisi dedakana ko mu luvalu ayi dikaba di Nzambi. Bila enati batu bawombo bafua mu diambu di nzimbala yi mutu wumosi, vayi nlemvo wu Nzambi ayi dikaba di Nzambi biluta woka muidi batu bawombo mu diambu di nlemvo wu mutu wumosi. Yesu Klisto niandi mutu beni.
But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many!
16 Kisalu ki dikaba di Nzambi luviakunu kidi ayi kisalu ki disumu di mutu wumosi. Thumbudulu yitotukila mu diambu di disumu di mutu wumosi yinata mbedoso vayi dikaba divanu, mu diambu di zinzimbala zi batu bawombo, dinata ndungusulu.
Again, the gift is not like the result of the one man’s sin: The judgment that followed one sin brought condemnation, but the gift that followed many trespasses brought justification.
17 Bila enati mu diambu di nzimbala yi mutu wumosi, lufua luyala mu diambu di mutu wowo, buna keti batu bobo balembo tambula woka ki nlemvo wu Nzambi ayi dikaba di busonga buandi bela yadila mu luzingu mu diambu di Yesu Klisto.
For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive an abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
18 Nzimbala yi mutu wumosi yinata mbedoso yi batu boso; bobuawu mavanga masonga ma mutu wumosi makula batu boso mu thumbudulu ayi malembo bazingisa.
So then, just as one trespass brought condemnation for all men, so also one act of righteousness brought justification and life for all men.
19 Bobuawu mu diambu di kambu kutumama ku mutu wumosi; batu bawombo bakituka bankua masumu. Buawu bobo mu diambu di tumamana ku mutu wumosi batu bawombo bela kitulu batu basonga.
For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
20 Mina mitotuka mu diambu di nzimbala yiwokila. Vayi voso vawokidi masumu, vawu valutidi woka nlemvo;
The law came in so that the trespass would increase; but where sin increased, grace increased all the more,
21 muingi sumbu masumu mayadila mu diambu di lufua, buawu nlemvo wunyadila mu nzila yi busonga mu diambu di luzingu lukalumani mu nzila yi Yesu Klisto, Pfumu eto. (aiōnios )
so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
