< Romans 11 >

1 Diawu minu thubidi ti: A buevi, Nzambi wulozidi batu bandi e? Buawu ko. Bila minu veka ndidi muisi Iseli, mu nkuna Abalahami; mu dikanda di Benzami.
I ask then, did God reject His people? Certainly not! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.
2 Nzambi kasia loza ko batu bandi; bobo kazaba tona thama. Lusi zaba ko mambu masonoko mantuba mu diambu di Eli, buevi kafundila Iseli kuidi Nzambi bu katuba:
God did not reject His people, whom He foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says about Elijah, how he appealed to God against Israel:
3 Pfumu, bameni vonda mimbikudi miaku ayi bameni tulula mintalamiaku. Minu veka ndisiedi, vayi balembo tombi kuphonda.
“Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars. I am the only one left, and they are seeking my life as well”?
4 Vayi buevi bubela mvutu wu Nzambi e? Ndisueka tsambudi mili yi batu mu diambu diama; bobo basia fukimina Bali ko.
And what was the divine reply to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”
5 Buawu kuandi buididi, mu thangu yayi, vadi ndambu yi batu basiedi boso buididi tsobodolo yi nlemvo wu Nzambi.
In the same way, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.
6 Enati mu nlemvo, buna yisiedi diaka mu mavanga ko. Bila enati buawu bobo buna nlemvo wusiedi nlemvo ko.
And if it is by grace, then it is no longer by works. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace.
7 Buna buevi e? Iseli kasia tambula ko mambu momo kaba tomba vayi bobo basobolo batambula mawu. Vayi bankaka bakitulu mintima mi matadi
What then? What Israel was seeking, it failed to obtain, but the elect did. The others were hardened,
8 banga bu disonimina: Nzambi wuba vana Pheve yi tulu, wuba vana meso muingi babika mona; wuba vana matu muingi babika wa, nate lumbu kiaki!
as it is written: “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see, and ears that could not hear, to this very day.”
9 Davidi wutuba: Bika minyengo miawu mikituka mu diambu diawu dikondi, ntambu ayi diluaku di balenda buila ayi thumbudulu awu.
And David says: “May their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution to them.
10 Bika meso mawu maba mu tombi muingi mabika mona; bika mingongo miawu miba mikomvama mu zithangu zioso.
May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent forever.”
11 Minu thubidi: babumina thutu muingi babua e? Nana! Mu mbuilu awu muawu Bapakanu batambudila phulusu muingi Bayuda babasila kiphala.
I ask then, did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Certainly not! However, because of their trespass, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel jealous.
12 Vayi enati mbuilu awu yidi kimvuama ki nza ayi enati dekuka kuawu kuidi kimvuama ki Bapakanu, buna buevi buela bela kimvuama mu thangu Bayuda boso bela balula mavanga e?
But if their trespass means riches for the world, and their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their fullness bring!
13 Bila kuidi beno Bapakanu ndintuba bu ndidi mvuala wu Bapakanu; ndieti niemisa kisalu kiama
I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry
14 bila enati baka bubela, totula kiphala kuidi bibutu biama ayi vukisa bankaka mu bawu.
in the hope that I may provoke my own people to jealousy and save some of them.
15 Bila enati ndozolo awu yidi mu diambu di vutula nguizani ayi nza buna buevi buela bela bu bela kuba tambula e? Buna keti yela ba banga mfulukulu mu bafua.
For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
16 Bila enati bitini bitheti bidi binlongo, buna kuku kimvimba kidi kinlongo. Enati muanzi widi wunlongo buna matafi madi manlongo.
If the first part of the dough is holy, so is the whole batch; if the root is holy, so are the branches.
17 Vayi enati ndambu yi matafi mankaka mazengo ayi ngeyo wubaditafi di nti wu olive wukambu kunu, wuyiza kuiku va buangu ki matafi mazengo; wuyikidi kithuadi ayi bawu mu bakanga maka mantotukila mu muanzi wu nti wu olive wukunu
Now if some branches have been broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others to share in the nourishment of the olive root,
18 buna bika kukiniemisa mu diambu di matafi. Enati wulenda kukiniemisa, buna bika sia ngeyo wunnatanga mianzi vayi muanzi wawu weti kunatanga.
do not boast over those branches. If you do, remember this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.
19 Ngeyo wulenda tuba: A keti matafi mazengo mu diambu minu ndikuiku.
You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.”
20 Bumboti kuandi. Mawu mazengolo mu diambu di kambu ku minu vayi ngeyo widi wutelama mu minu. Bika kukiniemisa vayi mona tsisi.
That is correct: They were broken off because of unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid.
21 Bila enati Nzambi kasia mona kiadi ko matafi momo madi khatika matafi ma nti, buna ngeyo kalendi kumona kiadi ko.
For if God did not spare the natural branches, He will certainly not spare you either.
22 Tala buididi mamboti ayi nganzi yi Nzambi. Nganzi kuidi bawu babua, mamboti kuidi ngeyo; enati wunzingila kaka mu mamboti momo. Bila enati buawu ko buna ngeyo mamvaku wela zengo.
Take notice, therefore, of the kindness and severity of God: severity to those who fell, but kindness to you, if you continue in His kindness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
23 Ayi bawu mamvawu, enati bakadi zingila mu kambu kuawu ku minu, buna bela kuiku. Bila Nzambi beki lulendo lu kuba kuikila diaka.
And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
24 Bila enati ngeyo wuba wuzengo mu nti wu olive wukambu kunu wowo wumena wawu veka ayi wuyiza kuiku mu nti wu olive wukunu, buna keti matafi momo matotukila mu nti wowo wu olive mela kuiku mu nti beni e?
For if you were cut from a wild olive tree, and contrary to nature were grafted into one that is cultivated, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!
25 A bakhomba, thidi luzaba disuekama diadi muingi luedi kukimonanga banga batu badiela. Muaki ndambu yi Iseli bawilukilanga ko. Kambu kuawu ku minu kuela zingila nate Bapakanu boso bela kuiza kuidi Nzambi.
I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not be conceited: A hardening in part has come to Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.
26 Buna bosi Iseli dioso diela vuka. Banga bu masonimina ti: Nkudi wela totukila ku Sioni, niandi wela katula kambu ku tumamana koso mu Yakobi
And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come from Zion; He will remove godlessness from Jacob.
27 Tala buela bela Nguizani ama ayi bawu: Ndiela lemvukila masumu mawu.
And this is My covenant with them when I take away their sins.”
28 Mu matedi Nsamu Wumboti, bawu badi bambeni mu diambu dieno vayi mu matedi tsobodolo bawu badi bakiluzolo mu diambu di bakulu.
Regarding the gospel, they are enemies on your account; but regarding election, they are loved on account of the patriarchs.
29 Bila makaba ma nlemvo ayi lutelo lu Nzambi bilendi balulu ko.
For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable.
30 Mu thama, beno mamveno lusia tumukina Nzambi ko vayi buabu balumueni kiadi mu diambu di kambu ku tumama ku batu baba.
Just as you who formerly disobeyed God have now received mercy through their disobedience,
31 Bobuawu, enati kambu kuawu ku tumamana buabu kulunatini kiadi buna diodi didi mu diambu mamvawu bamono kiadi.
so they too have now disobeyed, in order that they too may now receive mercy through the mercy shown to you.
32 Bila Nzambi wukanga batu boso, mu diambu di kambu ku tumamana muingi kamona batu boso kiadi. (eleēsē g1653)
For God has consigned everyone to disobedience so that He may have mercy on everyone. (eleēsē g1653)
33 A nga phila thipula yidi mu kimvuama, mu nzayilu ayi mu nduenga bi Nzambi! Zinzengolo ziandi zilendi fiongonono ko ayi zinzila ziandi zilendi bakulu ko.
O, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and untraceable His ways!
34 Bila: A buna nani wuzaba mayindu ma Pfumu e? Voti nani wuba kumvananga zindongi e?
“Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor?”
35 Voti nani wutuama kumvana makaba muingi niandi kamvutudila ku nzimunina e?
“Who has first given to God, that God should repay him?”
36 Bila kuidi niandi, mu niandi ayi mu diambu diandi, bima bioso bididi. Bika nkembo wubanga yandi mu zithangu zioso. Amen. (aiōn g165)
For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen. (aiōn g165)
