< Revelation 18 >
1 Mambu momo bu mavioka, buna ndimona mbasi yinkaka yiba ku diyilu; yiba ayi lulendo lunneni. Nkembo andi wukienzula ntoto.
After these things I saw another angel coming down from Heaven, armed with great power. The earth shone with his splendor,
2 Mbasi beni yiyamikina mu mbembo yingolo: Babiloni dinneni dibuidi, dibuidi. Dikitukidi nzo yi ziphevi zimbimbi; suamunu ki yoso-yoso pheve yi sumuka; suamunu ki yoso-yoso nuni yi sumuka ayi yilendo.
and with a mighty voice he cried out, saying, "Great Babylon has fallen, has fallen, and has become a home for demons and a stronghold for every kind of foul spirit and for every kind of foul and hateful bird.
3 Bila makanda moso ma nuini vinu ki nganzi ki kitsuza kiandi. Mintinu mi ntoto va kimosi ayi niandi mikiyekula mu kitsuza ayi minkiti mi ntoto mikitukidi zimvuama zingolo mu diambu di lulendo lu kimvuama kandi ki viatuka tezo.
For all the nations have drunk the wine of the anger provoked by her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown rich through her excessive luxury."
4 Buna ndiwa mbembo yinkaka yitotukila ku diyilu, yiwakana: —A batu bama, bika lubotuka va khatitsikꞌandi muingi lubika fubakana mu masumu mandi ayi lubika builu bivuku biandi.
Then I heard another voice from Heaven, which said, "Come out of her, My people, that you may not become partakers in her sins, nor receive a share of her plagues.
5 Bila masumu mandi mayilimini, matudidi nate ku diyilu ayi Nzambi wutebukidi mambimbi mandi moyo.
For her sins are piled up to the sky, and God has called to mind her unrighteous deeds.
6 Bika lumvangila boso kaluvangila ayi lumvangila mu zikhumbu zizole mambu momo lufueti kumvangila, boso buididi mavanga mandi. Mu mbungu yoyi kasobikisa, bika lunsobikisa tsobikisa zizole.
Give back to her as she has given; repay her in accordance with her doings, twice as much; in the bowl that she has mixed, mix twice as much for her.
7 Boso bu kabela mu nkembo ayi boso bu kabela mu zikhini, buna buawu bobo lunyamisina ayi lummonisa kiadi ki lufua. Bila niandi wubedi tubanga mu ntimꞌandi: “Minu mvuendi banga ntinu wu nketo; ndisi difuola ko ayi ndilendi ba mu kiadi ki lufua ko.”
She has freely glorified herself and revelled in luxury; equally freely administer torment to her, and woe. For in her heart she boasts, saying, 'I sit enthroned as Queen: no widow am I: I shall never know sorrow.'
8 Diawu diodi, bivuku biandi biela kuizila mu lumbu kimosi: lufua, kiadi ki lufua ayi kanda ki nzala. Wela yoko ku mbazu bila Pfumu Nzambi, wuzenga buawu, beki zingolo zivangila buawu.
"For this reason calamities shall come thick upon her on a single day--death and sorrow and famine--and she shall be burned to the ground. For strong is the Lord God who has judged her.
9 Buna mintinu mintoto, miomi mivanga kitsuza ayi niandi ayi mizingila muzikhini va kimosi ayi niandi, miela dila ayi miela nionga mu diambu diandibu miela mona muisi wu mbazu andi.
The kings of the earth who have committed fornication with her, and have revelled in luxury, shall weep aloud and lament over her when they see the smoke of her burning,
10 Thama miela telimina mu diambu di tsisi yi mayama mandi ayi mielatuba: “Mabienga, mabienga kuidi divula dinneni; Babiloni divuladingolo! Bila nzengolo andi yizidi mu thangu yimosi kaka.”
while they stand afar off because of their terror at her heavy punishment, and say, 'Alas, alas, thou great city, O Babylon, the mighty city! For in one short hour thy doom has come!'
11 Minkiti mi ntoto, mamvawu, milembo didi ayi midi mu kiadi mu diambu diandi bila kadi mutu kakadi buela sumba bima biawu:
And the merchants of the earth weep aloud and lament over her, because now there is no sale for their cargoes--
12 bima bi nolo, bi palata; bi matadi ma thalu; bi bilunga; bi minledi miawu mi lino yidi dio veyi-veyi; mi mbuaki yi fufulu; mi nlezama; mi mbuaki; minti mioso mi tsudi ayi bima bioso bivangulu mu meno ma nzawu; bima bioso bavangulu mu minti mi thalu; mu bitsongo; mu bisengo ayi mu matadi meti lezama momo beti tedila “malibele”;
cargoes of gold and silver, of jewels and pearls, of fine linen, purple and silk, and of scarlet stuff; all kinds of rare woods, and all kinds of goods in ivory and in very costly wood, in bronze, steel and marble.
13 sinamoni ayi mafuta ma thalu, malasi, ansa ayi mile, vinu ayi mafuta; falina ayi foloma; mamemi ayi zingombi; ziphunda ayi zisalio; bavika ayi miela mi batu.
Also cinnamon and amomum; odors to burn as incense or for perfume; frankincense, wine, oil; fine flour, wheat, cattle and sheep; horses and carriages and slaves; and the lives of men.
14 —Mambu momo muelꞌaku wubedi zolanga matatukidi thama ayi bima bioso bi kitoko ayi bi nlezama bizimbidi mu diambu diaku ayi bilendi buela monika ko.
The dainties that thy soul longed for are gone from thee, and all thine elegance and splendor have perished, and never again shall they be found.
15 Minkiti mi bima biobi, miomi mikituka zimvuama mu diambu diandi, thama miela telimina mu diambu di tsisi yi mayama mandi; miela dila ayi miela mona kiadi. Miela tuba:
Those who traded in these things, who grew wealthy through her, will stand afar off, struck with terror at her punishment,
16 A mabienga! A mabienga! Divula dinneni dibedi vuatanga lino yidi dio veyi-veyi; minledi mi mbuaki yi fufulu ayi mi mbuaki; divula dibedi vuatanga nolo, matadi ma thalu ayi bilunga!
weeping aloud and sorrowing, and saying, 'Alas, alas, for this great city, which was brilliantly arrayed in fine linen, and purple and scarlet stuff, and beautified with gold, jewels and pearls;
17 Bila mu thangu yimosi kaka kimvuama kioso kioki ki lalikini. Babo beti nata masuwa ayi babo beti kibilanga mu masuwa, babo bansadilanga mu masuwa ayi babo banzingilanga mu mukhita mu mbu thama batelimina.
because in one short hour all this great wealth has been laid waste!' And every shipmaster and every passenger by sea and the crews and all who ply their trade on the sea,
18 Bu bamona muisi wu mbazu andi, buna bayamikina ayi batuba: —Divula mbi dilenda dedakana banga divula dinneni e?
stood afar off, and cried aloud when they saw the smoke of her burning. And they said, 'What city is like this great city?'
19 Bakilozila mbungi-mbungi mu mintu miawu, badila ayi bamona kiadi. Bayamikina: —A Mabienga! A Mabienga! Divula dinneni diodi dikitula batu boso bobo baba ayi masuwa mu mbu zimvuama mu diambu di kimvuama kiandi. Mu thangu yimosi dilalikini!
And they threw dust upon their heads, and cried out, weeping aloud and sorrowing. 'Alas, alas,' they said, 'for this great city, in which, through her vast wealth, the owners of all the ships on the sea have grown rich; because in one short hour she has been laid waste!'
20 A diyilu, bika wumona khini mu diambu di lalakana kuandi ayi beno banlongo, bamvuala ayi mimbikudi! Bila Nzambi wuzengidi nkanu mu diambu dieno.
Rejoice over her, O Heaven, and you saints and Apostles and Prophets; for God has taken vengeance upon her because of you."
21 Buna mbasi yidi ngolo yibonga ditadi, diodi diba tola banga tsindu, wudiloza mu mbu ayi wutuba: —Babiloni dinneni diela lozolo mu makhemi banga mama; dilendi buela monika ko.
Then a single angel of great strength took a stone which resembled a huge millstone, and hurled it into the sea, saying, "So shall Babylon, that great city, be violently hurled down and never again be found.
22 Buna mbembo yi minsiki mi ngitale, yi minsiki mi miziki, yi minsiki mi ziphungi ayi yi minsiki mi tulumbeta yilendi buela wakakana ko mu ngeyo. Kadi kisadi kimosi kinsalanga kioso-kioso kuandi kisalu kilendi buela monika ko mu ngeyo ayi biyoko bi tsindu bilendi buelawakakana ko mu ngeyo.
No harp or song, no flute or trumpet, shall ever again be heard in thee; no craftsman of any kind shall ever again be found in thee; nor shall the grinding of the mill ever again be heard in thee.
23 Kiezila ki muinda kilendi buela lezama ko mu ngeyo. Mbembo yi bakala ayi yi nketo bakuelini bosi yilendi buela wakana ko mu ngeyobila minkiti miaku mibedi batu ba luvalu ba ntoto; bila makanda mosomazimbidi mu diambu di mazi maku.
Never again shall the light of a lamp shine in thee, and never again shall the voice of a bridegroom or of a bride be heard in thee. For thy merchants were the great men of the earth, and with the magic which thou didst practise all nations were led astray.
24 Kuidi ngeyo kumonikina menga ma mimbikudi, ma banlongo ayi ma babobavondo va ntoto.
And in her was found the blood of Prophets and of God's people and of all who had been put to death on the earth."
