< Psalms 81 >

1 Nkunga Asafi kuidi pfumu minyimbidi; kayimbidila mu ngitala yi basi Ngati. Yimbidilanu Nzambi mu khini; niandi zingolo zieto! Yamikinanu kuidi Nzambi yi Yakobi!
Unto the end. For the wine and oil presses. A Psalm of Asaph himself. Exult before God our helper. Sing joyfully to the God of Jacob.
2 Tonanu miziki, sikanu zindungu; Bulanu minningu mu Ngitala ayi lu Lila.
Take up a psalm, and bring forth the timbrel: a pleasing Psalter with stringed instruments.
3 Sikanu phoka yi dimemi va ntotukila ngondi yi mona; ayi Ngondi bu yidi yiduka ayi mu lumbu ki nyengo eto!
Sound the trumpet at the new moon, on the noteworthy day of your solemnity,
4 Yayi yidi nzengolo mu diambu di Iseli, ayi tsikudukusu yi Nzambi yi Yakobi,
for it is a precept in Israel and a judgment for the God of Jacob.
5 Wukindisa yawu banga nsiku mu diambu di Zozefi mu thangu kanuanisa tsi yi Ezipite… Kuna tuwa mbembo yoyi tusia sudika ko.
He set it as a testimony with Joseph, when he went out of the land of Egypt. He heard a tongue that he did not know.
6 Tubidi: “Ndibotudi mfuna wubedi va mavangiti mawu. Ayi babotudi pani kibedi mu mioko miandi.
He turned the burdens away from his back. His hands had been a slave to baskets.
7 Mu ziphasi ziaku, ngeyo wutela ayi ndikula ndivana mvutu ku tsi dumu ki matuti nditota ku minlangu mi Meliba.
You called upon me in tribulation, and I freed you. I heard you within the hidden tempest. I tested you with waters of contradiction.
8 Wanu beno batu bama, ayi ndiela kululubula: enati beno luzola ku ndimba, a Iseli.
My people, listen and I will call you to testify. If, O Israel, you will pay heed to me,
9 Kulendi ba kadi nzambi yi nzenza ko va khatitsikꞌaku. Kulendi buongimina nzambi yi nzenza ko!
then there will be no new god among you, nor will you adore a foreign god.
10 Minu ndidi Yave, Nzambi, yoyi yilutotula mu tsi Ezipite; zibula bumboti munu aku ayi ndiela ku wuwesa.
For I am the Lord your God, who led you out of the land of Egypt. Widen your mouth, and I will fill it.
11 Vayi batu bama basia zola ku ndimba ko; Iseli kasia kuthumukina ko.
But my people did not hear my voice, and Israel was not attentive to me.
12 Buna ndiba yekula mu mintima miawu mingolo; mu landakana zikhanu ziawu veka.
And so, I sent them away, according to the desires of their heart. They will go forth according to their own inventions.
13 Enati batu bama bandima kuama, enati Iseli wuzola landakana zinzila ziama!
If my people had heard me, if Israel had walked in my ways,
14 Nganu mu nsualu ndieka tumbu kuba yekudila bambeni ziawu ayi balula koko kuama kuidi bobo beti kuba lenda.
I would have humbled their enemies, as if it were nothing, and I would have sent my hand upon those who troubled them.
15 Bobo beti lenda Yave balenda kukikulula va ntualꞌandi ayi nganu thumbudulu awu yela zingilanga mu zithangu zioso;
The enemies of the Lord have lied to him, and their time will come, in every age.
16 Vayi nganu ngeyo wudikulu mu ble yilutidi kitoko, mu niosi yintotukila mu ditadi, ndiela kuyukutisila.”
And he fed them from the fat of the grain, and he saturated them with honey from the rock.
