< Psalms 7 >

1 Nkunga wu maniongo wu Davidi kayimbidila Yave mu diambu di KUSI, muisi dikanda di Benzami. A Yave, Nzambi ama, kuidi ngeyo ndintombilanga suamunu kiama. Wuphukisa mu babo beti kundandakana ayi wukhula.
A psalm (shiggaion) of David, which he sang to the Lord concerning Cush, from the tribe of Benjamin. Lord my God, you are my protection. Save me from those who persecute me; please rescue me!
2 Muingi babika ku khanzuna banga khosi ayi kunzenga mu bitini mu kambu mutu wulenda vukisa.
Otherwise they will tear me apart like a lion, ripping me to pieces with no one to save me.
3 A Yave, Nzambi ama, enati ndivengi mawu ayi enati nzimbala yidi mu mioko miama;
If I have done what I'm accused of, if my hands are guilty,
4 enati ndivutudi mambimbi kuidi mutu wubedi zinganga yama mu ndembama, voti ndiziona, mu kambu bila, bima bi mutu wundenda,
If I have paid back a friend with evil, if I have robbed my enemy for no reason,
5 buna bika mbeni ama kandandakana ayi kambakidila; bika kadiatidila luzingu luama va tsi, ayi kandekisa mu mbungi-mbungi.
Then let my enemies chase me down; let them trample me in the dust and drag my reputation through the dirt. (Selah)
6 A Yave, telama ku tsi nganzi aku, Nuanisa miangu mi ngolo mi bambeni ziama. A Nzambi ama, kotuka bika wundungisa.
Stand up, Lord, in your anger, rise up against the fury of my enemies; wake up, Lord, and bring me justice!
7 Bika lukutukunu lu batu bazungidila, bika wuba yadila bu widi ku diyilu
Bring together the nations before you; rule them from your throne on high.
8 Bika Yave wusambisa batu A Yave, wutsambisa boso buididi busonga buama ayi boso buididi fuanana kuama, a Nzambi yizangama
The Lord judges all people. Defend me, Lord, because I do what is right, because of my integrity.
9 A Nzambi yi busonga, ngeyo wumfionguninanga mintima ayi mayindu ma batu, manisa makhemi ma mutu wumbimbi ayi tula mutu wusonga mu luvovomo.
Please bring an end to the evil done by the wicked; vindicate those who do good, for you are the God of right who examines hearts and minds.
10 Nzambi yizangama niandi nkaku ama; niandi wumvukisanga batu babo badi mintima milulama.
The Most High God is my defense, the one who saves those who live right.
11 Nzambi niandi zuzi disonga, Nzambi wummonisanga miangu miandi mu kadika lumbu.
God is a fair judge who is always hostile to evil.
12 Enati kakadi balula mavanga, wela lengula sabala kiandi, wela leki mbasꞌandi ayi kuwukubika.
If people do not change their minds, he will sharpen his sword. He has bent and strung his bow.
13 Wukubika binduanina biandi bi lufua wulembo kitula madionga mandi madionga ma mbazu.
He has prepared weapons of death, he has his flaming arrows ready.
14 Niandi widi mu buemba bu mambimbi; widi mu kubika ziphasi ayi butidi mambu ma luvunu.
See how the wicked conceive evil! They are pregnant with trouble. They give birth to dishonesty.
15 Niandi wukaba dibulu; wudikulula dimula ayi wubua mu dibulu di kakaba niandi veka.
They dig a deep hole to catch people, but then fall into it themselves.
16 Ziphasi ziozi kakubika zimbuididi niandi veka ayi tsitꞌandi yibuidi va dikosi diandi.
The trouble they cause rebounds to hit them on the head; their violence against others comes down on their own skulls.
17 Ndiela vutudila Yave matondo mu diambu di busonga buandi. Ayi ndiela yimbidila nzitusu wu dizina di Yave wuzangama.
I will thank the Lord because he does what is right; I will sing praises to the name of the Lord Most High.
