< Psalms 64 >

1 Nkunga Davidi kuidi pfumu minyimbidi. Wungwa, a Nzambi, bu ndilembo wakikisa maniongo mama keba luzingu luama va ntuala mbeni yoyi ndieti mona tsisi!
[For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] Hear my voice, God, in my complaint. Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
2 Wutsueka mu zikhanu zintotukilanga mu lukutukunu lu nsueki lu batu bambimbi ayi mu lukutukunu lu nkangu wu batu bamvanganga mambimbi; bobo badi bulawu.
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;
3 Balembo bengula ludimi luawu banga sabala; bantotulanga mambu mawu banga madionga meti vonda.
who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and aim their arrows, deadly words,
4 Beti lozila bu badi mu bibuangu bisuama mutu kambulu zaba diambu Beti kunlozila mu kinzimbukila, mu kambu mona tsisi.
to shoot innocent men from ambushes. They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.
5 Beti kukikindisa mu zikhanu zimbimbi; beti tubana mu diambu di batamba mintambu miawu, Beti kamba: “A nani wela mimona e?”
They encourage themselves in evil plans. They talk about laying snares secretly. They say, "Who will see them?"
6 Beti yindula mambu makambulu masonga ayi beti tuba: “Tukubikidi lukanu lu fuana.” Bukiedika, mayindu ma tsi ntima ayi ntima wu mutu thipula bidi.
They plot injustice; they hide a well-conceived plan. Surely man's mind and heart are cunning.
7 Vayi Nzambi wela kuba lozila madionga mandi mu kinzimbukila bela.
But God will shoot at them. They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow.
8 Wela balula ludimi luawu veka mu diambu diawu ayi kuba nata ku mbivusu babo bela kuba mona bela nikuna ntu.
Their own tongues shall ruin them. All who see them will shake their heads.
9 Batu boso bela mona tsisi, bela yamikisa mavanga ma Nzambi; ayi bela sudika momo kavanga.
All humankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely ponder what he has done.
10 Bika mutu wusonga kamona khini mu Yave ayi katombila suamunu mu niandi ayi babo badi mintima mi lulama banzitisa.
The righteous shall be glad in YHWH, and shall take refuge in him. All the upright in heart shall praise him.
