Psalms 16
1 Nkunga Davidi. A Nzambi, wukheba mu luvovomo bila kuidi ngeyo nditombila suamunu.
A writing of David. Keep me, O Lord; for I have hoped in you.
2 Kuidi Yave ndituba: “Ngeyo Pfumu ama, kuidi ngeyo kaka kueti banga mamboti mama.”
I said to the Lord, You are my Lord; for you has no need of my goodness.
3 Mu diambu di banlongo bobo badi mu tsi; bawu batu banzitusu. Khini yiwombo baku mbonisanga.
On behalf of the saints that are in his land, he has magnified all his pleasure in them.
4 Bobo banlandakananga zinzambi zinkaka kiadi kiawu kiela buelama, voti ndilendi tambika makaba mawu ma menga ko, Ndilendi tanga mazina mawu mu bididi biama ko.
Their weaknesses have been multiplied; afterward they hasted. I will by no means assemble their bloody meetings, neither will I make mention of their names with my lips.
5 Yave ngeyo wuphana ndambu yi kiuka kiama, ayi mbungu ama, ngeyo wunkebanga kuku kiama mu luvovomo.
The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: you are he that restores my inheritance to me.
6 Zindili zikubuku mu diambu diama mu buangu bidi kitoko; bukiedika, thambudi kiuka ki mboti.
The lines have fallen to me in the best places, yes, I have a most excellent heritage.
7 Ndiela zitisa Yave; wukuphananga malongi ntimꞌama wukundonganga mu builu,
I will bless the Lord who has instructed me; my reins too have chastened me even till night.
8 Ndieti tula Yave ku ntualꞌama mu zithangu zioso bila widi ku koko kuama ku lubakala, ndilendi nikuka ko.
I foresaw the Lord always before my face; for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved.
9 Diawu ntimꞌama wididi mu khini; ludimi luama lueti yangalala ayi nitu ama yela vunda mu luvovomo;
Therefore my heart rejoiced an my tongue exulted; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
10 Bila ngeyo wulendi kundiekula ko ku tsi bafua, ayi wulendi tala ko mutu aku wunlongo kabola. (Sheol h7585)
because you will not leave my soul in hell, neither will you suffer your Holy One to see corruption. (Sheol h7585)
11 Ngeyo wumbonisa nsolo wu luzingu; zikhini ziwombo zidi va ntuala zizi kiaku. Wela kumbonisa khini va meso maku va kimosi ayi zikhini zika zisukanga ko zidi va koko kuaku ku lubakala.
You have made known to me the ways of life; you will fill me with joy with your countenance: at your right hand [there are] delights for ever.
