< Psalms 138 >
1 Nkunga Davidi. Ndiela kuzitisa, a Yave, mu ntimꞌama wumvimba; ndiela yimbila minzitusu miaku va ntuala zinzambi.
A Psalm for David, of Aggaeus and Zacharias. I will give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart; and I will sing psalms to you before the angels; for you have heard all the words of my mouth.
2 Ndiela buongama ku ndambu nzo aku yinlongo; ayi ndiela zitisa dizina diaku mu diambu di luzolu luaku ayi mu diambu di kikhuikizi kiaku bila ngeyo wuyayisidi dizina diaku ayi mambu maku va yilu bima bioso.
I will worship toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your name, on account of your mercy and your truth; for you have magnified your holy name above every thing.
3 Thangu nditela, ngeyo wuphana mvutu. Wukhitula nkua ngangu ayi nkua bukhafi bu ngolo.
In whatever day I shall call upon you, hear me speedily; you shall abundantly provide me with your power in my soul.
4 Bika mintinu mioso mintoto mizitisa, a Yave bu miwilu mambu ma munu aku.
Let all the kings of the earth, o Lord, give thanks to you; for they have heard all the words of your mouth.
5 Bika miyimbila zinzila zi Yave bila nkembo wu Yave widi wunneni.
And let them sing in the ways of the Lord; for great is the glory of the Lord.
6 Ka diambu ko Yave widi wuzangama, niandi weti tala bobo beti kukikulula ayi zebi bumboti batu badi luniemo bu badi ku thama.
For the Lord is high, and [yet] regards the lowly; and he knows high things from afar off.
7 Ka diambu ko ndilembo diatila va khatitsika ziphasi, ngeyo weti tanina luzingu luama; ngeyo weti nonuna koko kuaku mu kakidila zinganzi zi bobo beti kundenda; mu koko kuaku ku lubakala weti kuphukisila.
Though I should walk in the midst of affliction, you will quicken me; you have stretched forth your hands against the wrath of mine enemies, and your right hand has saved me.
8 Yave wela dukisa mambu momo keti tomba mu minu. Luzolo luaku, a Yave, lunzingilanga mu zithangu zioso. Kadi yekula bisalu bi mioko miaku.
O Lord, you shall recompense [them] on my behalf: your mercy, O Lord, [endures] for ever: overlook not the works of your hands.
