Psalms 125

1 Nkunga wunyimbudulu mu nzila yikuendila ku nzo Yave. Bobo bantulanga diana diawu mu Yave badi banga mongo wu Sioni, wowo wulendi nikuka ko vayi wunzingilanga mu zithangu zioso.

[A Song of Ascents.] Those who trust in Jehovah are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but remains forever.

2 Banga miongo bu mizungididi Yelusalemi, buawu bobo Yave kazungididi batu bandi tona buabu nate mu zithangu zioso.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Jehovah surrounds his people from this time forth and forevermore.

3 Nkawa wu kipfumu wu batu bambimbi wulendi vuandanga ko va mbata ntoto wukubukulu batu basonga; bila nganu batu basonga bela sadila mioko miawu mu vanga mambimbi.

For the scepter of wickedness won't remain over the allotment of the righteous; so that the righteous won't use their hands to do evil.

4 Vanga mamboti, a Yave, kuidi batu bamboti, kuidi bobo badi balulama mu mintima.

Do good, Jehovah, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts.

5 Vayi bobo beti vengama mu diatila mu zinzila zivenga, Yave wela kuba lalikisa va kimosi ayi bobo bamvanganga mambimbi. Ndembama yibanga vadi Iseli.

But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Jehovah will lead them away with evildoers. Peace be on Israel.
