Psalms 122

1 Nkunga Davidi wuyimbudulu mu nzila yikuendila ku nzo Yave. Khini ndimona bu bakhamba ti: “Bika tuendanu ku nzo Yave”.

I was glad when they said to me, Let us go to the house of Jehovah.

2 Malu meto matelimini mu mielo miaku, a Yelusalemi.

Our feet are standing inside thy gates, O Jerusalem.

3 Yelusalemi ditungu banga divula. Diodi dikangama ngolo va kimosi

Jerusalem, that is built as a city that is compact together,

4 Kuna kueti kuiza zimvila, zimvila Yave mu diambu di zitisa dizina di Yave boso buididi zinzengolo zivanu kuidi Iseli.

where the tribes go up, even the tribes of Jehovah, for an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to the name of Jehovah.

5 Bila kuna kutelimini bikundu bi kipfumu bi tsambusulu; bikundu bi kipfumu bi nzo yi Davidi.

For there thrones are set for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

6 Lusambila mu diambu di ndembama yi Yelusalemi. Bika bobo beti kuzola bamona luvovomo.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They shall prosper who love thee.

7 Bika ndembama yiba mu bibaka biaku ayi luvovomo mu zinzo ziaku zinneni.

Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

8 Mu diambu di bakhomba ziama ayi bakundi bama ndiela tuba “bika ndembama yiba yaku”.

For my brothers and companions' sakes I will now say, Peace be within thee.

9 Mu diambu di nzo Yave, Nzambi eto, ndiela tomba mamboti maku.

For the sake of the house of Jehovah our God I will seek thy good.
