< Psalms 109 >
1 Nkunga Davidi kuidi pfumu minyimbidi. A Nzambi, mutu wowo ndieti zitisa bika dingalala.
For the music director. A psalm of David. God, the one I praise, please don't remain silent,
2 Bila batu bambimbi ayi batu bansadilanga bukhita bazibudi miunu miawu mu diambu diama. Balembo tubi mu diambu diama mu ludimi lu luvunu.
because wicked and deceitful people are attacking me, telling lies about me.
3 Mu mambu ma kikhenene, banzungididi ayi balembo nduanisa mu kambu bila.
They surround me with words of hate, fighting against me for no reason.
4 Mu kikundi kiama, balembo mfundi vayi minu ndidi mutu wu lusambulu.
I love them, but they respond with hostility towards me, even while I'm praying for them!
5 Baphutudidi mambimbi mu mamboti ayi bandendidi mu diambu di kikundi kiama.
They pay me back with evil instead of good, with hatred instead of love.
6 Sobula mutu wumbimbi mu diambu kakba mbeni andi; bika mfundi katelama va koko kuandi ku lubakala.
“Appoint someone wicked over him. Have someone stand as an accuser against him.
7 Mu thangu kela samba, bika kaba monika mu nzimbala ayi bika lusambulu luandi lumbedisa.
When he is judged and sentenced, may he be found guilty. Let his prayers be counted as sins.
8 Bika bilumbu biandi bikituka bifioti. Bika mutu wunkaka kabonga buangu kiandi ki kintuadisi.
May his life be short; let someone else take over his position.
9 Bika bana bandi baba bana basana; ayi nketo andi difuola.
May his children be left fatherless, and his wife become a widow.
10 Bika bana bandi baba mindiengidi mikuenda lombingi; bika baba kuka mu zinzo ziawu zitiolumuka.
May his children be homeless, wandering beggars, driven from their ruined houses.
11 Bika mutu wowo weti devisa kabonga bima bioso biobi kavuidi; bika banzenza baziona mu kingolo mimbutu mi kisalu kiandi.
May creditors seize all that he owns; may strangers take all that he worked for.
12 Bika kubika ba mutu wulenda kumvangila mamboti voti monina bana bandi basana kiadi.
May no one be kind to him; may no one take pity on his fatherless children.
13 Bika nkunꞌandi wulalakana; mazina mawu makubulu mu tsungi yinkuiza.
May his descendants die; may his family name be wiped out in the next generation.
14 Bika mambimbi ma bakulu bandi matebukulungu moyo va ntuala Yave, bika disumu di ngudi andi dibika kubulu.
May the Lord be reminded of the sins of his fathers; may his mother's sins not be blotted out.
15 Bika masumu mawu mazingila mu zithangu zioso va ntuala Yave muingi kalalikisa thebukulu awu moyo va ntoto.
May their sins be constantly before the Lord; may his name be totally forgotten by people.
16 Bila kalendi yindula mu vanga mamboti ko, vayi wuyamisa nsukami nate ku lufua; ayi nkua kiadi ayi mutu wuba ntima wukosakana.
For he didn't think to be kind to others, instead he harassed and killed the poor, the needy, the brokenhearted.
17 Niandi wuzola singa; bika yimbuila, kamonanga khini ko mu lusakumunu bika luawu luba thama ayi niandi
He loved to put a curse on others—let it come back on him. He had no time for blessings—so may he never receive any.
18 Wuvuata tsingulu banga nledi andi; yawu yikota mu khati nitu andi banga nlangu, mu mimvesi miandi banga mafuta.
He cursed as often as he got dressed. May his curses go into him like the water he drinks, like the olive oil he rubs on his skin that enters his bones.
19 Bika yawu yikituka banga yunga kioki kakukifukila; banga nsinga luketo wowo keti vuata mu zithangu zioso.
May his curses stick to him like clothing, may they be pulled tight around him like a belt.”
20 Bika buawu bobo bubela mfutu wu Yave kuidi mimfundi miama; kuidi bobo bantubanga mambu mambimbi mu diambu diama.
May all this be the punishment of the Lord on my enemies, on those who speak evil of me.
21 Vayi ngeyo Yave, mutu wumvanganga mawu zodidi, wuphangila mamboti mu diambu di dizina diaku; ka diambu ko mamboti ma luzolo luaku madi, bika wukhula.
But treat me well, Lord God, because of your own reputation. Save me because you are faithful and good.
22 Ndidi nkua kiadi ayi nsukami ayi ntimꞌama widi wuluala mu minu.
For I am poor and needy, and my heart is breaking.
23 Ndieka lalakana banga kitsusula va masika; bakhukidi banga makhoko.
I am fading away like an evening shadow; I am like a locust that is shaken off.
24 Makuma mama malembo bulangama mu kukifuisanga nzala mu diambu di lusambulu; nitu ama yidi yifioti ayi yikonda.
I am so weak from lack of food that my legs give way; my body is just skin and bones.
25 Minu ndieka diambu di mvuezolo kuidi mimfundi miama; bawu kumbona, balembo nikuna mintu miawu.
People ridicule me—they look at me and shake their heads!
26 Wutsadisa, a Yave, Nzambi ama; wuphukisa boso buididi luzolo luaku.
Help me, Lord my God; save me because of your trustworthy love.
27 Bika bazaba ti koko kuaku; ti ngeyo Yave wuvanga buawu.
May they recognize that this is what you are doing—that you are the one who saves me.
28 Bawu balembo singi vayi ngeyo wela sakumuna. Bu batelimini mu diambu di nuanisa, bela fua tsoni vayi kisadi kiaku kiela mona khini.
When they curse me, you will bless me. When they attack me, you will defeat them. And I, your servant, will be happy.
29 Mimfundi miama milendi vuata nzitusu ko ayi miela fukudulu tsoni banga yunga.
May those who accuse me be clothed with disgrace; may they cover themselves with a cloak of shame.
30 Mu munu ama, ndiela yayisa ngolo Yave; Mu nkangu wunneni wu batu, ndiela kunzitisa.
But I will keep on thanking the Lord, praising him to everyone around me.
31 Bila niandi wuntelamanga va koko ku lubakala lu nsukami mu diambu di vukisa luzingu luandi mu mioko mi bobo bakunzengilanga nkanu.
For he takes a stand to defend the needy, to save them from those who condemn them.
