< Psalms 106 >

1 Luzitisa Yave, luvutudila Yave matondo bila widi wumboti, luzolo luandi lunzingila mu zithangu zioso.
Praise ye Yah, Give ye thanks to Yahweh—For he is good, For age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.
2 Nani wulenda yamikisa mavanga ma lulendo ma Yave? Voti samuna nzitusu andi woso e?
Who can relate the mighty deeds of Yahweh? can cause to be heard, all his praise?
3 Lusakumunu kuidi bobo basimbididi busonga; bobo beti vanga mambu ma lulama mu zithangu zioso.
How happy! They who observe justice, He that executeth righteousness at all times.
4 Wuthebukila moyo, a Yave, mu thangu wumvangila batu baku mamboti wiza wutsadisa mu thangu wela kubavukisa,
Remember me, O Yahweh, when thou acceptest thy people, Visit me, with thy salvation;
5 muingi ndibaka bu muena khini mu mamboti ma batu baku bobo wusobula; muingi ndibaka bukabudila khini ayi batu baku; ayi muingi ndifubakana va kimosi ayi kiuka kiaku mu kuvananga nzitusu.
That I may look upon the welfare of thy chosen ones, That I may rejoice in the joy of thy nation, That I may glory, with thine inheritance.
6 Tuvola masumu banga buvodila madise meto; beto tuvanga mambimbi ayi mavanga mambimbi.
We have sinned—with our fathers, We have acted perversely, we have committed lawlessness;
7 Thangu madise meto baba ku Ezipite, basia ba ko kadi mayindu mu bikumu biaku; basia tebukila ko moyo woka ku mamboti maku vayi baba bankua matingu va ndambu mbu, va ndambu mbu wu mbuaki.
Our fathers, in Egypt, understood not thy wonders, They remembered not the abounding of thy lovingkindnesses, but rebelled by the sea—at the Red Sea.
8 Vayi wuba vukisa mu diambu di nkembo wu dizina diandi mu monisa lulendo luandi.
Yet he saved them, for the sake of his Name, to make known his mighty power;
9 Wutemina mbu wu mbuaki, buna wawu wuyuma; wuba diatisa mu dibulu dinneni banga mu dikanga.
So he rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up, And he led them through deeps, as pasture-land;
10 Wuba vukisa mu koko ku mutu wowo wu balenda; wuba kula mu koko ku bambeni.
And saved them from the hand of one full of hatred, And redeemed them out of the hand of the foe;
11 Minlangu midiamisa bambeni ziawu; kadi wumosi kasia siala wumoyo ko.
So the waters covered their adversaries, Not one from among them, was left.
12 Buna bawilukila zitsila ziandi ayi bayimbila minzitusu miandi.
They believed therefore in his words, They sang his praise.
13 Vayi mu nsualu bavika zimbakana momo kavanga, ayi basia tadidila zindongi ziandi ko.
Soon forgat they his works, —They waited not for his counsel;
14 Mu dikanga, bakiyekula mu zinzinunu ziawu; va buangu kikambulu batu, batota Nzambi.
But lusted a lust in the desert, and tested GOD in the waste.
15 Buna wuba vana biobi balomba; ayi wubafidisila ziphasi.
So he gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.
16 Bavangila Moyize kiphala ayi Aloni ku ka, mutu wowo Yave kabieka nlongo.
And they became jealous of Moses in the camp, —of Aaron the holy one of Yahweh;
17 Ntoto wuzibuka ayi wumina Datani; ayi wufuka dikabu di batu ba Abilami
The earth opened and engulfed Dathan, and covered up the assembly of Abiram;
18 Mbazu yilema va khatitsika batu baba kubakuka, nlaki wu mbazu wuzinisa batu bambimbi.
Then was kindled a fire in their assembly, —a flame, consumed the lawless ones.
19 Ku Holebi, bavanga muana ngombi; ayi babuongimina tumba kivangulu mu suitisa sengo.
They made a calf in Horeb, —and bowed down to a molten image;
20 Baviakisa nkembo awu mu mfikula yi ngombi yeti dia biti
Thus changed they my glory, for the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
21 Bazimbakana Nzambi, mutu wubavukisa, mutu wuvanga mambu manneni mu Ezipite,
They forgat GOD their saviour, who had done great things in Egypt:
22 bikumu mu tsi Hami ayi mambu ma tsisi va ndambu mbu wu mbuaki.
Wonders in the land of Ham, Terrible things by the Red Sea.
23 Buna wutuba ti wukana ku babunga; enati kambu Moyize, mutu andi wukasobula, wutelama mu diambu di kuba sambildila va ntualꞌandi mu diambu di kakidila miangu miandi mi ngolo muingi kabika ku babunga.
Then would he have bidden to destroy them, —had not Moses his chosen, stood in the breach before him, To turn back his wrath from destroying.
24 Buna balenza tsi yi makhini, basia wilukila ko tsilꞌandi.
And they refused the delightful land, They believed not his word;
25 Baniunguta mu zinzo ziawu zi ngoto; ayi basia tumukina ko Yave.
But murmured in their tents, —They hearkened not unto the voice of Yahweh.
26 Buna wuvumuna koko kuandi mu leva ndefi mu diambu diawu ti wela kuba buisa mu dikanga;
So he lifted up his hand unto them, that he would let them fall in the desert;
27 ti wela buisa nkunꞌawu va khatitsika makanda; ayi wela kuba sasikisa mu yenda ntoto.
And would disperse their seed among the nations, and would scatter them throughout the lands.
28 Bakiyekula bawu veka kuidi Bali-Pewoli ayi badia makaba matambuku kuidi zinzambi zikambulu moyo.
Yet they let themselves be bound to Baal-peor, —and did eat sacrifices to the dead:
29 Basoka Yave muingi kafuema mu diambu di mavanga mawu mambimbi, ayi nsongo wutotuka va khatitsikꞌawu.
So they provoked to anger by their doings, and a plague, made a breach among them.
30 Buna Pineyasi wutelama ayi wuvuata nsamu; buna nsongo wutumbu manisa.
Then stood up Phinehas, and interposed, and stayed was the plague:
31 Buna bantangila diawu banga busonga mu zitsungi zinkuiza zikambulu tsukulu.
So it was counted unto him, for righteousness, To generation after generation, unto times age abiding.
32 Ku minlangu mi Meliba, bafuemisa Yave; buna ziphasi zibuila Moyize mu diambu diawu.
And they provoked by the waters of Meribah, —And it fared ill with Moses, for their sakes;
33 Bila batinguna Pheve yi Nzambi ayi mambu makambulu fuana matotukila mu bididi bi Moyize.
For they embittered his spirit, and he spake rashly with his lips.
34 Basi bunga ko batu boso bubela lutumunu lu Yave.
They destroyed not the peoples of which Yahweh had spoken to them;
35 Vayi bafubakana ayi makanda mankaka ayi balonguka kikhulu ki makanda beni.
But had fellowship with the nations, and learned their doings;
36 Babuongimina bitumba biawu, biawu bikituka ntambu kuidi bawu.
Yea they served their idols, and they became to them a snare:
37 Batambika bana bawu bababakala ayi babaketo kuidi ziphevi zimbimbi.
Yea they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to mischievous demons;
38 Batengula menga ma batu bakambulu zaba diambu; menga ma bana bawu bababakala ayi babaketo mawu batambika kuidi bitumba bi Kana. Buna ntoto wusumuka mu diambu di menga mawu.
And poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, And the land was polluted with blood-shed;
39 Bakisumuna bawu veka mu momo bavanga, mu mavanga mawu, ba ta kitsuza bawu veka.
And they became unclean by their works, and became unchaste in their doings.
40 Muaki Yave wufuemina batu bandi ayi wukakumukina kiuka kiandi.
Then was kindled the anger of Yahweh with his people, and he abhorred his own inheritance.
41 Wuba yekula kuidi makanda ayi bobo baba lenda babayadila.
So he delivered them up into the hand of the nations, And they who hated them, had dominion over them;
42 Bambeni bawu ziba yamisa ayi batulu ku tsi lulendo luawu.
And their enemies oppressed them, And they were bowed down under their hand.
43 Zikhumbu ziwombo kaba kudila vayi baba kaka bankua matingu ayi bakibivisa mu masumu mawu.
Many times, did he rescue them, —But, they, rebelled by their counsel, and sank low in their iniquity.
44 Vayi wubela ziphasi ziawu mayindu thangu kawa yamikina kuawu.
Then looked he on the distress which befell them, —when he heard their loud cry;
45 Mu bila kiawu, wutebukila nguizani andi moyo; ayi mu luzolo luandi lunneni wubalula lukanu.
Then remembered he, for them, his covenant, and was moved to pity, according to the abounding of his lovingkindnesses;
46 Niandi wuvanga ti bamueno kiadi kuidi bobo baba nata mu kivika.
And granted them compassion before all their captors.
47 Wutuvukisa, a Yave, Nzambi eto; ayi wutukutikisa tona ku makanda muingi tubaka buvutudila dizina diaku dinlongo matondo ayi nkembo mu nzitusu aku.
Save us, O Yahweh our God, and gather us from among the nations, That we may give thanks unto thy holy Name, That we may triumph aloud in thy praise.
48 Yave kazitusu, Nzambi yi Iseli! Mu zithangu zioso ayi mu mvu ka mvu. Bika batu boso batuba: “Amen.” Luzitisa Yave.
Blessed be Yahweh, God of Israel, from one age even unto another, And all the people, shall say, Amen! Praise ye Yah!
