1 Polo, muisi nloko mu diambu di Yesu Klisto, ayi Timote khombꞌetobafidisidi nkanda wawu kuidi Filemo, nkundi eto wu luzolo ayi kisadi yeto

and to Apphia the beloved, and to Archippus our fellow-soldier, and to the church at thy house:
3 Bika nlemvo ayi ndembama bi Nzambi Dise dieto ayi bi Pfumu eto bibangayeno.
grace be to you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
4 Ndimvutulanga matondo kuidi Nzambi mu zithangu zioso bu ndikutebukilanga moyo mu zitsambulu ziama,
I thank my God always, making mention of thee in my prayers,
5 bu ndilembo wanga zitsangu zi luzolo ayi zi minu zidi yaku mu diambu di Pfumu Yesu ayi mu diambu di banlongo boso.
hearing of thy love and faith which thou hast towards the Lord Jesus, and unto all the saints;
6 Ndinsambila Nzambi muingi wuba bufula mu ba mu kithuadi ayi bankaka mu minu kiaku muingi wuba diela difuana di sudikila dioso-diosodiambu di mboti didi yeto mu Klisto.
that there may be an operative communication of thy faith made known by every good thing, which is in you towards Jesus Christ.
7 Luzolo luaku lumbonisa khini yingolo ayi lukhindisa bila ngeyo, khomba, bika wuzaba bumbote ti wukulula mintima mi banlongo.
For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints have been refreshed by thee, brother.
8 Diawu, budidi ti mbeki kiphuanza kingolo mu Klisto mu kutumina mu mambu mafueni,
Wherefore, though I have in Christ great liberty to enjoin thee what is becoming,
9 mu diambu di luzolo, vayi mu diambu di boso bu ndidi minu Polo, kinunu ayi buela ndidi buabu mu nloko mu diambu di Yesu Klisto;
I rather for love’s sake entreat, being such as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner for Jesus Christ.
10 ndikulomba mu diambu di Onesime, muanꞌama wundibuta buna ndidi wukangama.
I entreat thee for my son, whom I have begotten during my bonds, Onesimus:
11 Va theti niandi kasia ba mfunu kuidi ngeyo ko vayi buabu mfunu wuwombo keka kuidi ngeyo ayi kuidi minu.
who in time past hath been an unprofitable servant to thee, but now very profitable to thee and to me:
12 Ndimvutudi diaka kuidi ngeyo; niandi bukadi kintima kiama.
whom I have sent back; thou therefore receive him, even as my own bowels:
13 Muaki ndiedi katia ti kavuanda kuandi yama muingi katsadisa va buangu kiaku bu ndidi wukangama mu diambu di Nsamu Wumboti.
whom I wished to detain about myself, that in thy stead he might have waited upon me during my bonds for the gospel:
14 Vayi mbengi kuama buvanga mu kambu teka zaba mayindu maku mu diambu wubika vangila mamboti maku mu kuiku vayi mavangimina mu luzolo.
but without thy consent would I do nothing; that this good deed of thine might not be as of necessity, but from thy own choice.
15 Nani zebi, mananga Onesime wutuama vambana yaku mu ndambu thangu kaka muingi wuntambula buabu mu zithangu zioso; (aiōnios g166)
For to this end perhaps was he separated from thee for a season, that thou mightest receive him for ever; (aiōnios g166)
16 vayi bika banga mvika vayi banga mutu wowo viatukidi mvika, banga khomba yi luzolo. Niandi thalu yiwombo kadi kuidi minu vayi kuidingeyo wela luta thalu bu keka mutu ayi khomba mu Pfumu.
no longer as a slave, but above a slave, as a brother beloved, especially by me, but how much more by thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
17 Diawu, mu diambu di kithuadi ayi minu, buna wunyakula banga timinu veka yakudi.
If therefore thou holdest me a sharer with thee, receive him as myself.
18 Enati diambu di mbimbi kavangila voti pholo aku kadi, buna tangila biawu va dizina diama.
If he hath injured thee or oweth thee ought, put that to my account;
19 Tala minu veka Polo tsonikini mambu mama mu koko kuama. Minu ndiela futa yawu ayi mbengi kuama kutebula moyo ti ngeyo mamvaku pholowidi kuidi minu. Pholo beni yidi luzingu luaku veka.
I Paul have given it under my own hand, I will repay it, not to say to thee, that thou owest even thine own self unto me.
20 Nyinga khomba, mu diambu di Pfumu bika wutsadisa; buisa ntimꞌamamu Klisto.
Yea, brother, I wish to have joy in thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.
21 Bu tsididi tumama kuaku diana, diawu ndisonikini bila nzebi ti wela vanga viokila momo ndombidi.
Having confidence in thy obedience, I have written unto thee, knowing that thou wilt do more than I say.
22 Diambu dinkaka, wukhubikila nlekolo, bila diana ndisia ti mu diambu di zitsambulu zieno bela ku phutula kuidi beno.
But at the same time prepare me also a lodging: for I hope that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
23 Mboti aku yibedi kuidi Epafalasi, nkundi ama mu nloko mu diambu di Klisto Yesu.
There salute thee Epaphras, my fellow-prisoner in Christ Jesus;
24 Zimboti ziaku zibedi kuidi bisadi yama Malako, Alisitalike, Demasi ayi Luka.
Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, Luke, my fellow-labourers.
25 Bika nlemvo wu Pfumuꞌeto Yesu Klisto wubanga yaku.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Amen. Written to Philemon from Rome, by Onesimus one of his household.
