< John 10 >

1 —Bukiedika, bukiedika ndikulukamba ti woso wunkambu kotila va muelo phaka wu mamemi vayi wunkotila ku yilu niandi khatika muivi ayi dovula!
VERILY, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheep-fold, but getteth in some other way, that person is a thief and a robber.
2 Vayi woso wunkotila va muelo buna niandi nsungi.
He that entereth by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 Niandi beti zibudila kuidi nsungi wu luphangu ayi mamemi meta wa mbemboꞌandi. Wuntelanga mamemi mandi mu mazina mawu ayi wunkumatotulanga ku nganda.
To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own peculiar sheep by name, and leadeth them forth.
4 Bu katotudi mamemi mandi moso ku nganda, weti kuma tuaminina ku ntuala ayi mamemi meti kunlandakananga bila mazebi mbemboꞌandi.
And when he bringeth out his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: because they know his voice.
5 Muaki malendi landakana nzenza ko vayi meta kuntina bila masi zaba ko mbembo yi banzenza.
And a stranger will they not follow, but will fly from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
6 Yesu wuba kamba nongo yoyo vayi basia sudika ko mambu momo kaba kuba kamba:
This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they knew nothing of the things which he spake to them.
7 Yesu wubuela ku bakamba diaka: —Bukiedika, bukiedika ndikulukamba ti minu muelo phaka wu mamemi.
Therefore Jesus said unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that I am the door of the sheep.
8 Mivi ayi bidovula bawu batu bayiza ku ntualꞌama. Vayi mamemi masia kubawila ko.
All, as many as have gone before me, are thieves and robbers: but the sheep hearkened not to them.
9 Minu ndidi muelo. Woso wunkotila mu munu wela vuka. Niandi wela kota, wela totuka ayi wela baka bidia.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved; and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10 Muivi weta kuiza kaka mu diambu di yiba, vonda ayi bunga. Minu ndiyiza mu diambu di mamemi mabaka luzingu muingi mabaka luawu mu buwombo-wombo.
The thief cometh not but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
11 Minu ndidi Nsungi Wumboti. Nsungi wumboti weta vana luzingu luandi mu diambu di mamemi.
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd layeth down his life for the sheep.
12 Vayi mutu wowo wumfutungu, kambulu nsungi wumboti, kambulu vua mamemi, niandi mona diemvu dilemvu yizi, wunyekulanga mamemi ayiwuntinanga; buna diemvu dikumabuilanga ayi dinsasikisanga mamemi.
But the hireling, and he that is not the shepherd, whose own property the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth; and the wolf seizes upon them, and disperseth the sheep.
13 Mutu wumfutungu weta tina bila futu keta futu; kabelanga mamemi mayindu ko.
Now the hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
14 Minu ndidi nsungi wumbote; nzebi mamemi mama ayi mamemi mama manzebi.
I am the good shepherd, and know my own sheep, and am known of my own.
15 Sumbu Tata kanzebi ayi minu nzebi Tata. Ndieta vana luzingu luama mu diambu di mamemi.
As the Father knoweth me, so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 Minu mbeki mamemi mankaka makambulu mu phaka yayi, mamvawu mfueti ku matuala ayi mela wa mbemboꞌama. Buna vela ba nkangu wumosi ayi nsungi wumosi.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: these also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, one shepherd.
17 Tata wunzodidi mu diambu diadi: minu ndieti vana luzingu luama muingindibuela lubonga diaka.
Therefore doth the Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.
18 Kadi mutu kalendi kuphonda ko vayi minu veka ndieti vana luzingu luama. Bila minu veka mbeki lulendo mu kuluvana ayi mbeki lulendo lu buela kulubonga. Luawu lolo thumunu nditambula kuidi Dise diama.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment I have received from my Father.
19 Bayuda babuela vasuka diaka mu diambu di mambu momo.
There was therefore a division again among the Jews, on account of these sayings.
20 Bawombo mu bawu batuba: —Pheve yimbimbi yidi yandi ayi kilawu kadi. Bila mbi lufueti kunwila e?
Then many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hearken to him?
21 Vayi bankaka mu bawu batuba: —Mutu widi Pheve yimbimbi kalendi tuba mambu momo ko. Pheve yimbimbi yilenda kuandi zibula meso ma phofo e?
Others said, These are not the discourses of a demoniac. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
22 Yiba thangu nyengo wu mbiekolo Nzo Nzambi, ku Yelusalemithangu yi kiozi kingolo,
Then was the feast of dedication at Jerusalem, and it was winter.
23 Yesu wudiata mu Nzo Nzambi, ku ndambu buangu baba ntedilanga: makunzi ma Solomo.
And Jesus was walking in the temple, in Solomon’s portico.
24 Bayuda banzungidila, banyuvula: —Nate thangu mbi fueti lembo tutudilanga mintima mu yilu e? Enati bukiedika ngeyo widi Klisto, wutukambi!
Then the Jews came about him, and said to him, How long dost thou keep our soul in suspense? If thou art the Messiah, tell us plainly.
25 Yesu wuba vutudila: —Ndilukamba buawu vayi lumanga kueno wilukila. Mavanga momo ndieti vanga mu dizina di dise diama mawu meti kuthelimina kimbangi.
Jesus answered them; I told you, and ye believed not: the works which I do in the name of my Father, they bear witness of me.
26 Vayi beno lukadi wilukila bila luisi mamemi mama ko banga kuandi bu ndilukamba.
But ye believe not, for ye are not of my sheep, as I told you.
27 Mamemi mama manwanga mbemboꞌama ayi minu ndimazebi, meta kundandakana.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 Minu ndieta kumavana luzingu lukalumani ayi malendi fua ko. Kuisi ko mutu wulenda kumaziona mu mioko miama. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
and I give unto them everlasting life and they shall never perish to eternity, and no person shall pluck them out of my hand. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
29 Bila Dise diama diodi diphana mawu, viatukidi babo. Kuisi ko mutu wulenda kumaziona mu mioko mi Dise diama.
My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all and no one shall pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
30 Minu ayi Tata tuidi mutu wumosi.
I and my Father are one.
31 Bayuda batota diaka matadi muingi banzuba.
Then the Jews again brought stones, in order to stone him.
32 Yesu wuba vutudila: —Minu ndilumonisa mavanga mawombo mamboti maba kuidi Dise diama. Mu diambu di mavanga mbi momo lutidi kunzubila matadi e?
Jesus said unto them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which work of these are ye going to stone me?
33 Bayuda bamvutudila: —Tukadi kuzuba matadi mu diambu di mavanga mamboti vayi mu diambu wulembo vuezi Nzambi ayi ngeyo widi mutu kaka vayi wulembo tubi ti widi Nzambi.
The Jews answered him, For a good work we do not stone thee; but for blasphemy; and that thou, being merely a man, makest thyself God.
34 Yesu wuba vutudila: —Mu mina mieno musia sonama ko: Minu thubidi ti beno luidi zinzambi e?
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, “I said ye are gods?”
35 Enati niandi wuntedila batu bawa mambu ma Nzambi “zinzambi” ayi masonama malendi vunzu ko,
If he called those gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36 buna bila mbi lulembo tubila kuidi mutu wukitulu nlongo kuidi Tata ayi mutu wowo kafidisa va nza ti wulembo vuezi Nzambi e? Bila thubidingi ti “minu ndidi Muana Nzambi e?”
do ye say of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest because I said, I am the Son of God?
37 Enati ndikadi vanga mavanga ma Dise diama, buna bikanu kueno kunguila.
If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
38 Vayi enati ndilembo mavangi, bu lukambu kueno kunguila, vayi bika luwilukila mavanga muingi luzaba ayi luwilukila ti Tata widi mu minu ayi minu ndidi mu niandi.
But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
39 Batomba diaka mu kunkanga, vayi wutina mu mioko miawu
Then sought they again to apprehend him and he departed out of their reach,
40 ayi wuyenda diaka kuna disimu di Yolidani va buangu kioki Yowani katonina botikila; wuvuanda kuna.
and went again beyond Jordan, unto the place where John at first baptised; and there he abode.
41 Batu bawombo bayiza kuidi niandi ayi batuba: —Yowani kasia vanga kadi kumu kimosi ko, vayi mambu mamo matuba Yowani mu diambu di mutu wawu madi makiedika.
And many came to him, and said, That John indeed performed no miracle: but all things whatsoever John spake of this man were true.
42 Kuna buangu beni batu bawombo banwilukila.
And many believed on him there.
