< James 5 >
1 A beno zimvuama, lungua buabu! Bika ludila ayi lunionga mu diambu di mabienga momo mela lukuizila.
Come now, you rich, weep and cry aloud for your miseries that are coming on you.
2 Kimvuama kieno kidi kibola; bosi minledi mieno midiwulu kuidi zimvidi.
Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth-eaten.
3 Nolo ayi palata bieno bieka khazu-khazu, bosi khazu-khazu beni yawu yela lutelimina kimbangi, yawu yela mana vokuna dia minsuni mi zinitu zieno banga mbazu. Beno lueti kukiwokisila kimvuama mu bilumbu bitsuka.
Your gold and your silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be for a testimony against you, and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up your treasure in the last days.
4 Luisia futa ko mfutu wufuana kuidi bisadi biobi bisedi mu zitsola zieno. Wanu maniongo mawu. Yamikina ku batu bobo beti vela mimbutu kutudidinate mu matu ma Pfumu yi minkangu mi masodi.
Look, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts.
5 Luzingidi mu luzingu lu zikhini ayi lu kitoko vava ntoto; lumeni kituka banneni banga bibulu bimvingila lumbu kioki biela vondo.
You have lived delicately on the earth, and taken your pleasure. You have nourished your hearts in a day of slaughter.
6 Beno lubedisa, luvonda mutu wusonga, ayi niandi kasia kulukandika ko.
You have condemned, you have murdered the righteous one. He does not resist you.
7 A bakhomba, bika luvibidila nate Pfumu kela kuiza. Luyindula mutu wowo weti kuna zitsola: weti vingila mimbutu mi ntoto. Weti kumivibidila nate miela nokono zimvula zitheti ayi zindolo.
Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Look, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain.
8 Nyinga, beno mamveno, bika luvibidila. Bika lukindisa mintima mieno bila Pfumu weka nduka kuiza.
You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.
9 Zikhomba, mutu kabika niunguta mu diambu di khombꞌandi muingi lubika sambusu. Tala zuzi telimini va muelo.
Do not grumble, brothers, against one another, so that you won't be judged. Look, the judge stands at the door.
10 Mu diambu di zaba vibidila mu ziphasi, lufueti sokudila mimbikudi miomi mibikula mu dizina di Pfumu.
Take, brothers, for an example of suffering and of patience, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
11 Bila tulembo tubi ti khini kuidi batu bobo bazebi vibidila. Keti luwaphila yoyi Yobi kavibidila ziphasi ziozi kamona ayi luzebi tsukulu mbi Pfumu kamvangila; bila Pfumu widi nkua mamboti ayi weti mona batu kiadi.
Look, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
12 Bakhomba baama, mu mambu moso lumvanga; lubika leva ndefi mu dizinadi diyilu, mu dizina di ntoto voti mu diambu dinkaka. Vayi bika “Nyinga” dieno yibanga kaka “nyinga” ayi “Nana” dieno yibanga kaka “nana” muingi lubika bua ku tsi thumbudulu.
But above all things, my brothers, do not swear, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath; but let your "yes" be "yes," and your "no," "no;" so that you do not fall under judgment.
13 Enati vadi mutu buna luidi wummona phasi, buna bika kasambila. Enati vadi mutu wumona khini, bika kayimbila minkunga.
Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone cheerful? He should sing praises.
14 Enati vadi mutu buna luidi wumbela, buna bika katumisa bakulutu ba Dibundu muingi bansambidila ayi bamvinda mafuta mu dizina di Pfumu.
Is anyone among you sick? He should call for the elders of the church, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
15 Buna lusambulu lolo lusambudulu mu minu luela vukisa mbevo ayi buna Pfumu wela kuntelimisa. Ayi enati masumu kavola buna wela lemvokolo.
And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
16 Lukikininanga masumu meno kuidi badieno; bosi lusambidilanga badieno muingi lubeluka. Bila lusambulu, lu mutu wusonga, lubeki zingolo ziwombo zivangila mambu mawombo.
Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
17 Eli wuba mutu banga beto, vayi wusambila mu bufula muingi mvula yibika buela noka; buna mvula yisia buela noka ko va ntoto mu tezo ki mimvu mitatu ayi zingonda zisambanu.
Elijah was a human being with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.
18 Bosi wubuela sambila diaka buna mvula yibuela noka ayi ntoto wubuela buta mimbutu miandi.
He prayed again, and the sky gave rain, and the earth brought forth its fruit.
19 Bakhomba baama, enati vadi mutu buna luidi wuzimbala mu mambuma kiedika vayi mutu wunkaka wunsadisidi mu kumvutula mu nzila,
My brothers, if any among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back,
20 buna bika luzaba ti woso mutu wela vutula nkua masumu mu nzila yoyi kedi kazimbidila buna wela kumvukisa mu lufua ayi masumu mawombo mela lemvokolo.
let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death, and will cover a multitude of sins.
