< Ephesians 5 >

1 Sumbu luidi bana bobo Nzambi keta zola, bika lusokudila Tata.
Learn then to imitate God as his beloved children,
2 Ayi ludiatila mu luzolo banga bu tuzodila Klisto bu kakiyekula niandi veka kuidi Nzambi mu diambu dieto banga malasi ma tsudi yi kitoko ayi banga dikaba.
and to lead lives of love, just as Christ also loved you and gave himself up for you, an offering and sacrifice unto God, for you, an offering and sacrifice unto God, for "an odor of sweetness."
3 Kitsuza ayi zitsumukunu zinkaka zi phila mu phila ayi zitsatu mu baka bima bi phila mu phila, zibika monika mu beno boso buididi bufuana kuidi banlongo.
As for sexual vice and every kind of impurity or lust, it is unbecoming for you as Christians even to mention them;
4 Ka diambu ko mambu matsoni, mambu ma buvungisi ayi malueya mabika monika mu beno bila masi fuana kuidi beno ko. Vayi bika, mu mambu meno, luzaba vutudilanga Nzambi matondo.
so too with vulgarity and buffoonery and foolish jesting. Such words become you not, but rather thanksgiving.
5 Bila luzebi kueno ti nkua kitsuza, nsumuki voti mutu wunzolanga baka bima bi phila mu phila (niandi dedikini ayi mutu wunsambilangabitumba) kalendi baka kiuka ko mu kipfumu ki Klisto ayi ki Nzambi.
For be well assured that no one guilty of fornication or impurity or covetousness which is idolatry, has any heritage in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Mutu kabika kuluvuna mu mambu ma phamba. Bila mu diambu di mambu ma phila yoyo, nganzi yi Nzambi yeta buila batu bobo bazolanga ko kuntumukina.
Let no man deceive you with empty arguments, for it is these vices that bring down the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience;
7 Diawu kadi fubakana ayi batu ba phila yoyo.
therefore do not become sharers with them.
8 Bila bubedi, beno lubedi tombi vayi buabu lueka kiezila mu Pfumu. Bika ludiatila banga bana bakiezila!
For you were once darkness, but are now in the Lord.
9 Bila kiezila kimbutanga mamboti, busonga ayi kiedika.
Lead the life of children of light, for the fruit of the light consists in every kind of goodness and uprightness and truth.
10 Luzaba sobulanga mambu moso meti monisanga Pfumu khini.
Examine carefully what is well pleasing to the Lord,
11 Lubika fubakana mu mavanga ma tombi; momo mabutanga ko makundivayi bika lutumbudila mawu.
and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of the darkness, but rather expose them.
12 Bila mambu momo beta vanga mu kitsueki, tsoni madi mu yolukila mawu.
For it is a shame even to speak of the things that are done by such men in secret;
13 Vayi kiezila bu kiela totula mambu moso va nganda buna bosi mela monika.
but all these things, when exposed, are by the light made manifest, and what is made manifest is light.
14 Kiezila kiawu kintotulanga bima bioso va nganda. Diawu beta tubila ti: Kotuka kuaku ngeyo wulembo leki tulu; fuluka mu tsi bafua, ayi Klisto wela ku kienzula.
For this reason it is said, "Awake, thou sleeper! Arise from the dead; And Christ shall shine upon thee!"
15 Diawu, lukeba mu diambu di phila yoyo lufueti diatila mu bufuana. Lubika ba banga bivungisi, vayi bika luba batu badiela.
See to it, then, that you carry on your life carefully; not as foolish, but as wise men.
16 Muaki lusadila thangu, bila bilumbu bi tueka bieka bimbimbi.
Buy up opportunity, for the times are evil.
17 Diawu lubika ba banga bivungisi vayi lusudika bumboti boso buididiluzolo lu Pfumu.
For this reason do not be thoughtless, but learn to know what the Lord’s will is.
18 Lubika kolongo malavu, bila mu mawu mueti totukila divunzi vayi bika luba bawala mu Pheve.
Do not be drunk with wine, in which is riotous living, but drink deep in the Spirit,
19 Bika lukikindisanga mu minkunga mikubuku, mu minkunga mi sanisinaayi mu minkunga mi kipheve. Luyimbila ayi lusanisina Pfumu mu mintimamieno mimvimba.
when you talk together; with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and with all your hearts making music unto the Lord;
20 Mu zithangu zioso, luvutudilanga Nzambi Tata matondo mu mambu mamo mu dizina di Pfumuꞌeto Yesu Klisto.
and at all times for all things give thanks to God, the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
21 Bika kadika mutu kakinzika ndiandi mu diambu di lukinzu luidi yeno mu Klisto.
Submit yourselves one to another out of reverence for Christ.
22 Beno baketo, lukinzika babakala beno banga bu lueta kinzikila Pfumu.
Wives likewise to their husbands as to the Lord,
23 Bila bakala niandi Pfumu yi nketo banga Klisto bu kadidi Pfumu yi Dibundu, nituꞌandi. Niandi Mvulusi wu dibundu beni.
because a husband is the head of his wife even as Christ is head of the church, his body, which he saves.
24 Sumbu Dibundu didi ku tsi minsua mi Klisto, buawu bobo baketobafueti bedla ku tsi minsua mi babakala bawu mu mambu moso.
But as the church submits itself to Christ, so also wives to their husbands in everything.
25 Beno babakala, luzola baketo beno banga Klisto bu kazodila Dibundu, bila wukiyekula mu diambu di Dibundu beni,
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her,
26 muingi kadikitula di nlongo mu mambu mandi ayi di vedila bu kamanisa ku disukula mu nlangu,
in order that after cleansing her in the bath of baptism, he might sanctify her by his word,
27 muingi kadimonisa kuidi niandi veka, Dibundu di kitoko, dikambulu ditona di mvindu, dikambulu minkanza, voti dikambulu diambu di phila yoyi vayi didi dinlongo ayi dikambulu tsembolo.
so as to present her to himself, the church glorified, without spot or wrinkle or any such blemish; but on the contrary holy and faultless.
28 Bobuawu babakala bafueti zola baketo bawu banga bu beta zodila zinitu ziawu. Bila bakala diodi dieta zola nketo andi buna weta kukizola niandi veka.
That is how husbands ought to love their wives, as they love their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
29 Bila kuisi ko mutu weta lenda nitu andi. Vayi wukuyidikilanga, wukuyikebanga banga Klisto bu keta kebila Dibundu,
For no man ever yet hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it as Christ does the church;
30 bila beto tuidi binama bi nitu andi.
for we are members of his body.
31 Diawu bakala kela bikila dise diandi ayi ngudi andi mu diambu di bundana ayi nketo andi, ayi, bawu buadi bela kituka nitu yimosi.
For this cause shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 Disuama diodi didi dinneni; vayi ndinyolukila mu diambu di Klisto ayi dibundu.
There is a deep mystery here - I am speaking of Christ and his church.
33 Vayi mu diambu dieno, bika kadika bakala kazola nketo andi bangabu keta kukizodila niandi veka ayi kadika nketo kakinzika bakala diandi.
But as for you individually, you must each one of you love his own wife exactly as if she were yourself; and the wife, on her part, should reverence her husband.
