< Ephesians 2 >

1 Mu thama beno bu luba bafua mu zinzimbala zieno ayi mu masumu meno;
And you hath he made alive who were dead in trespasses and sins,
2 mu mawu beno ludiatila boso buididi ntoto wawu ayi boso buididi Pfumu yi lulendo lu mbimbi, pheve yinsalanga mu batu badi matingu. (aiōn g165)
in which ye formerly walked after the manner of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that still operates in the children of disobedience: (aiōn g165)
3 Beto mamveto, tuba banga bawu; tuzingila boso bubela zinzinunu zieto zi kinsuni ayi tudukisa luzolo lu nsuni ayi lu mayindu meto. Mu kimutu beto tuba batu bobo zinganzi zi Nzambi zifueti buila banga batu bankaka.
among whom also we were all conversant heretofore in our carnal desires, indulging the appetites of the flesh and of our imaginations; and were by nature children of wrath, even as others.
4 Vayi Nzambi nkua kimvuama mu kiadi mu diambu di luzolo lunneni lolokatuzodila;
But God being rich in mercy, through his great love wherewith He loved us,
5 wutuzingisa va kimosi ayi Klisto; beto bobo tuba bafua mu diambu di zinzimbala zieto. Mu nlemvo luvukila.
hath made us alive in Christ, even when we were dead in trespasses, (for by grace ye are saved) and hath raised us up together,
6 Wutufulukisa va kimosi ayi niandi ayi wutuvuandisa va kimosi, mu Diyilu, mu Klisto Yesu
and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
7 mu diambu katumonisa mu zitsungi ziela kuiza bunneni bu kimvuama ki nlemvo andi mu diambu di mamboti mandi kuidi beto mu Klisto Yesu. (aiōn g165)
That in the ages to come He might shew the superabundant riches of his grace, in his kindness towards us through Christ Jesus. (aiōn g165)
8 Bila mu nlemvo luvukila; mu nzila yi minu. Luvulusu beni lusia ba kuidi beno ko vayi didi dikaba di Nzambi.
For by grace ye are saved, through faith: and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not by works, that no one may boast:
9 Bika sia ti mu mavanga luvukila muingi mutu kabika kuandi kukiniemisa.
for we are his workmanship,
10 Bila beto tuidi bivangu biandi; tuvangu mu Klisto Yesu mu diambu di vanganga mavanga mamboti momo Nzambi kakubika tona thama muingi tusadila mawu.
created in Christ Jesus unto good works, for which God before prepared us, that we might walk in them.
11 Diawu, lutebuka moyo ti beno luba Bapakanu mu nsuni, baba kulutedilanga batu bakambu zengo kuidi bobo baba tedilanga bazengo. Nzengolo beni yivangimina, mu nitu, mu mioko mi batu.
Wherefore remember that ye were formerly Gentiles in the flesh, called uncircumcision by that which is called circumcision made by hands in the flesh;
12 Lutebuka moyo ti mu thangu beni, beno luba bavambana ayi Klisto, lusia ba minsua mu vuanda mu divula di Iseli ko bila luba banzenza mu zinguizani ziozi zivanunu tsila; luba batu basobolo kuidi Nzambi ko bila luba banzenza mu zinguizani zi Nzambi zivanunu tsila; luba batu bakambulu diana ayi bakambulu Nzambi va ntoto.
and ye were at that time without Christ, aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: but now in Christ Jesus,
13 Vayi buabu, mu Klisto Yesu; beno lutuama ba thama ayi Nzambi vayi luyikidi bafikama mu diambu di menga matengula Klisto.
ye, who were formerly afar off, are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 Bila niandi ndembama yeto. Niandi wukitula Bayuda ayi Bapakanumutu wumosi ayi niandi wutiolumuna baka ki kithatu kioki kiba vambisa.
For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and removed the wall of partition from between us;
15 Bila mu nsuni andi niandi wuvonda mina va kimosi ayi zithumunu ziandiayi minsiku miandi. Diodi divangimina mu diambu di vanga mu niandi veka mutu wumosi wumona wuntotukila mu batu buadi. Buawu bobo kakotisila ndembama.
having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that He might form the two into one new man, in Himself, so making peace;
16 Mu diambu kabaka bu vutudila, mu nzila yi dikulusi, nguizani yi bawu buadi mu nitu yimosi kuidi Nzambi bu kavondila kimbeni kiawu va dikulusi.
and that He might reconcile both in one body unto God, by the cross, having thereby slain the enmity:
17 Klisto wuyiza ayi wusamuna ndembama kuidi beno luba thama ayi wusamuna ndembama kuidi bobo baba bafikama.
and He came and preached peace to you that were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18 Bila, mu diambu diandi, beto yawu tubeki minsua mu kota kuidi Tata mu Pheve yimosi.
For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
19 Diawu, beno lusiedi diaka banzenza ko voti minkibi ko, vayi lueka buabu basi tsi va kimosi ayi banlongo ayi basi nzo yi Nzambi.
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the houshold of God;
20 Beno lutungu va yilu fundasio yi bamvuala ayi mimbikudi. Yesu Klisto, niandi ditadi di mfunu di fuma.
being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner-stone:
21 Mu niandi nzo yoso yibundusulu va kimosi ayi yilembo yundukamu diambu yiba Nzo yi Nzambi yinlongo mu Pfumu.
in whom the whole building fitly joined together increaseth to an holy temple in the Lord:
22 Ayi mu niandi, beno lulembo tungulu va kimosi mu diambu lukituka nzo yimvuandanga Nzambi mu Pheve.
in whom ye also are built up together for an habitation of God by the Spirit.
