< Acts 3 >

1 Lumbu kimosi mu thangu yintatu yi masika, Piela ayi Yowani bayenda ku lusambulu ku Nzo Nzambi.
Now Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
2 Banata mutu wuba dikoka tona kabutuka. Baba kuntulanga kadika lumbuva muelo Nzo Nzambi, wowo wuba ntedolongo: “Muelo kitoko” mu diambu di lombanga lusadusu kuidi batu bobo baba kotanga mu Nzo Nzambi.
Now a man lame from birth was being carried every day to the Beautiful gate of temple, so he could ask people who were going into the temple for a gift of money.
3 Mutu beni bu kamona ti Piela ayi Yowani beka kota mu nzo Nzambi, wuba lomba lusadusu.
When he saw Peter and John about to enter the temple, he asked them for a gift of money.
4 Piela ayi Yowani bansungimina kuntala, bosi Piela wunkamba: —Wututadi!
Peter, fastening his eyes upon him, with John, said, “Look at us.”
5 Dikoka beni dieka batala, dibanzila ti beka kumvana lusadusu.
The lame man looked at them, expecting to receive something from them.
6 Vayi Piela wutuba: —Ndisi kadi palata ko voti nolo ko bikuvana vayi biobi bidi yama ndieka kuvana biawu: Mu dizina di Yesu Klisto, muisi Nazaleti, telama ayi diata kuaku!
But Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, I will give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”
7 Bu kansimba mu koko ku lubakala, wuntelimisa. Mu yina yawu thangu, bitambi biandi ayi bikodi biandi bikinda.
Taking him by the right hand, Peter raised him up, and immediately the man's feet and ankle were made strong.
8 Wudumuka, wutelama ayi wudiata. Wukota yawu va kimosimu Nzo Nzambi, wundiata, wundumuka ayi wunkembisa Nzambi.
Leaping up, the lame man stood and began to walk; and he entered with Peter and John into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.
9 Batu boso bammona wulembo diati ayi wulembo kembisa Nzambi.
All the people saw him walking and praising God.
10 Bazaba ti niandi wuba mvuandanga va “muelo kitoko” wu Nzo Nzambi. Batu basimina, bamona tsisi bu bamona mambu momo mavangama mu niandi.
They noticed that it was the man who had been asking people for a gift of money at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement because of what had happened to him.
11 Mutu beni bu kasimbidila Piela ayi Yowani; buna batu boso basimina, bazawula ku baba ku ndambu yi nzo yiba ntedilanga “Velanda yi Solomo”.
As he was holding on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly marveling.
12 Piela bu kamona bobo, wukamba batu: —A beno basi Iseli, bila mbi lulembo siminina mu diambu diadi e? Voti bila mbi lulembo tutadila bobo banga ti mu lulendo lueto veka ayi mu buvedila bueto tutelimisini mutu beni e?
When Peter saw this, he answered the people, “You men of Israel, why do you marvel? Why do you fix your eyes on us, as if we had made him to walk by our own power or godliness?
13 Nzambi yi Abalahami, yi Isaki, yi Yakobi ayi Nzambi yi bakulu beto niandi wukembisidi kisadi kiandi Yesu, diodi beno luyekula ayi diodi lutunuka va ntuala Pilatu mu thangu kabaka lukanu lu kunyekula.
The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. He is the one whom you delivered up and rejected before the face of Pilate, when he had decided to release him.
14 Vayi beno lutunuka mutu wunlongo ayi wu busonga, vayi beno luzola ti baluyekudila mvondi.
You rejected the Holy and Righteous One, and you asked instead for a murderer to be released to you.
15 Beno luvondisa tho yi Luzingu, yoyi Nzambi kafulukisa mu bafua. Beto tuidi bambangi ba mambu momo.
You killed the Founder of life, whom God raised from the dead—and we are witnesses of this.
16 Mu minu mu dizina diandi, mutu wawu wu lulembo moni ayi wu luzebi, kabakidi zingolo. Mu dizina di Yesu ayi mu minu kioki kidi mu niandi mutu wawu kabelukididi banga bu lulembo monina beno boso.
Now, by faith in his name—this man whom you see and know—this same name made him strong. The faith that is through Jesus gave to him this complete health in the presence of all of you.
17 Buabu bakhomba ziama, nzebi ti beno ayi bapfumu beno luvangila buawu mu kambu ku zaba, beno ayi bapfumu zieno.
Now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
18 Vayi Nzambi wudedikisa mambu momo katuba mu mimbikudi miosoti Klisto andi kafueti mona phasi.
But the things which God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ should suffer, he has now fulfilled.
19 Lubalula mavanga meno ayi luvutuka kuidi Nzambi muingi masumu meno malemvokolo.
Repent, therefore, and turn, so that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come periods of refreshing from the presence of the Lord;
20 Buna Pfumu wela kuluvana zithangu zivundila ayi wela kulufidisila Yesu: Klisto mutu wowo kalukubikila tona thama.
and that he may send the Christ who has been appointed for you, Jesus.
21 Vayi kafueti tuama vuanda ku Diyilu nate mu thangu mambu moso mela kituka mamona banga bobo buyolukila Nzambi mu miunu mi mimbikudi miandi minlongo. (aiōn g165)
He is the One heaven must receive until the time of the restoration of all things, about which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets. (aiōn g165)
22 Moyize wutuba thama ti: Pfumu, Nzambi eno, wela kulutotudila mbikudi va khatitsika bakhomba zieno banga minu. Beno luela kunwa mu mambu moso, momo kalenda kulukamba.
Moses indeed said, 'The Lord God will raise up a prophet like me from among your brothers. You shall listen to everything that he will speak to you.
23 Ayi vela ba ti woso mutu wela kambu wila mbikudi wowo, wela zimbukusu va khatitsika di batu.
It will happen that every person who does not listen to that prophet will be completely destroyed from among the people.'
24 Ayi mimbikudi mioso nkutu tona Samueli nate mimbikudi mioso minlandakana, bayolukila bilumbu biabi.
Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those who came after him, they spoke out and announced these days.
25 Beno luidi bana ba mimbikudi ayi bana ba Nguizani yoyi Nzambi kawizinina ayi bakulu beto bu kakamba Abalahami ti: mu nkunꞌaku makanda moso ma ntoto mela sakumunu.
You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, as he said to Abraham, 'In your seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.'
26 Mu diambu dieno theti Nzambi kafulukisila kisadi kiandi mu bafua. Wuntuma muingi kalusakumuna ayi kabotula kadika mutu, mu beno, mu masumu.
After God raised up his servant, he sent him to you first, in order to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.”
