< Acts 2 >

1 Lumbu ki Pantekoti bu kidedakana, babo bakutakana va kimosi.
And on the day of Pentecost they were all together in one place.
2 Zimbukila biyoko bingolo biba ku diyilu banga vuka ki ngolo, bimana wasa mu nzo yoso yi baba.
And suddenly there came out of heaven a sound, as of a rushing mighty wind; and it filled the whole house where they were sitting;
3 Bosi minlaki mi mbazu mivasuka, miba monikina, mitelama va mbata mintu miawu.
and there appeared to them tongues as of fire, distributing themselves; and one sat upon each of them.
4 Batu boso bamana wala mu Pheve Yinlongo; ayi batona yolukazimbembo bankaka, boso Pheve Yinlongo kaba kuba yolukisila.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, even as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 Bayuda bawombo baba kinzikanga Mina mi Nzambi baba mu zitsi zioso zi ntoto bayiza ku Yelusalemi.
Now there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven.
6 Biyoko bina bu bitembakana, nkangu wu batu wukutakana ayi wusimina mu mona ti kadika mutu wulembo wa mu mbembo andi.
And when this sound took place, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because every one heard them speaking in his own language.
7 Basimina buwombo ayi bakiyuvula bawu na bawu: —Tala, batu boso bobo bantuba basi ko basi Ngalili e?
And they were amazed, and marveled, saying, Behold, are not all these who speak Galilaeans?
8 Vayi buevi, beto boso, tulembo wila kadika mutu mu yandi mbembo, yoyi kabutukila e?
and how is it that we every one hear them in our own language, wherein we were born?
9 Bila vava vadi basi Palitesi, basi Medesi, basi Elami, ayi beto tumvuandanga mu Mezopotami, basi Yuda, basi Kapadose, basi Ponti, basi Azi,
Parthians and Medes and Elamites, and those who inhabit Mesopotamia, Judaea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
10 basi Filizi, basi Pamfili, basi Ezipite, basi zunga ki Libi kioki kifikimini ayi Silene, bosi beto basi Loma, tumvuandanga vava;
Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and Romans who sojourn here, both Jews and Proselytes,
11 Bayuda ayi banzenza bankaka zikituka Bayuda, basi Kelete, basi Alabi; tulembo kuba wi balembo samuna mambu manneni ma Nzambi.
Cretans and Arabians—how is it that we hear them speaking in our tongues the wonderful works of God?
12 Babo basimina ayi bayuvasana: “Diambu diadi mbi dinsundula e?”
And they were all amazed and were in doubt, saying one to another, What can this mean?
13 Vayi bankaka baba nseva, batuba: “A beno keti vinu bakololo!”
Others making sport of it, said, They are full of new wine.
14 Bosi Piela wutelama ayi kumi mvuala wumosi, wuvumbula mbembo, wuba kamba: —Beno basi Yuda ayi beno boso lumvuandanga mu Yelusalemi, bika luzaba diambu diadi ayi luteka matu mu mambu mama.
But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said to them, Men of Judea, and all that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known to you, and hearken to my words.
15 Batu baba basi kolo vinu ko banga bu lulembo yindudila bila tukidi kueto mu thangu yi vua yi nsuka.
For these are not drunken, as ye suppose; for it is the third hour of the day;
16 Vayi mambu mama mawu mambu mabikula mbikudi Yoweli:
but this is what was spoken through the prophet Joel,
17 Nzambi wutuba ti: Tala mambu mela ba mu bilumbu bi tsuka: ndiela dukula Pheve ama Yinlongo mu batu boso, bana beno babakala ayi babaketo bela bikula, bamatoko meno mela mona zitsongolo, bosi biboba bieno biela lota zindozi.
“It shall be in the last days, saith God, that I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy, and your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams;
18 Nyinga, mu bilumbu bina, ndiela dukula Pheve ama Yinlongo mu bisadi biama, bibaketo ayi bi babakala ayi bela bikula;
and even on my servants, and on my handmaids, I will pour out of my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.
19 Ndiela vanga bikumu mu matuti, mu diyilu. Ndiela monisa bidimbu va mbata ntoto: Menga, mbazu ayi muisi;
And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke;
20 thangu yela kituka tombi, bosi ngondi yela kituka menga. Mawu mambu mela monika tuamina lumbu ki Pfumu, lumbu kinneni ayi ki nkembo;
the sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the day of the Lord cometh, the great and notable day.
21 ayi buela, woso mutu wela tela dizina di Pfumu wela vuka.
And it shall be that every one that calleth on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
22 A beno basi Iseli, wanu mambu mama: Yesu muisi Nazaleti, mutu wowo Nzambi kalumonisa ayi kakikinina va meso meno mu bikumu, mu mambu manneni ayi mu bidimbu biobi Nzambi kavangila mu mioko miandi va khatitsikꞌeno, banga kuandi bu luzebi buawu
Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus the Nazarene, a man approved of God to you by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God wrought by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves know, —
23 baluyekudila niandi boso bubela mayindu ma Nzambi ayi boso bubela lukanu lukakikanina. Beno lumbanda va dikulusi ayi lumvondisa mu mioko mi bankua masumu.
this man, being delivered up by the settled purpose and foreknowledge of God, ye, by the hand of godless men, crucified and slew.
24 Nzambi wumfulukisa ayi wunkula mu mianga mi lufua bila lufua lusia ba kadi lulendo ko mu kunsimbidila.
But God raised him up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that he should be held by it.
25 Bila Davidi wutuba mu diambu diandi: Minu ndimona mu zithangu zioso Pfumu ku ntualꞌama. Bila widi va koko kuama ku lubakala muingi ndibika nikunu.
For David saith concerning him, “I saw the Lord always before me; because he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved.
26 Diawu ntimꞌama wumona monina khini ayi ludimi luama lumona moni khini ayi nitu ama yela vundila mu diana dioso.
Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue exulted; moreover also, my flesh shall dwell in hope;
27 Bila wulendi yekula ko muelꞌama wusiala ku tsi yi bafua, ayi wulendi kikinina ko ti nitu yi kisadi kiaku kinlongo yi bola. (Hadēs g86)
because thou wilt not abandon my soul to the underworld, nor wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
28 Ngeyo wumbonisa zinzila zi luzingu. Bosi wela ku mbonisa khini yiwombo bu wela kumbengudila thalu aku.
Thou didst make known to me the ways of life; thou wilt make me full of joy with thy countenance.”
29 A bakhomba ziama, bika ndilukamba mu kambu memata mu diambudi nkulu eto Davidi, niandi wufua ayi wuziku. Ziami kiandi kidinate lumbu kiaki.
Brethren, I may speak to you with freedom of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is among us to this day.
30 Bu kaba mbikudi, ayi bu kazaba ti Nzambi wunlevila ndefi ti wela vuandisa va kundu kiandi ki kipfumu mutu wowo wela totukila mu nkunꞌandi,
Being then a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn to him with an oath that he would set one sprung from his loins upon his throne,
31 buna niandi wukimuena ayi wuyolukila mfulukulu yi Klisto. Wutuba ti: kasia yekolo ko mu tsi yi bafua ayi nitu andi yisia bola ko. (Hadēs g86)
he foresaw and spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that neither was he abandoned to the underworld, nor did his flesh see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
32 Yesu beni, Nzambi wumfulukisa. Beto boso tuidi bambangi mu diambu diodi.
This Jesus God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Bosi wutombolo mu diambu di vuanda va koko ku lubakala ku Nzambi, ayi, wutambula kuidi Tata Pheve Yinlongo yivanunu tsila; buna niandi wutembikisa mambu lulembo moni ayi lulembo wi.
Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit, he hath poured forth this, which ye both see and hear.
34 Bila Davidi kasia kuenda ku Diyilu ko, vayi niandi veka wutuba: Pfumu wukamba kuidi Pfumuꞌama: Vuandila va koko kuama ku lubakala,
For David did not ascend into the heavens; but he himself saith, The Lord said to my lord, “Sit thou on my right hand,
35 nate ndiela mana tula bambeni ziaku zioso ku tsi malu maku!
until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”
36 Bika Iseli dioso dizaba mu bukiedika ti Yesu beni diodi lubanda va dikulusi Nzambi wunkitudi Pfumu ayi Klisto!
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.
37 Bu bawa mambu mama, mintima miawu miluala; diawu bayuvudila Piela va kimosi ayi bamvuala bankaka: —A bakhomba, a mbi tuvanga e?
And when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what must we do?
38 Piela wuba vutudila: —Lubalula mavanga! Bika kadika mutu mu beno kabotama mu dizina di Yesu Klisto mu diambu di ndemvokolo yi masumu. Buna luela tambula dikaba di Pheve Yinlongo.
But Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized to the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins, and ye will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 Bila tsila beni yidi mu diambu dieno, mu diambu di bana beno ayi mu diambu di baboso badi thama, babo bobo Pfumu eto Nzambi kela tela mbila.
For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all that are afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40 Piela wubuela kuba kamba diaka mambu mawombo muingi bawilukila ayi wuba kindisa ti: —Bika lukivukisa mu tsungi yayi yi mbimbi.
And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this perverse generation.
41 Babo bobo bawilukila mambu ma Piela babotama. Mu lumbu kina nduka-nduka mili tatu zi batu zi buelama.
They therefore received his word, and were baptized; and there were added on that day about three thousand souls.
42 Buna bazingila ngolo mu landakananga malongi ma bamvuala, ayi mu kithuadi, mu ndiwulu dipha ayi mu zitsambulu.
And they were constantly attending on the teaching of the apostles, and the imparting [[of their substance]], the breaking of bread, and the prayers.
43 Baboso bamona boma; bamvuala bavanga mambu manneni ayi bikumu.
And fear came upon every soul; and many wonders and signs were wrought through the apostles.
44 Batu boso bawilukila baba kalanga va buangu kimosi ayi batula bima bioso mu kithuadi.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 Baba sumbisanga mintoto miawu ayi bima biawu ayi baba kabulanga kuidi batu babo boso bubela minkiza mi kadika mutu.
and they sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as any one had need.
46 Bilumbu bioso, mu kithuadi kimosi baba kutakananga mu Nzo Nzambi, baba dianga mapha mu zinzo ziawu, baba dianga bidia biawu mu khini ayi mu kukikulula koso.
And attending daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread in a private house, they partook of their food with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Baba kembisanga Nzambi ayi batu boso baba zola. Kadika lumbu Pfumu wuba kuba buelanga batu bobo baba mvukanga.
praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were in the way of salvation.
