2 Timothy 1
1 Polo, mvuala wu Yesu Klisto mu luzolo lu Nzambi, boso buididi tsila yi luzingu yidi mu Klisto Yesu,
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, through the will of God, according to a promise of life that [is] in Christ Jesus,
2 mfidisidi nkanda wawu kuidi Timote muanꞌama wu luzolo. Bika nlemvo, mamboti ayi ndembama bibedi kuidi Nzambi Tata ayi kuidi Klisto Yesu, Pfumu eto, bibanga yaku.
to Timotheus, beloved child: Grace, kindness, peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord!
3 Ndimvutula matondo kuidi Nzambi yoyi ndieta sadila mu mayindu ma ntima wuvedila banga busila bakulu bama; bila builu ayi muini ndikutebukilanga moyo, mu zithangu zioso mu zindombolo ziama.
I am thankful to God, whom I serve from progenitors in a pure conscience, that I unceasingly have remembrance concerning you in my supplications night and day,
4 Phuila yiwombo yidi yama mu kumona, bu ndieti tebukila matsuela maku moyo, muingi ndibuela mona khini.
desiring to see you greatly, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy,
5 Ndizimbakananga ko minu kikiedika kidi mu ngeyo; ayi kioki kituama ba mu khayꞌaku yi nketo mama Loyisi ayi mu ngudi aku Ewunise. Tsidi diana ti kidi mu ngeyo.
taking remembrance of the unhypocritical faith that is in you, that first dwelt in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded that also in you.
6 Diawu ndikutebudila moyo muingi wuluta buela lemisa dikaba di Nzambi didi mu ngeyo; diodi wutambula bu nditetika mioko miama
For which cause I remind you to stir up the gift of God that is in you through the putting on of my hands,
7 bila Nzambi kasia kutuvana Pheve yi boma-boma ko vayi wutuvana pheve yi lulendo, yi luzolo ayi yi diela di kukikebila.
for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind;
8 Diawu kadi mona tsoni mu telama kimbangi mu diambu di Pfumu eto voti mu diambu diama bu ndidi mu nloko mu diambu diandi. Vayi bika wufubakana yama mu ziphasi mu diambu di Nsamu wumboti boso buididi lulendo lu Nzambi.
therefore you may not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but you suffer evil along with the good news according to the power of God,
9 Bila niandi wutuvukisa ayi wututela mu mbila yinlongo; bika sia ti boso bubela mavanga meto vayi boso bu bela lukanu luandi veka ayi nlemvo andi wowo katuvana mu Klisto Yesu tuamina thonono yi zithangu. (aiōnios g166)
who saved us, and called with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, that was given to us in Christ Jesus, before the times of the ages, (aiōnios g166)
10 Vayi buabu wutumonisa wawu bumboti mu ntangu Pfumu eto Yesu Klisto kayiza; bila niandi wukosikisa lulendo lu lufua, wukienzula luzingu ayi biobi kabifuanga ko mu nzila yi Nsamu Wumbote.
and was made visible now through the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who indeed abolished death, and enlightened life and immortality through the good news,
11 Mu diambu di Nsamu Wumbo ti beni wawu ndibiekolo nsamuni, mvuala ayi nlongi kuidi Bapakanu.
to which I was placed a preacher and an apostle, and a teacher of nations,
12 Ayi diawu ndilembo monina ziphasi ziazi vayi ndikadi mona tsoni mu diambu nzebi mutu wowo ndiwilukila ayi diana tsidi ti lulendo luidi yandi mu keba mambu moso momo ndiyekudulu nate mu lumbu kina.
for which cause these things I also suffer, but I am not ashamed, for I have known in whom I have believed, and have been persuaded that He is able to guard that which I have committed to Him—to that day.
13 Kebanga bumboti mambu ma kiedika momo wuwa kuidi minu mu minu ayi mu luzolo luidi mu Klisto Yesu.
Hold the pattern of sound words, which you heard from me, in faith and love that [is] in Christ Jesus;
14 Lundanga bumbote, mu lusadusu lu Pheve Yinlongo mu beto, mambu mambote momo wuyekudulu.
guard the good thing committed through the Holy Spirit that is dwelling in us;
15 Ngeyo zebi ti batu boso badi mu Azi bandoza, mu bawu muidi Fingele ayi Elimongene.
you have known this, that they turned from me—all those in Asia, of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes;
16 Bika Pfumu kawokisa mamboti mandi mu nzo yi Onesifole, bila niandi wuba kumbombanga buwombo ayi kasia mona tsoni ko mu diambu di zisieni ziama.
may the LORD give kindness to the house of Onesiphorus, because he refreshed me many times, and was not ashamed of my chain,
17 Vayi bu kaba ku Loma, wuthomba mu bufula ayi wumbakula.
but being in Rome, he sought me very diligently and found [me];
18 Bika Pfumu kamvana diluaku ditambudila mamboti ma Pfumu mu lumbu kina. Ngeyo lutidi zaba phila yoyi katsadisila mu mambu mawombo bu ndiba ku Efeso.
may the LORD give to him to find kindness from the LORD in that day; and you very well know how much he ministered in Ephesus.
