< 2 Peter 3 >
1 Bakundi bama, wawu nkanda wummuadi ndieka kulusonikina. Mu wowo wutheti ayi mu wawu ndintomba kotula diela dieno divedila mu kulutebula moyo mu mambu mama
This second epistle, beloved, I now write to you; in [both] which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 muingi lutebukila moyo mambu momo matubu thama kuidi mimbikudi minlongo ayi lutebukila moyo lutumunu lu Pfumu ayi Mvulusi eto, lolo baluvana kuidi mimvuala mieno.
That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Savior:
3 Muaki lufueti zaba ti mu bilumbu bi tsuka minsekinini miela kuiza, miela diatila mu mvuezolo boso buididi zitsatu ziawu. Miela tuba
Knowing this first, that there will come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 “A kuevi kuidi tsila yi ndizulu andi bila tona bakulu bafua bima bioso bidi vana vawu; vana thonono yi ntoto.”
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation.
5 Bila batidi zimbakala mu luzolo diambu diadi: mu thama Nzambi wuvangila diyilu ayi ntoto mu Mambu mandi; ntoto beni wutotukila mu nlangu ayi wuvangulu mu nlangu.
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Ntoto wu thangu yina wubungu mu thangu nlangu wudiamisa ntoto beni.
By which the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 Vayi diyilu ayi ntoto bi thangu yayi bilembo lundu kuidi mambu mandi muingi biba yekolo ku mbazu. Bilembo lundu mu diambu di lumbu ki tsambusu ayi lumbu ki bunga batu bankambu kinzikanga Nzambi.
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved to fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 Vayi baki luzolo bama, lubika zimbakana diambu diadi: kuidi Pfumu lumbu kimosi kidi banga mili di mimvu ayi mili di mivmu midi banga lumbu kimosi.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 Pfumu kalendi zingila ko mu dedikisa tsilulu andi banga bueta yindudila batu bankaka. Vayi wulembo kuluvibidila bila kakadi zola ti wumosi kabungana. Vayi wuntomba ti baboso babalula mavanga.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 Muaki lumbu ki Pfumu kiela kuiza banga muivi ayi mu lumbu kina diyilu diela zimbala mu biyoko bingolo ayi bima bi diyilu biela siuta mu mbazu; ntoto ayi mavanga madi muawu mela tumbu zinisu.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein will be burned up.
11 Bu didi ti bima bioso bifueti suita, buna phila batu mbi lufueti ba e? Lufueti ba batu ba khadulu yinlongo ayi beti kinzikanga Nzambi
[Seeing] then [that] all these things will be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy deportment and godliness,
12 bu lulembo vingila lumbu ki Nzambi ayi bu lulembo tudi nsualu muingi kivika fuana. Mu lumbu kina diyilu diodi dilema mbazu diela suita ayi bima bi diyilu biela suita mu mbazu.
Looking for and hasting to the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens being on fire will be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
13 Vayi banga buididi tsilꞌandi, beto tulembo vingila diyilu dimona ayi ntoto wumona; kuna kuidi busonga.
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, in which dwelleth righteousness.
14 Diawu bakiluzolo bama, bu lumvingilanga mambu momo buna bika lunuana muingi kalubata mu ndembama batu bakambulu ditona ayi tsembolo va ntualꞌandi.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found by him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 Lufueti sudika bumbote ti mvibudulu yi Pfumu yawu luvulusu lu batu banga bu lusonikina Polo, khombꞌeto wu luzolo, boso buididi nzayilu yoyo bamvana.
And account [that] the long-suffering of our Lord [is] salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, hath written to you;
16 Wuvanga buawu mu minkanda miandi mioso momo kayolukila mambu momo. Muaki, bukiedika, bitina binkaka phasi bidi mu sudika; biawu biobi bakambulu diela ayi bakambulu bakinda bumbote balembo balula tsundu banga bu beti vangila mu masonoko mankaka mu diambu di mbivusu yawu veka.
As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.
17 Diawu, beno bakiluzolo, lukizabidila mambu mama. Lukeba tala bu luvitumunu mu nzimbala yi batu bambimbi, luedi lebakana mu kinda kueno kuidi yeno.
Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know [these things] before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.
18 Vayi luyunduka mu nlemvo ayi mu nzayilu yi Pfumu eto ayi Mvulusi Yesu Klisto. Bika nkembo wubanga yandi tona buabu nate mu zithangu zioso. Ameni! (aiōn )
But grow in grace, and [in] the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him [be] glory both now and for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
