< 2 Corinthians 10 >
1 Minu Polo, ndikululebila mu ndembama ayi mu mamboti ma Klisto, bankaka beti tuba ti minu nditubanga ko bu ndidi yeno va kimosi vayi bu khambulu yeno va kimosi ndidi mutu wu makhemi.
Now by the mildness and gentleness of Christ, I appeal to you—I, Paul, who am humble when face to face with you, but bold when away.
2 Lundemvukila, bu ndiela kuiza kuidi beno, ndibika sadila makhemimomo thidi sadila batu bobo bambanzanga ti mu kinsuni tueti diatila.
I beg you that when I come I may not need to be as bold as I expect toward those who presume that we live according to the flesh.
3 Ka diambu ko tulembo zingi mu nza vayi tunuaninanga mu kinsuni ko.
For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh.
4 Bila binduanina biobi tueti nuanina mvita yeto bisi bi kinsuni ko vayi biawu bikibela ayi lulendo lu Nzambi mu tulula zinzo zikindusu ngolo.
The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
5 Zinzo beni ziawu zikhanu zimbimbi ayi mambu moso malenda kakidila nzayilu yi Nzambi. Ayi tueti buila mayindu moso ma mutu muingi matumimina Klisto.
We tear down arguments and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
6 Diawu tuidi bakubama mu tumbudila kambu koso ku tumamana mu thangu tumamana kueno kuela duka.
And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, as soon as your obedience is complete.
7 Beno lueta tala mambu boso bu meta monikina. Enati mutu wumbanzanga ti vuiwulu kuidi Klisto; buna bika kazaba ti beto mamveto tuvuiwulu kuidi Klisto.
You are looking at outward appearances. If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ, he should remind himself that we belong to Christ just as much as he does.
8 Ka diambu ko ndilembo kukiniemisa fioti mu diambu di kipfumu kioki Pfumu katuvana mu diambu di kudisa minu kieno, vayi bika sia ti mu diambu di tulula minu kieno, buna ndilendi fua nn tsoni ko
For even if I boast somewhat excessively about the authority the Lord gave us for building you up rather than tearing you down, I will not be ashamed.
9 bila mbengi kuama monika ti banga minu ndikulumonisa tsisi muminkanda miama.
I do not want to seem to be trying to frighten you by my letters.
10 Bila bankaka beti tubanga ti: “Minkanda miandi zitu midi ayi ngolomidi vayi widi mutu wulebakana enati niandi veka widi yeto va kimosi ayi mambu keta yoluka masi kadi mfunu ko.”
For some say, “His letters are weighty and forceful, but his physical presence is unimpressive, and his speaking is of no account.”
11 Mutu wuphila yoyo, bika ti boso bu tueti kulusonikina mu minkanda bu tuidi thama ayi beno buawu buela bela mavanga meto bu tuela ba yeno va kimosi.
Such people should consider that what we are in our letters when absent, we will be in our actions when present.
12 Bila tumengi kukidedikisa voti kukifuanikisa ayi bankaka bobo beti kiteliminanga bawu veka kimbangi. Bawu veka bu beti ku kitezangabawu na bawu ayi bu beti kukifuanisanga mu bawu veka, buna basi diela ko.
We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they show their ignorance.
13 Vayi kuidi beto, tumengi kueto kukiniemisa viokila tezo kieto. Muaki tueti kukiniemisa kaka mu tezo kitutezila Nzambi muingi tutula nate kuidi beno.
We, however, will not boast beyond our limits, but only within the field of influence that God has assigned to us—a field that reaches even to you.
14 Tusabukanga ko zindilu zieto mu kukiniemisa banga ti tusia tula kuidi beno ko, bila beto tutula kuidi beno mu diambu di longa Nsamu Wumboti wu Klisto.
We are not overstepping our bounds, as if we had not come to you. Indeed, we were the first to reach you with the gospel of Christ.
15 Tukukiniemisanga ko mu bisalu bi batu bankaka biobi biviokikini zindilu zieto. Vayi tusidi diana ti enati minu kieno kilembo kuidi bunakisalu kieto kiela yunduka mu beno boso buididi zindilu zieto;
Neither do we boast beyond our limits in the labors of others. But we hope that as your faith increases, our area of influence among you will greatly increase as well,
16 muingi tubaka bu longila Nsamu Wumboti mu bizunga binkaka bidi thamaviokila vovo luidi, bila tumengi kukiniemisa mu kisalu kisala batu bankaka mu bizunga bi batu bankaka.
so that we can preach the gospel in the regions beyond you. Then we will not be boasting in the work already done in another man’s territory.
17 Vayi woso mutu tidi kukiniemisa, buna bika kakiniemisa mu Pfumu.
Rather, “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.”
18 Bila mutu wowo beta kikinina, bika sia ti wowo weta kitelimina kimbangi niandi veka vayi mutu wowo Pfumu keta telimina kimbangi.
For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
