1 Timothy 1
1 Polo, mvuala wu Yesu Klisto, mu lutumunu lu Nzambi mvulusi eto ayi lu Klisto Yesu diana dieto,
Paul an apostle (of [the] Lord *O*) Christ Jesus according to [the] command of God [the] Savior of us and (Lord *K*) Christ Jesus the hope of us
2 mfidisidi nkanda kuidi Timote, muanꞌama wu kiedika mu minu. Bika nlemvo, mambote ayi ndembama bi Nzambi Tata ayi bi Klisto Yesu Pfumueto bibanga yaku.
To Timothy [my] true child in [the] faith: Grace, mercy, [and] peace from God [the] Father (of us *K*) and Christ Jesus the Lord of us.
3 Bu ndiba kuenda ku Maseduani, ndileba ti wuvuanda theti ku Efeso muingi wulubula batu bankaka babika longa malongi ma luvunu.
even as I urged you to remain in Ephesus [when] I was going to Macedonia so that you may warn certain men not to teach other doctrines
4 Babika singimina mu zinongo ayi mu bikhulu biobi kabisukanga ko bila mambu momo mantotulanga ziphaka vayi bika sia ti kisalu ki Nzambi, kidimu minu.
nor to give heed to myths and to genealogies endless, which (speculations *N(k)O*) bring rather than stewardship of God which [is] in faith.
5 Tsukulu yi lutumunu beni yawu yayi: luzolo lolo luntotukilanga mu ntima wuvedila, ayi mu mayindu mamboti ma ntima ayi mu minu kikiedika.
And the goal of [our] instruction is love out of a pure heart and a conscience good and a faith sincere,
6 Batu bankaka bavengama mu mambu momo, bamana zimbala mu masolo maphamba.
from which some having missed the mark they have turned aside to meaningless discourse
7 Bawu batidi ba minlongi mi Mina ka diambu ko basi zaba ko mambu momo balembo tubi ayi momo balembo longi.
desiring to be teachers of the Law, not understanding neither what they are saying nor [that] about which they confidently assert.
8 Muaki, tuzebi ti Mina midi mimboti enati milembo sadulu mu bufuana.
We know now that good [is] the law if one it lawfully shall use,
9 Bila tufueti zaba ti Mina misia vangulu ko mu diambu di batu basonga vayi mu diambu di batu bambimbi, mu diambu di bankua matingu, mu diambu di batu bobo banlenzanga Nzambi ayi bankua masumu, mu diambu di batu bobo bakambulu lukinzu ayi bobo bamonanga ko tsisi bima binlongo, mu diambu di bobo beti betanga madisa mawu ayi zingudi ziawu, mu diambu di mimvondi,
knowing this, that for a righteous [one] law not is enacted, for [the] lawless however and insubordinate, for [the] ungodly and sinful, for [the] unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for slayers of man,
10 mu diambu di bankua kitsuza, mu diambu di babakala bobo bamvanganga kitsuza bawu na bawu; mu diambu di bobo banyibaka batu, bankua luvunuayi bobo bavananga zitsila zi luvunu ayi mu diambu di bobo bankakabamvanganga mambu moso madi kimbeni ayi malongi ma kiedika.
for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for enslavers, for liars, for perjurers, and if anything other which to sound teaching is opposed
11 Malongi beni madi boso buididi Nsamu Wumboti wowo nditambula; wowo wu nkembo wu Nzambi yi zikhini.
according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, with which was entrusted I myself.
12 Minu ndieti vutudila Klisto Yesu matondo, Pfumuꞌeto. Niandiwukhindisa bu kamona ti ndidi wukuikama, bu kathula mu kisalu.
(and *k*) Thankfulness I have for the [One] having strengthened me for Christ Jesus the Lord of us that faithful me He esteemed having appointed [me] to service,
13 Ka diambu ko ti minu ndituama ba mvuezi, nyamisi ayi mfingi. Vayi ndimono kiadi bila mu kambu ku diela ndiba vangilanga mambu beni ayi mu kambu ku minu.
(*N(k)O*) formerly being a blasphemer and a persecutor and insolent; but I was shown mercy, because being ignorant I did [it] in unbelief;
14 Ayi nlemvo wu Pfumu wumonika wuwombo va kimosi ayi minu ayi luzolo lolo luidi mu Klisto Yesu.
Surpassingly increased then the grace of the Lord of us with [the] faith and love that [are] in Christ Jesus.
15 Diambu diadi didi dikuikama ayi difueni mu kikununu ti: “Yesu Klisto wuyiza va ntoto mu diambu di vukisa bankua masumu.” Mu bawu boso minu ndidi nsumuki wutheti.
Trustworthy [is] the saying and of full acceptance worthy that Christ Jesus came into the world sinners to save, of whom [the] foremost am I myself;
16 Vayi ndimono kiadi mu diambu diadi: muingi mu minu mutu wutheti mu bankua masumu, Yesu Klisto kamonikisa mvibudulu andi yoso muingi ndiba kifuani kuidi bawu bela kunwilukila mu diambu di luzingu lukalumani. (aiōnios g166)
But because of this I was shown mercy, that in me myself [the] foremost may display Christ Jesus ([his] perfect *N(K)O*) patience as a pattern for those being about to believe on Him to life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
17 Bika nzitusu ayi nkembo biba kuidi ntinu wunzinga mu zithangu zioso; wu kakafuanga ko, kamonikanga ko. Niandi kaka Nzambi, mu zitsungi zioso Amen! (aiōn g165)
now to the King of the ages, [the] immortal invisible only (wise *K*) God, [be] honor and glory to the ages of the ages, Amen. (aiōn g165)
18 Muanꞌama Timote, kuidi ngeyo ndimvana lutumunu lualu boso buididi zimbikudulu ziozi zituama bikulu mu diambu diaku, muingi wunuana nduanunu yimboti bu singimini mu ziawu;
This charge I commit to you, [my] child Timothy, according to the going before as to you prophecies, that (you may war *NK(o)*) by them the good warfare
19 bu wunkebanga minu ayi mayindu mamboti ma ntima momo batu bankaka bazimbisa; bazimbisa minu.
holding faith and a good conscience, which some having cast away concerning the faith caused a shipwreck,
20 Mu bawu muidi Imene ayi Alekizandele, bandiyekula kuidi Satanamu diambu babika buela vuezanga.
among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander whom I have handed over to Satan that they may be disciplined not to blaspheme.
