< 1 Peter 2 >
1 Luloza mambu moso ma ngianza ayi luvunu; mayuya, kikhenene ayi tubidila badieno ku ndambu.
Putting away therefore all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisies, envies, and all evil speaking,
2 Banga bana batsombi, bika lumona phuila yi miliki mikambu sobokoso ayi mi kipheve, muingi lubaka buyundukila mu diambu di miliki beni mu diambu tambula phulusu,
as newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow,
3 bu lubimba ti Pfumu widi wu mboti.
if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
4 Bika lufikama vadi niandi, niandi ditadi di moyo diloza batu, vayi disobolo kuidi Nzambi ayi didi di mfunu kuidi Nzambi.
Come to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, precious.
5 Diawu beno mamveno luidi matadi ma moyo, bika lutungu mu diambu di vanga nzo yi kipheve ayi mu diambu lukubika dikabu di banganga Nzambi zivedila. Banganga Nzambi bakubuku mu diambu di tambikanga makaba ma kipheve momo mammonisa Nzambi khini mu nzila yi Yesu Klisto.
You also as living stones are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
6 Bila tala mambu masonama mu masonuku: Minu thudidi ditadi di mfunu, di fuma ki nzo ditadi disobolo ayi di thalu; woso wukudiwilukila kalendi fua tsoni ko.
Because it is contained in Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen and precious. He who believes in him will not be disappointed.”
7 Nyinga, mfunu wuwombo didi kuidi beno lueti wilukila vayi kuidibobo kaba wilukilanga ko: Ditadi diodi mintungi miloza dikitukidi ditadi di mfunu, ditadi di fuma ki nzo.
For you who believe therefore is the honor, but for those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone,”
8 Batu balembo bumina thutu va ditadi beni ayi dilembo buisi batu. Bila bamanga wilukila mambu ma Nzambi diawu balembo buminina thutu. Bumina thutu ayi bua mawu mambu bakubukulu.
and, “a stumbling stone and a rock of offense.” For they stumble at the word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed.
9 Vayi beno luidi nkuna wu batu basobolo, dikabu di banganga Nzambi, dikanda dinlongo; batu bobo Nzambi kavuidi mu diambu lusamuna mavangamutu wowo wulutela bu luba mu tombi muingi luiza ku kiezila kiandi kimboti.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
10 Bila mu thama beno lusia ba batu bandi ko vayi buabu luyikidi batu ba Nzambi; mu thama lusia ba ku tsi nlemvo ko vayi buabu ku tsi nlemvo lueka.
In the past, you were not a people, but now are God’s people, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
11 Bakundi bama ba luzolo, luidi banzenza ayi minkibi va nza yayi; diawu ndikululeba mu tina zinzinunu zi nsuni, zinnuanisanga muela.
Beloved, I beg you as foreigners and pilgrims to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,
12 Bika khaduluꞌeno va khatitsika Bapakanu yiba yimboti mu diambu divovo balembo kulutubidila banga ti luidi batu bambimbi, bamona mavangameno mamboti ayi bela kembisa Nzambi mu thangu kela kuiza.
having good behavior among the nations, so in that of which they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good works and glorify God in the day of visitation.
13 Mu diambu di luzolo mu Pfumu, bika luba bulemvo kuidi babo beti yala: kuidi ntinu, pfumu yitheti mu luvalu.
Therefore subject yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether to the king, as supreme,
14 Kuidi baguvelenele, bobo ntinu keti tuma mu diambu di vanangathumbudulu kuidi minyadi, batu bobo bamvanganga mbimbi ayi mu diambu di niemisanga bobo bamvanganga mamboti.
or to governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evildoers and for praise to those who do well.
15 Bila tala buididi luzolo lu Nzambi: bika luvanga mamboti muingimiunu mi batu bakambulu diela mizibama.
For this is the will of God, that by well-doing you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.
16 Bika luba batu badi mu kiphuanza vayi kiphuanza beni kibikaba banga yunga mu diambu di fuka mambimbi; vayi bika luba bangabisadi bi Nzambi.
Live as free people, yet not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God.
17 Lukinzikanga batu boso. Luzola bakhomba zieno mu minu; “lukinzikanga Nzambi ayi luzitisanga ntinu.”
Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
18 A beno bisadi, bika luba bulemvo kuidi bapfumu zieno mu lukinzu loso, bika sia kaka kuidi bapfumu badi mboti ayi balembama vayi ayi kuidi bapfumu bambimbi.
Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked.
19 Bila didi diambu di mfunu, enati mutu wulembo vibidila ziphasi bu betikummonisa ziphasi mu kambu bila mu diambu di Nzambi.
For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience toward God.
20 Bila nkembo mbi luela tambula enati luvibididi bu balubetidi mu mambimbi ma luvengi e? Vayi enati lummona ziphasi bu luvengi mamboti ayi luvibididi; buna diodi didi diambu di mfunu va meso ma Nzambi.
For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God.
21 Mu bila kioki beno lutedolo mbila bila Klisto wumona ziphasimu diambu dieno. Niandi wulubikila kifuani muingi lulandakana zithambi ziandi.
For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps,
22 Kasia vola masumu ko, kasia tuba luvunu ko.
who did not sin, “neither was deceit found in his mouth.”
23 Bu kafingu, niandi kasia vutula mu finga ko; bu kamonoso ziphasi, niandi kasia temina ko vayi wutumbu kiyekula kuidi zuzi di busonga.
When he was cursed, he did not curse back. When he suffered, he did not threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously.
24 Niandi wunata masumu meto mu nituꞌandi va dikulusi, muingi ka diambu ko tufuidi mu masumu, tuzinga luzingu lusonga. Bila mu ziphuta ziandi lubelukila.
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.
25 Bila luba banga mameme mazimbala vayi buabu luvutukidi kuidi mvungi ayi nsungi wu miela mieno.
For you were going astray like sheep; but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
