1 Kange nikam'bona umunyamola ujunge um'baha ikwika pasi kuhuma kukyanya. akadindilue mulifunde, kwelilyale ilin'ganga lyosi pa mutu ghwa mwene. Uvweni vwa mwene vukale ndavule inguzo ja mwoto.
(I saw a mighty angel descending out of heaven, clothed with a cloud, and the rainbow on his head; his face was like the sun and his feet like pillars of fire;
2 Alyakolile iligombo ilidebe muluvoko lwa mwene lino likale livalulilue, najumwene akavikile ulughulu lwa mwene ulwa ndyo pakyanya pa nyanja nulughulu lwa mwene ulwa ng'ighi pakyanya pa iisi.
and he had a little book open in his hand. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left on the land,
3 Kange akatova ilisio ilivaha ndavule inyalupala pano jiguluma, nunsiki ghuno akatovile ilisio iragi lekela lubale sikagulwima.
and he cried out with a loud voice, just like a lion roars. And when he cried out, the seven thunders uttered their own voices.
4 Unsiki iragi lekela lubale ysigulwime, nikale pipi pilemba, looli nikapulika ilisio kuhuma kukyanya liti, “Lolelagha sileke pihuma kino iragi lekela lubale sijovile. Ulekaghe pilemba.”
Now when the seven thunders spoke I was about to write, but I heard a voice out of heaven saying, “Seal up the things that the seven thunders said,” and “You write after these things.”
5 Kange unyamola juno nikamwaghile imile pa kyanya pa nyanja na pa iisi, aliinuile uluvoko lwa mwene kukyanya
And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to the heaven
6 nakukujigha kwajula juno ikukala kuvusila nakusila juno akapelilue kuvulanga ni fyoni fino mwefile, iisi ni finu fyoni fino mwefile, ninyanja ni finu fyoni fino mwefile: “Nakwekule kudila kange. (aiōn g165)
and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there would be no further delay, (aiōn g165)
7 Looli mikighono kiila, unsiki umunyamola lekela lubale iliva pipi kukuva ulukelema lwa mwene, pe ulusyefu lwa Nguluve luliva lukwiline pano apulisie kuvavomba mbombo vamwene vavili.”
but in the days of the blast of the seventh angel, whenever he should trumpet, the mystery of God which was announced to His slaves the prophets would be finished.
8 Ilisio lino nikapulike kuhuma kukyanya likambula kange: “Lutagha, tola iligombo ilidebe lino livalulilue lino lilimuluvoko lwa munyamola juno imile pakyanya pa nyanja na pakyanya pa iisi.”
Now the voice that I heard out of heaven was speaking to me again and saying: “Go, take the little book that is open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”
9 Kange nikaluta kwa munyamola na pikum'bula anipele iligombo ilidebe. Akam'bula, “Tola iligombo kange ulie. Nikukuvika ilileme lyako live nuvuvafi, looli mumulomo gjwako liliva linofu ndavule uvwuki.”
So I went to the angel and said to him, “Give me the little book,” and he says to me: “Take and eat it up; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”
10 Nikatoolile iligombo ilidebe kuhuma muluvo ulwa munyamola na kulia. likale linofu ndavule uvwuki mumulomo ghwango, looli ye nilile ilileme lyango likale nuvuvafi.
So I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it up, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it my stomach was made bitter.
11 Kange ilisio lika mbulile, “Lunoghile kuviila kange vwimila vwa vaanhu viinga, ikisina, injovele na vatua.”
And he said to me, “You must prophesy again over many peoples, even over ethnic nations and languages and kings.”
