< Vaebrania 6 >
1 Pauluo, tungaleke kino tumanyile tasi vwimila imhola ija Kilisite, tughanilue kuva ning'aki kulungika kuvughifu, natulabikagha kange ululaato kuhuma mumbombo sino silavwumi nu lwitiko mwa Nguluve,
So let us get beyond the teaching of the elementary doctrines of Christ, and let us be borne along toward what is mature. Let us not be continually laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, faith in God,
2 nambe ulwalo lwa mbulanisio sa lwofugho, napikuvavikila amavoko uvusyuke vwa vufue, nuvuhighi vwa kuvusila kusila. (aiōnios )
of the teaching regarding ablutions and the laying on of hands, of the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (aiōnios )
3 Pe tuvombagha anala nave uNguluve angatavule.
And this we will do, if God permit.
4 Ulwakuva najinga wezekane ku vala vano vakapatile ulumuli lwa vutengulilo, vano vaka vonjile ikipelua kya kya iisi, nakuvomba kuuti vave va hangilanisi va Mhepo u Mwimike,
For in the case of those who have been once for all enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and become partakers of the Holy Spirit,
5 kange vano vakavonjile uvunono vwa lisio lya Nguluve ni ngufu sa nsiki ghuno ghukwisa, (aiōn )
and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the Future Age, (aiōn )
6 kange vakaghua jikasiting'ana kuvagomosia kange mululato. Ili vwimila vwa kumpumusia uMwana ghwa Nguluve ulyavuvili mu numbula save, vakambombo hwene kyombo kwa lubenapulo pavuvalafu.
and then fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance. For they repeatedly crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and expose him to an open shame.
7 Ulwakuva iisi jino jikupile ifula jino jitonya kinga pakyanya pa jene, pe jikamelesia amamela agha nyaluvumbulilo muvano vakavombile imbombo mu iisi, ikwupila uvufunuluo kuhuma kwa Nguluve.
For land that has drunk the showers that now and again fall upon it, and produced vegetation useful for those for whom it was tilled, receives a blessing from God;
8 Looli ghi humia amasonge na masoli, lilivuvule kange lutogo luli palutalama lwa kughunua. Kuvusililo ku sova.
but if it produces thorns and thistles, it is considered worthless, and is in danger of being cursed, and its end will be to be burned.
9 Nambe kuuti tujova anala, vamanyani va ghanike, tusyangua namasio amanono vwimila umue namasio vwimila uvupoki.
But though we thus speak, we are persuaded better things of you, beloved, and things that accompany salvation.
10 Ulwakuva uNguluve ghwa kyang'haani nangasyamue imbombo jinu nulughano luno avonesisie vwimila ilitavua lyabmwene, muili mukava vavombile vitike kange bado mukuvavombela.
For God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you showed for his cause, in sending help to your fellow Christians, as you are still doing.
11 Tunoghelua kyongo kuuti umuunhu ghweni asone ingufu silasila kufika kuvusililo vwa kyang'haani vwa lughimbo.
but I am longing that each of you continue to show the same diligence to realize the fulness of your hope, even to the end.
12 Natughanile muve volo, looli muve vitiki vano vihaasi ulufingo vwimila vwa lwitiko lwa lugudo.
Then do not become slack, but be imitators of those who through faith and patience are inheriting the promises.
13 Ulwakuuti uNguluve ye ampelile u Abrahamu ulufingo, alyampelile mu numbula ja mwene ulwakuva ngale nakijighile kwa junge ghweghoni juno n'ojo kukila umwene.
For when God make the promise to Abraham, since he could swear by none greater, he swore by himself, saying.
14 Akajovile, “Sakyang'haani nikukufunulila, nikukwongelela ulukolo lwako kyongo.”
Surely I will bless you, and bless you; I will increase you, and increase you.
15 Musila iji, uAbrahamu akupile kila kino akafingilue pauluo akaghulagha nulugudo.
And so by patiently waiting, Abraham obtained the promise.
16 Ulwakuva avaanhu vikujiigha kwamwene um'baha kukila aveene, nakuveene uvusililo vwa maghelano soni kya kijiigho kuvonesia.
I am referring to the oath because men swear by what is greater than themselves, and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.
17 Unsiki ghuno uNguluve akalamula kusona pavivalafu kukila avahaasi va lufingo uludonyo lwa mwene lunono luno naluhambuka, linoakasonile nulu jiigho.
On which principle God, wishing to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his purpose, mediated with an oath;
18 Alyavombile anale neke ifiinu fiviili fino nafihambung'ana, kkange mu ifio uNguluve nangajove uvudesi, usue twevano tukakimbilile kuvusyefu kuuti tukemelue inumbula kugadilila kwa Nguluve uluhuvilo lunolukavikilue pavulongolo palyusue.
that by means of two immutable things - his promise and his oath - in which it is impossible for God to break faith, we refugees may have strong encouragement to grasp the hope set before us.
19 Tuvona ulughimbo ulu hwene lwimilo lughifu kange luhuvilo lwa numbula situ, ulughimbo luno lukwingila pakimenyule kya mun'kate mumbele mulipazia.
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, secure and strong, and passing into the sanctuary which is beyond the veil;
20 UYesu akingile pa kimenyule kilandavule umulongosi ghwitu, angavombeka kuva n'tekesi m'baha hadi kuvusila kusila pambele pa vutavike vwa Melkizedeki. (aiōn )
whither Jesus himself is entered as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a priest forever, after the order of Melchisedek. (aiōn )
