< Vagalatia 3 >

1 vagalatia vajaasu, lwe liso liki ilihosi lino livananginie? pe uKilisite nakavonike hwene mpumuke pa maaso ghinu?
O ye Galatians, deficient in understanding! Who hath fascinated you? For lo, Jesus the Messiah hath been portrayed as in a picture, crucified before your eyes.
2 une ninoghua kukagula ili kuhuma ku lyumue. pe mukamwupile uMhepo kumaghendele gha ndaghilo au kwa kwitikila sila sinomukupile?
This only would I learn from you, Was it by works of the law, that ye received the Spirit? or by the hearing of faith?
3 pe umue mulivajaasu ene ndiki? pe mukatengile nu Mhepo neka mumale nu m'bili?
Are ye so foolish, that having begun in the Spirit, ye now would consummate in the flesh?
4 pe mukapumwike mu nyinga vuvule, ndeve lweli sikale sa vuvule?
And have ye borne all these things in vain? And I would, it were in vain!
5 pe umwene juno amwumusie uMhepo kulyumue nakuvomba isinya ngufu kulyumue ivomba ku sa ndaghilo au kupulika palikimo nu lwitiko?
He therefore who giveth the Spirit in you, and who worketh miracles among you, doth he these things by the deeds of the law? or by the hearing of faith?
6 UAbulahamu “alyale mwitiki kwa Nguluve akavalilue kuuva nyakyang'haani”
In like manner Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
7 mu lula lula mukagule kuuti, vala vano vikwitika ve vaanha va Abulahamu.
Know ye, therefore, that those who are of faith, they are the children of Abraham.
8 ililembe likavonwile kuuti uNguluve ale ikuvavalila ikyang'haani avapanji kusila ja lwitiko. ilivangili likadalikilue kwa Abulahamu taasi: “kukilila uve iisi sooni sikaunyilue”.
For, because God knew beforehand that the Gentiles would be made just by faith, he preannounced it to Abraham; as saith the holy scripture, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
9 neka pambele vala avanya lwitiko viise vafunyue palikimo nu Abulahamu, juno akale nu lwitiko.
Believers, therefore, it is, who are blessed with believing Abraham.
10 vala vano vihuvila amaghendele gha ndaghilo vali mu lughuno. ulwakuva jilembilue, aghunilue umuunhu ghweni juno naikolana ni sooni sino silembilue mu kilembe kya ndaghilo, kukusivomba sooni.
For they who are of the deeds of the law, are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one who shall not do every thing written in this law.
11 lino vwelu kuuti uNguluve naikum'balila ikyang'haani nambe jumo mu ndaghilo kwa kuva unya kyang'haani ikukala ku lwitiko”
And that no one becometh just before God, by the law, is manifest: because it is written, The just by faith, shall live.
12 indaghilo najihumilanila nu lwitiko, neke pe pano “juno ivomba isi mu ndaghilo ikukala mu ndaghilo.
Now the law is not of faith; but, whoever shall do the things written in it, shall live by them.
13 uKilisite alyatupokile usue kuhuma ku lughuno lwa ndaghilo un'siki ghuno akavombikue kuuva lughuno vwimila jitu, ulwakuva jilembilue,” aghunilue umuunhu ghweni juno akovikue kukyanya ja mpiki.”
But the Messiah hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, and hath been a curse for us; (for it is written, Cursed is everyone that is hanged on a tree; )
14 uvufumbue vulyale kuuti, ulufunyo luno lulyale kwa Abulahamu lwale lukwisa kuvapanji mwa Kilisite yeesu, neke kuuti twupile uluingo lwa Mhepo kukilila u lwitiko.
that the blessing of Abraham might be on the Gentiles, through Jesus the Messiah; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit by faith.
15 vanyalukolo nijova mu lwa m'bili nambe pano ulwiting'ano lwa ki muunhu luvikilue kikangafu, nakwale juno iwesia kubenapula nambe kukwongelesia.
My brethren, I speak as among men; a man's covenant which is confirmed, no one setteth aside, or changeth any thing in it.
16 lino ulufingo lukajovilue kwa Abulahamu na kukisina kyake. najijova kuuti, “kufisina” kusona vinga looli jumo mwene, “ku kisina kyako” juno ghwe Kilisite.
Now to Abraham was the promise made, and to his seed. And it said to him, not, to thy seeds, as being many; but to thy seed, as being one, which is the Messiah.
17 lino niti ndiki, indaghilo jino jikisie amaka 430 pambele, najivusia ulupuling'ahano lwa kunsana luno lukavikilue nu Nguluve.
And this I say: That the covenant which was previously confirmed by God in the Messiah, the law which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot set it aside, and nullify the promise.
18 kwa kuva uvwimilisi vwale vukwisa ku sila ja ndaghilo, navwale vukwisa kange ku sila ja lufingo. neke uNguluve akavuhumisie vuvule kwa Abulahamu ku sila ja lufingo.
And if the inheritance were by the law, it would not be by promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
19 kiki lino indaghilo jikahumisivue? jikongelesivue kuhumila mu vuhosi, kuhanga umuholua ghwa Abulahamu ise ku vala vano akafingilue, indaghilo jikavikilue ku kulila avanyMhola ku luvoko lwa juno isambania.
What then is the law? It was added on account of transgression, until that seed should come, to whom belonged the promise: and the law was given by angels through a mediator.
20 lino juno isambania ifumbua kukila umuunhu jumo, looli uNguluve ghwe jumo mwene.
Now a mediator is not of one; but God is one.
21 pe lino indaghilo najijova isa mu lufingo lwa Nguluve? na kwekuuti! ulwakuva nave indaghilo jino jikamumisivue jilyale ni ngufu isa kuleta uvwumi, ikyang'ani jale jipatikana ku ndaghilo.
Is the law then opposed to the promise of God? Far be it. For if a law had been given, which could make alive, certainly, righteousness would have been by the law.
22 neke peepano ililembe lidindiile sooni mu muvuhosi. uNguluve alyavombile ndiki neke kuuti ulufungo lwake ulwa kutupoka usue ku lwitiko mwa Kilisite Yesu luwesie kupatikana ku vala vano vikumwitika.
But the scripture hath inclosed all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus the Messiah might be given to them that believe.
23 neke ye lukyale kumema ulwitiko lwa Kilisite, tulyadindilue na kuva pasi pa ndaghilo kuhanga lwise ulusyetulilo lwa lwitiko.
But before the faith came, the law kept us shut up unto the faith that was to be revealed.
24 pe lino indaghilo jilyale ghwe mulongosi ghwitu kuhanga uKilisite pano akisilse, neke kuuti, tuvalilue ikyang'ani ku lwitiko.
The law, therefore, was a monitor for us unto the Messiah, that we might become just by faith.
25 lino ulwakuva ulwitiko lwisile natuli mwa mulolelesi kange.
But the faith having come, we are not under the monitor.
26 ulwakuva umue mweni muli vaanha va Nguluve kukilila ulwitiko mwa Kilisite Yesu.
For ye are all the children of God, by faith in Jesus the Messiah.
27 mwevoni mwevano mukofughue mwa Kilisite munfwalile u Kilisite,
For they who have been baptized into the Messiah, have put on the Messiah.
28 namkwale umuYahudi nambe umuYunani, umbombi nambe juno na m'bombi, umughosi nambe un'dala, ulwakuva mweni mulivamo mwa Kilisite Yesu.
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free-born, neither male nor female; for ye are all one in Jesus the Messiah.
29 nave muli va Kilisite pe nuvuholuo lwa Abulamamu, vapelua kuvutavike vwa lufingo.
And if ye are the Messiah's, then are ye the seed of Abraham, and heirs by the promise.
