Waefeso 5
1 Pa uluo muvisaghe vaanhu va kum'bingilila u Nguluve heene vaanha va mwene avaghanike.
Therefore, be imitators of God, as beloved children,
2 Mughendaghe mulughano, vulevule ndavule u Kilisite atughanile usue, alihumisie jujuo vwimila usue. Umwene alyale litekelo kange ng'oolo jujuo kuuva nulunusi lunono ulwa kumovosia u Nguluve.
and walk in love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
3 Uvuvwafu nambe uvunyali vwevwoni nuvunoghelua uvuvivi vunoghile navungatambulaghe mulyumue, ndavule jilondua kuviitiki,
But fornication, impurity of any kind, and covetousness must not even be mentioned among you, because such things are improper for saints.
4 nambe isakukalasia nasingatambuluaghe, imuling'ano isa kiijasu, nambe imbedo isa kubedania, sino nasigholwike, ulwene pesivisaghe inyongesio.
Nor should there be any obscenity, foolish talk, or coarse joking, which are not fitting, but there should be thanksgiving instead.
5 Munoghile kuuva nuvwakyang'haani kuuti kuli vuvwafu, uvunyali, nambe juno inoghelua, ujuo ikufunya ifihwani, alivuvule uvuhasi kuvutua vwa Kilisite nhu Nguluve.
For you know that no one who is a fornicator, impure, or covetous (that is, an idolater) has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Umuunhu ghweni nanga kusyangagheku masio vulevule, ulwakuva amasio agha lyojo lya Nguluve likwisa kuvaala vano navikumwitika.
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.
7 Pa uluo nungavisaghe muhangilanisi palikimo na veene.
Therefore do not be partners with them.
8 Ulwakuva umue pavwasio mukale mu ng'iisi, looli lino mulimulumuli ulwa Mutwa.
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
9 Pa uluo mughendaghe heene vaana valumuli. Ulwakuva imekebsa lumuli siling'ana nu vunono vwoni, uvwa kyang'haani nuvwa lweli.
(for the fruit of the Spirit is found in all goodness, righteousness, and truth).
10 Mulondaghe kila kinu kihovosie kwa Mutwa.
Carefully determine what is pleasing to the Lord.
11 Napwevungavisaghe uvuhangilanisi mumbombo isa mu ng'iisi sino nasilinimeke, pa uluo sivike pa vwelu.
Do not participate in the unfruitful works of darkness, but expose them instead.
12 Ulwakuuva iisi sivombua na vene kuvusyefu se soni kyongo kange kukwolelela.
For it is shameful even to mention what such people do in secret.
13 Amasio ghoni pano ghivikua pavuvalafu nulumuli ghiva pa vwelilu,
But everything exposed by the light becomes illuminated, and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.
14 ulwakuva kiila kiinu kino kilipavuvalafu kiva palumuli. Pa uluo kiiti ndiiki, “Sisimuka uve ghwejuno ghughona, kange ghwime kuhuma kuvafue kange u Kilisite imulika palyuve”
Therefore it says, “Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine upon yoʋ.”
15 Pa uluo muvisaghe mulelelaghe pano mughenda, na kwekuuti heene avaanhu vaano navalinuvukagusi looli heene vakagusi.
See then that you walk carefully, not as unwise people but as wise,
16 Mulutaghe nu nsiki ulwakuva ifighono fye fya vuhosi.
making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
17 Namungavisaghe vajasu, pa uluo mukagule kiinu kiiki mu vughene vwa Mutwa.
Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
18 Namungaghalaghe nhu luhuje, vilongosia ku vanangifu, pa uluo mumemesevue nhu Mhepo u Mwimike.
Do not be drunk with wine, which leads to debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,
19 Mujovaghe nhu muunhu ghweni mulyumue mu nyimbo, nulughinio, nhinyimbo isa mhepo. Imbagha kange mughiniaghe nhu mwoojo ghwa Mutwa.
speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your hearts to the Lord,
20 Jaatu humiagha uluhongesio mu isi sooni mulitavua lya Yesu Kilisite Mutwa ghwitu kwa Nguluve u Nhaata.
always giving thanks for everything to our God and Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
21 Muhumiaghe jumue umuunhu ghweni kwa junge nu vwoghopua vwa Kilisite.
and submitting to one another in the fear of Christ.
22 Va mama, muhumiaghe ku vaghosi viinu, ndavule kwa Mutwa.
Wives, submit to your husbands, as to the Lord.
23 Ulwakuva umughosi ghwe Mutua ghwa mumama, ndavule u Kilisite pano alimuutu ghwa lukong'ano. Ghwe m'poki ghwa m'bili.
For the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head and Savior of the church, which is his body.
24 Looli ndavule ulukong'ano vule lulipasi pa Kilisite, vulevule ava mama vanoghile kuvomba khu vaghosi vavanave mu agha ghoni
Just as the church submits to Christ, so wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25 Vaghosi, muvaghanaghe avadala viinu ndavule vule u Kilisite alyalughanile ulukong'ano kange akihumia jujuo vwimila umwene.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
26 Alyavombile anala ulwakuuti vave vimike. Alyalivalisie na kulisuka na malenga mu lisio.

28 Musila jilajila, avaghosi vanoghile kukuvaghana avadala vavanave ndavule amavili ghavanave. Jula juno amughanile un'dala ghwa mwene ighanile mwene.
In the same way husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
29 Nakwale nambe jumo juno ikughukalalila um'bili ghwa mwene. Pa uluo, ikughunosia na kukughughana, ndavule u Kilisite kange vule alyalughanile ulukong'ano.
For no one has ever hated his own flesh, but he nourishes and cares for it, just as the Lord does for the church,
30 Ulwakuvasue tulivahangilanisi va m'bili gwa mwene.
because we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones.
31 “Vwimila ulu umughosi ikumuleka u Nhaata ghwa mwene nu mama ghwa mwene viiva palikimo nhu n'dala ghwa mwene kange avuo vavili viva m'bili ghumo”. ulu lwe lufisime.
“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”

33 Pa uluo, umuunhu ghweni mulyumue anoghilebkukumughana un'dala ghwa mwene heene jujuo, nun'dala ghwa mwene anoghile amwoghopaghe umughosi ghwa mwene
Nevertheless, each man among you must love his own wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
