1 tukagwile kuuti amavili ghiitu kye kyeve kya n'siki n'debe mu iisi muno. neke kyang'hanangike, uNguluve ilikutupeela uvukalo kukyanya uvwa kusila na kusila vuno navuli ndavule ilikaaja lino lijengilue na mavoko gha vaanhu. (aiōnios g166)
For we know that, if our earthly tent-habitation be destroyed, we have a building provided by God, a house not made with hands, everlasting, in the heavens. (aiōnios g166)
2 ulwakuva mu iisi muno amoojo ghitu ghipumuka mu uluo tuli nu vusyukue uvukome uvwa kuluta kuvukalo vwitu uvwa kukyanya, ukuo uNguluve ilikutufywika amavili amapia.
For while in this we groan, longing to be clothed upon with our habitation which is from heaven;
3 tusyukilue mu ulu, kuuti mulwa kufwikua, apuo natuuva vufuula.
since, indeed, when we have put off our present garment, we shall not be found naked.
4 pano yu jiighe mu ma vuli agha ghano gha kyeve kya n'siki n'debe tupumuka mu mojo ghiitu mu lwa kufua mu nyinga. na kwe kuuti tulonda kufuula um'bili ughu ghuno ghufua, ulwene tulonda kufwikua um'bili ghuno naghufua, kuuti um'bili ughu ghuno ghufua ghugulubikue na ghuno naghufua.
For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened; inasmuch as we do not desire to be unclothed, but to be clothed upon, that mortality may be swallowed up by life.
5 uNguluve ghe juno atuling'hanisie uluo, utupeliile uMhepo ghwake neke tukagule kuuti kyang'haani fye tiliiva.
Now he that hath prepared us for this very thing is God; who also gave to us the Spirit as the pledge.
6 jaatu tuli nu luhuviilo nambe tukagwile kuuti, pano tulu mu m'bili ughu tulipatali nu Mutwa.
We have courage, therefore, always, and know that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord;
7 tukukala vwimila ulwitiko, na kwe kuuti vwimila fino fivoneka mu uluo mwe tukangalika.
for we walk by faith, not by sight; but we have courage,
8 kange tuvona ye kuba twale tughuleke um'bili ughu na kuluta kukukala nu Mutwa.
and are well pleased rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.
9 lino tuve muvukalo uvu, nambe natuuve muvukalo uvu, uvufumbue vwitu kukumuhovosia uMutwa.
Wherefore we also strive that, whether at home or absent, we may be approved by him.
10 ulwakuva usue tweni tulikwima pamaaso gha Kilisite nakuhighua nu mwene, neke nujunge ilikwupila uluhombo vwimila sino avomba mu iisi muno, siive nnofu nambe siive mbiivi.
For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in his body, according to what he did, whether good or bad.
11 lino, ulwakuva tukaghwile kuuti lunoghiile kukumwoghopa uMutwa, tughimba kukuvavula avaanhu kuuti vamwitikaghe. uNguluve atukagwile vunono vuno tulivuo, najune nihuviila kuuti na jumue mutukagwile vunono.
Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men; but to God we have been made manifest, and I hope have been made manifest in your consciences also.
12 natulonda pikughinia kange kulyumue, looli tulonda kukuvavuula kino kinoghiile kukughinia vwimila usue, kuuti muve na masio agha kuvamula vano vikughinia vwimila sino sivoneka pa maaso, vikusileka isa mu mwojo.
For we are not again commending ourselves to you, but giving you occasion to glory on our behalf; that ye may have somewhat to answer those who glory in outward appearance, and not in heart.
13 ulwakuva, nave tuvoneka tulivanyalukwale, tuli enendiiki vwimila mwa Nguluve, kange nave tuvoneka tuli nu luhala vwe vwimila umue.
For whether we were beside ourselves, it was for God; or whether we are in our sound mind, it is for you.
14 ulughano lwa Kilisite lukutulongosia usue, ulwakuva tukagwile kuuti umuunhu jumo alwafwile vwimila avaanhu vooni, mu uluo avaanhu vooni valyafwile.
For the love of Christ constraineth us, because we thus judged, that if one died for all, then all died;
15 UKilisite alyafwile vwimila avaanhuu vooni kuuti, avaanhu valekaghe kukukala mu vughane vwake, looli mu vughane vwa juno alyafwile na kusyuka vwimila aveene.
and he died for all, that they who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who died for their sakes, and rose again.
16 lino kuhuma un'siki ughu, natukun'kagula umuunhu mulwa m'bili. na pano un'siki ghumonga tukan'kagwile uKilisite mulwa m'bili, neke liino natukun'kagula mu uluo.
So that we henceforth know no one according to the flesh; and if we have even known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we no longer know him.
17 umuunhu ghweni juno alimwa Kilisite, ujuo avumbiike vupia, isa muvukuulu sikilile, lino uvumuunhu vwake vupia.
Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
18 neke isi sooni sihuma kwa Nguluve juno alyansung'hile uKilisite atusambanie usue nu mwene, kange atupeliile imbombo ija kupulisia imhola ijio ija kusambana nu mwene.
And all things are from God, who reconciled us to himself by Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 kwekuuti kukilila uKilisite, uNguluve ikuvasambania avaanhu nu mwene, kisila kuvalilila uvuhosi vwaave. kange atupeliile imbombo ija kuvavuula avaanhu imhola ija lusambanio.
seeing that in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 lino, uKilisite atusung'hile kuvomba imbombo jaake, neke kukilila usue uNguluve ikuvasimilisia kusambana nu mwene. fwe nambe tukuvasuuma vwimila uKilisite kuuti: “musambane nu Nguluve!
We then are ambassadors for Christ; as though God were exhorting you by us, in behalf of Christ we entreat you, Be reconciled to God.
21 UNguluve alyam'bikile uKilisite unsila vuhosi, kuuva mhosi vwimila usue, kuuti pano tuuva vaanhu va Kilisite ujuo, tuvisaghe vagholofu pa maaso gha Nguluve.
Him, who knew not sin, he made sin for us, that we might become God's righteousness in him.
