1 Nilonda umue mukagule vakuulu na valumbu vango, ulwakuva ava nhaata vitu vakaale pasi pamavingu kange voni valyalilile mu nyanja.
Brethren I wolde not that ye shuld be ignoraunt of this how yt oure fathers were all vnder a cloude and all passed thorow the see
2 Vooni vano vakofughilue nhu Musa mun'kate mu maviingu kange mun'kate mu nyanja,
and were all baptised vnder Moses in the cloude and in the see:
3 vooni valyalile ikyakulia kilakila ikya mhepo.
and dyd all eate of one spirituall meate
4 Vooni valyanywile ikinywelo kilakila ikya mhepo. Ulwakuva valyanywile kuhuma mulinalavue ilya mhepo jino jilya vavingilile, nilinalavue liila alyale ghwe Kilisite.
and did all drincke of one maner of spirituall drincke. And they dranke of that spretuall rocke that folowed them which rocke was Christ.
5 Looli u Nguluve nakwekuuti nakanoghile kyongo kangebnaviinga va vanave, navafue vavanave vakasambasivue mulukuvi.
But in many of them had god no delite. For they were overthrowen in the wildernes.
6 Kange amasio agha ghoni ghakale kihwani kulyusue, ulwakuuti usue natungavesaghe vaanhu va kunoghelua ndavule navoope fino valyavombile.
These are ensamples to vs that we shuld not lust after evyll thinges as they lusted
7 Namungifunyaghe kufihwani, ndavule viinga vavanave vulevalyale. Iili ndavule lilyalembilue, “Avaanhu valikalile pasi vilia na kunyua, vakinwike kunena nuvunoghelua vwa vughane.”
Nether be ye worshippers of Images as were some of them accordynge as it is written: The people sate doune to eate and drynke and rose vp agayne to playe.
8 Natungavombaghe uvu malaya ndavule viinga vavanave vulivivomba. Vakafua ikighono kimo avaanhu ufijigho fivili navatatu mbili vwimila vwa uluo.

All these thinges happened vnto them for ensamples and were written to put vs in remembraunce whom the endes of the worlde are come apon. (aiōn g165)
12 Pa uluo juno ikuvoona imiile ave vunofu nangaghwisaghe.
Wherfore let hym that thynketh he stodeth take hede least he fall.
13 Nakwelule ulughelo lunolulyavapelile umue luno nalulivulevule ku vaanhu. Looli u Nguluve ghwe mwitiki. Na ikuvaleka mughelue kukila ingufu siinu. Palikimo nulughelo umwene ikuvapela umulyango ughwa kuhumila, ulwakuuti munoghele.
There hath none other temptacion taken you but soche as foloweth ye nature of ma. But God is faythfull which shall not suffer you to be tempted above youre strenght: but shall in the myddes of the temptacion make awaye to escape out.
14 Pa ului, vaghanike vaango mulukimbilaghe ulufunyo ulwa kihwani.
Wherfore my deare beloued fle from worshippynge of ydols.
15 Nijova numue ndavule avanyaluhala, kuuti mulamule linomujova.

16 Ikikombe ikya lufunyo kino tukukifunyil, na kihangilanisi kya danda ja Kilisite? Un'kate ghula ghuno tumanyula vuhangilanisi vwa m'biili ghwa Kilisite?
Ys not the cuppe of blessinge which we blesse partakynge of ye bloude of Christ? ys not the breed which we breake partetakynge of the body of Christ?
17 Ulwakuva un'kate ghulighumo, usue twevano tulivinga um'biili ghumo. Usue tweeni tukyupila un'kate ghumo palikimo.
because that we (though we be many) yet are one breed and one bodye in as moch as we all are partetakers of one breed.
18 Muvalolaghe avaanhu va Israeli: Vuli! Vala vooni vano vilia ilitekolo navahangilanisi va kitekelo?
Beholde Israhell which walketh carnally. Are not they which eate of the sacrifyse partetakers of the aultre?
19 Nijova kiki? Kange ulwakuuva ikihwani kye kiinu? Nambe ikyakulia kino kihumisivua litekelo kufihwani kye kiinu?
What saye I then? that the ymage is eny thinge? or that it which is offered to ymages is eny thinge?
20 Looli nijova ku fiinu fila fino vafihumisie litekelo kuvaanhu avapanji avamu kiisina, ulwakuva vihumiaifiinu ifi kumapepo nakwekuuti kwa Nguluve. Une nanilonda umue ku hasing'ana na mapepo.
Nay but I saye that those thinges which the gentyle offer they offer to devyls and not to god. And I wolde not that ye shuld have fellishippe with ye devils
21 Namunoghile kunywila ikikombe kya Mutwa ni kikombe ikya mapepo. Nomunoghile kuva nuvuhangilanisi oa meza ija Mutwa na pamesa ija mapepo.
Ye canot drincke of the cup of the lorde and of yt cup of ye deuyls. Ye cnanot be partetakers of the lordes table and of the table of deuelles.
22 Nambe tuku mponia u Nguluve ikilule? Tuli ningufu kukila umwene?
Ether shall we provoke the lorde? Or are we stronger then he? All thynges are laufull vnto me but all thynges are not expedient.
23 “Ifinu fyoni fya kyng'haani,” loolibnakwekuuti fyoni nafinoghile. “Ifiinu fyoni fyakyang'haani,” looli na kwekuuti fyoni fino fikuvaviika avaanhu.
All thynges are lawfull to me but all thinges edifye not.
24 Nakwale nambe jumo juno ilonda amanono gha mwene. Pa uluo umuunhu ghweniale ilonda amanofu gha nine.
Let no man seke his awne proffet: but let every man seke anothers welthe.
25 Munoghile kulia kila kinu kino vighusia kuligulilo kisila kuposelesia -posia vwimila vwa nyivonelo.
What soever is solde in the market that eate and axe no questions for conscience sake
26 Ulwakuva “Iisi kyuma kya Mutwa, nafyoni fino fijimemisie.”
For the erth is the lordis and all that therein is.
27 Naju muunhu juno mwitike angavaghongole kulia, navemulonda kuluta, lisagha fyoni fino ikuvapela kisila kuposelesia imosio isa nyivonelo.
Yf eny of them which beleve not bid you to a feest and yf ye be disposed to goo what soever is seet before you: eate axinge no question for conscience sake.
28 Looli umuunhu angavavule, “Ikyakulia iki kihumilanile nilitekelo lya vapanji,” Namungalisaghe. Ulu vwimila vwa mwene juno avavulile, vwimila vwa nyivonelo.
But and yf eny man saye vnto you: this is dedicate vnto ydols eate not of it for his sake that shewed it and for hurtynge of conscience.
29 Najune na kwekuuti nijova inyivonelo siinu, looli inyivonelo isa juunge juula. Ulwakuuva lwakiiki uvwavuuke vwango vuhighwaghe ni nyivonelo sa muunhu juunge?
Conscience I saye not thyne: but the coscieuce of that other. For why shuld my liberte be iudged of another manes conscience:
30 Nave une nivombela ikyakulia ikya kuhongesia, kiiki nilighwaghe nhi kiinu kino kihongisie?
For yf I take my parte with thakes: why am I evell spoken of for that thynge wherfore I geve thankes.
31 Pa uluo, fyoni finomulia, nambe fyoni fino muvombagha, mu vombaghe ghoni kumo mughinia ivwimike vwa Nguluve.
Whether therfore ye eate or dryncke or what soever ye do do all to the prayse of God.
32 Namungava hosiaghe ava Yahudi nambe ava Yunani, nambe ulukong'ano lwa Nguluve.
Se that ye geve occasion of evell nether to ye Iewes nor yet to the gentyls nether to ye cogregacion of god:
33 Mughelaghe ndavule une kange ndavule nighesia pikuvahosia avaanhu vooni ku sooni. Nanilonda uluvumbulilo lwango june, looli ulwaviinga. Najune nivomba vulevule ulwakuuti vapokue.
euen as I please all men in all thinges not sekynge myne awne proffet but the proffet of many that they myght be saved. Folowe me as I do Christ.
