Xê-ca-ri-a 5
1 Đoạn, ta lại ngước mắt nhìn xem, nầy có một cuốn sách bay.
And I turn back, and lift up my eyes, and look, and behold, a flying scroll.
2 Người nói cùng ta rằng: Ngươi thấy gì? Ta trả lời rằng: Tôi thấy một cuốn sách bay, bề dài nó hai mươi cu-đê, bề ngang mười cu-đê.
And he says to me, “What are you seeing?” And I say, “I am seeing a flying scroll, its length [is] twenty by the cubit, and its breadth [is] ten by the cubit.”
3 Người bảo ta rằng: Aáy là sự rủa sả tràn ra trên khắp mặt đất: hễ ai trộm cướp sẽ bị dứt đi theo chữ trên mặt nầy của cuốn sách nầy; hễ ai thề sẽ bị dứt đi theo chữ trên mặt kia của cuốn sách nầy.
And he says to me, “This [is] the execration that is going forth over the face of all the land, for everyone who is stealing, on the one side, according to it, has been declared innocent, and everyone who has sworn, on the other side, according to it, has been declared innocent.”
4 Đức Giê-hô-va vạn quân phán rằng: Ta sẽ khiến cuốn sách nầy đi ra, nó sẽ vào trong nhà kẻ trộm, và trong nhà kẻ chỉ danh ta mà thề dối; thì nó sẽ ở giữa nhà kẻ ấy và thiêu nhà đi cả gỗ lẫn đá.
“I have brought it out,” a declaration of YHWH of Hosts, “and it has come into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who has sworn in My Name with a falsehood, and it has remained in the midst of his house, and has consumed it, both its wood and its stones.”
5 Thiên sứ nói cùng ta bèn đi ra và bảo ta rằng: Bây giờ hãy ngước mắt lên xem vật đi ra là gì.
And the messenger who is speaking with me goes forth and says to me, “Now lift up your eyes, and [do you] see what this [is] that is coming forth?”
6 Ta nói rằng: Aáy là gì? Người đáp rằng: Aáy là một cái ê-pha đương ra. Người lại nói, ấy là hình dáng chúng nó trong cả đất.
And I say, “What [is] it?” And he says, “This—the ephah that is coming forth.” And he says, “This [is] their aspect in all the land.
7 Đoạn, ta thấy một khối chi tròn được cất lên, và một người đờn bà ngồi giữa ê-pha.
And behold, a disc of lead lifted up; and this [is] a woman sitting in the midst of the ephah.”
8 Người nói rằng: Aáy đó là Sự hung ác. Rồi người quăng người đờn bà xuống vào giữa ê-pha, và chận khối chi trên miệng ê-pha.
And he says, “This [is] the wicked woman.” And he casts her into the midst of the ephah, and casts the weight of lead on its mouth.
9 Bấy giờ ta ngước mắt nhìn xem, nầy, có hai người đờn bà ra, gió thổi trong những cánh chúng nó; và chúng nó có cánh như cánh con cò; và chúng nó cất ê-pha lên giữa khoảng trời và đất.
And I lift up my eyes, and see, and behold, two women are coming forth, and wind [is] in their wings; and they have wings like wings of the stork, and they lift up the ephah between the earth and the heavens.
10 Ta hỏi thiên sứ đương nói cùng ta rằng: Chúng nó đem ê-pha đi đâu?
And I say to the messenger who is speaking with me, “To where [are] they causing the ephah to go?”
11 Người đáp cùng ta rằng: Aáy là để xây nhà cho nó trong đất Si-nê-a; khi đã sửa soạn rồi thì đặt nó vào chỗ nó.
And he says to me, “To build a house for it in the land of Shinar.” And it has been prepared and has been placed there on its base.
