1 Đức Giê-hô-va cai trị: đất hãy mừng rỡ; Các cù lao vô số khá vui vẻ.
This is to David, when his land was restored to him. The Lord has reigned, let the earth exult. Let the many islands rejoice.
2 Mây và tối tăm ở chung quanh Ngài; Sự công bình và sự ngay thẳng làm nền của ngôi Ngài.
Clouds and mist are all around him. Justice and judgment are corrections from his throne.
3 Lửa bay đi trước mặt Ngài, Thiêu đốt hết cừu địch bốn bên.
A fire will precede him, and it will enflame his enemies all around.
4 Sự chớp nhoáng Ngài soi sáng thế gian: Trái đất thấy, bèn rúng động.
His lightnings have enlightened the whole world. The earth saw, and it was shaken.
5 Các núi tan chảy như sáp trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va, Trước mặt Chúa của khắp thế gian.
The mountains flowed like wax before the face of the Lord, before the face of the Lord of all the earth.
6 Các từng trời truyền ra sự công bình Ngài, Muôn dân đã thấy sự vinh hiển Ngài.
The heavens announced his justice, and all peoples saw his glory.
7 Nguyện hết thảy kẻ hầu việc tượng chạm, Và khoe mình về các hình tượng, đều bị hổ thẹn. Hỡi các thần, khá thờ lạy Đức Giê-hô-va.
May all those who adore graven images be confounded, along with those who glory in their false images. All you his Angels: Adore him.
8 Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, Si-ôn nghe, bèn vui vẻ, Và các con gái Giu-đa đều nức lòng mừng rỡ, Vì cớ sự đoán xét của Ngài.
Zion heard, and was glad. And the daughters of Judah exulted because of your judgments, O Lord.
9 Vì, Đức Giê-hô-va ơi, Ngài là Đấng Chí cao trổi cao hơn cả trái đất; Ngài được tôn cao tuyệt các thần.
For you are the Most High Lord over all the earth. You are greatly exalted above all gods.
10 Hỡi những kẻ yêu mến Đức Giê-hô-va, hãy ghét sự ác: Ngài bảo hộ linh hồn của các thánh Ngài, Và giải cứu họ khỏi tay kẻ dữ.
You who love the Lord: hate evil. The Lord watches over the souls of his holy ones. He will free them from the hand of the sinner.
11 Aùnh sáng được bủa ra cho người công bình, Và sự vui vẻ cho người có lòng ngay thẳng.
The light has risen for the just, and joy for the upright of heart.
12 Hỡi người công bình, hãy vui mừng nơi Đức Giê-hô-va, Cảm tạ sự kỷ niệm thánh của Ngài.
Rejoice in the Lord, you just ones, and confess to the memory of his sanctuary.
