Thánh Thi 7
1 Hỡi Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời tôi, tôi nương náu mình nơi Ngài; Xin hãy cứu tôi khỏi kẻ rượt đuổi tôi, và thoát giải tôi,
“A Shiggayon of David, which he sang unto the Lord, concerning the affairs of Cush the Benjamite.” O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust; save me from every one of my persecutors, and deliver me:
2 Kẻo kẻ thù nghịch xé tôi như con sư tử, Và phân tôi từ mảnh, không ai giải cứu cho.
Lest he tear like a lion my soul, rending it in pieces, with none to deliver.
3 Hỡi Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời tôi, nhược bằng tôi đã làm điều ấy, Và có sự gian ác nơi tay tôi;
O Lord my God, if I have done this; if there be injustice in my hands;
4 Nếu tôi đã trả ác cho người ở hòa hảo cùng tôi, Và cướp lột kẻ hiếp tôi vô cớ,
If I have recompensed him that was at peace with me with evil; If I have taken aught from my assailants without cause:
5 Thì đáng cho kẻ thù nghịch đuổi theo tôi kịp Giày đạp mạng sống tôi dưới đất, Và làm rạp vinh hiển tôi xuống bụi đất.
May the enemy hotly pursue my soul, and overtake it; and tread down upon the earth my life, and cause my honor to be in the dust. (Selah)
6 Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, xin hãy nổi thạnh nộ mà chỗi dậy; Hãy dấy nghịch cùng sự giận hoảng của kẻ hiếp tôi; Khá tỉnh thức mà giúp đỡ tôi; Ngài đã truyền định sự đoán xét rồi.
Arise, O Lord, in thy anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of my enemies: and awake for me [to] the judgment that thou hast commanded.
7 Hội các dân tộc sẽ vây phủ tứ phía Ngài; Còn Ngài vì chúng phải trở lên cao.
So shall the congregation of nations compass thee about: and for their sakes return thou to the height.
8 Đức Giê-hô-va đoán xét các dân. Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, xin hãy đoán xét tôi theo sự công bình tôi, Và theo sự thanh liêm ở nơi lòng tôi.
The Lord will judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity [grant] me [recompense].
9 è, Đức Chúa Trời công bình! là Đấng dò xét lòng dạ loài người, Xin hãy khiến cùng tận sự gian ác kẻ dữ, Song hãy làm cho vững vàng người công bình.
Oh let the evil of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just, O thou, who triest the hearts and reins, O righteous God.
10 Đức Chúa Trời là cái khiên tôi, Ngài là Đấng cứu rỗi những kẻ có lòng ngay thẳng.
My protection is by God, who saveth the upright in heath.
11 Đức Chúa Trời là quan án công bình, Thật là Đức Chúa Trời hằng ngày nổi giận cùng kẻ ác.
God is a righteous judge, and a God who is indignant [with the wicked] every day.
12 Nếu kẻ ác không hối cải, thì Đức Chúa Trời sẽ mài gươm: Ngài đã giương cung mà chực cho sẵn,
If he turn not, He will whet his sword, he bendeth his bow, and maketh it ready.
13 Cũng đã vì nó sắm sửa khí giới làm chết, Và làm những tên Ngài phừng lửa.
Also for him he prepareth the instruments of death; he fashioneth his arrows against the persecutors.
14 Kìa, kẻ dữ đang đẻ gian ác; Thật nó đã hoài thai sự khuấy khỏa, và sanh điều dối trá.
Behold, he travaileth with wrong doing; but he hath conceived mischief, and bringeth forth falsehood.
15 Nó đào một hố sâu, Nhưng lại té vào hố nó đã đào.
He hath hollowed out a pit, and dug it, and is fallen into the ditch which he hath wrought.
16 Sự khuấy khỏa nó đã làm sẽ đổ lại trên đầu nó. Và sự hung hăng nó giáng trên trán nó.
His mischief will return upon his own head, and upon his own skull will his violence come down.
17 Tôi sẽ ngợi khen Đức Giê-hô-va y theo sự công bình Ngài, Và ca tụng danh Đức Giê-hô-va là Đấng Chí cao.
I will thank the Lord according to his righteousness; and I will sing praises to the name of the Lord the Most High.
