1 Tôi yêu mến Đức Giê-hô-va, vì Ngài nghe tiếng tôi, Và lời nài xin của tôi.
Alleluia. I louede `the Lord; for the Lord schal here the vois of my preier.
2 Tôi sẽ cầu khẩn Ngài trọn đời tôi, Bởi vì Ngài có nghiêng tai qua tôi.
For he bowide doun his eere to me; and Y schal inwardli clepe in my daies.
3 Dây sự chết vương vấn tôi, Sự đau đớn âm phủ áp hãm tôi, Tôi gặp sự gian truân và sự sầu khổ. (Sheol h7585)
The sorewis of deth cumpassiden me; and the perelis of helle founden me. I foond tribulacioun and sorewe; (Sheol h7585)
4 Nhưng tôi kêu cầu danh Đức Giê-hô-va, rằng: Đức Giê-hô-va ôi! cầu xin Ngài giải cứu linh hồn tôi.
and Y clepide inwardli the name of the Lord. Thou, Lord, delyuere my soule;
5 Đức Giê-hô-va hay làm ơn, và là công bình; Đức Chúa Trời chúng ta có lòng thương xót.
the Lord is merciful, and iust; and oure God doith merci.
6 Đức Giê-hô-va bảo hộ người thật thà; Tôi bị khốn khổ, Ngài bèn cứu tôi.
And the Lord kepith litle children; Y was mekid, and he delyuerede me.
7 Hỡi linh hồn ta, hãy trở về nơi an nghỉ ngươi; Vì Đức Giê-hô-va đã hậu đãi ngươi.
Mi soule, turne thou in to thi reste; for the Lord hath do wel to thee.
8 Chúa đã giải cứu linh hồn tôi khỏi chết, Mắt tôi khỏi giọt lệ, Và chân tôi khỏi vấp ngã.
For he hath delyuered my soule fro deth; myn iyen fro wepingis, my feet fro fallyng doun.
9 Tôi sẽ đi trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va Trong đất kẻ sống.
I schal plese the Lord; in the cuntrei of hem that lyuen.
10 Tôi tin, nên tôi nói. Tôi đã bị buồn thảm lắm.
I bileuede, for which thing Y spak; forsoth Y was maad low ful myche.
11 Trong cơn bối rối tôi nói rằng: Mọi người đều nói dối.
I seide in my passing; Ech man is a lier.
12 Tôi sẽ lấy gì báo đáp Đức Giê-hô-va Về các ơn lành mà Ngài đã làm cho tôi?
What schal Y yelde to the Lord; for alle thingis which he yeldide to me?
13 Tôi sẽ cầm cái chén cứu rỗi, Mà cầu khẩn danh Đức Giê-hô-va
I schal take the cuppe of heelthe; and Y schal inwardli clepe the name of the Lord.
14 Tôi sẽ trả xong cho Đức Giê-hô-va các sự tôi hứa nguyện, Tại trước mặt cả dân sự Ngài.
I schal yelde my vowis to the Lord bifor al his puple;
15 Sự chết của các người thánh. Là quí báu trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va.
the deth of seyntis of the Lord is precious in his siyt.
16 Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, tôi thật là tôi tớ Ngài; Tôi là tôi tớ Ngài, con trai con đòi của Ngài; Ngài đã mở lòi tói tôi.
O! Lord, for Y am thi seruant; Y am thi seruaunt, and the sone of thi handmaide. Thou hast broke my bondys,
17 Tôi sẽ dâng của lễ thù ân cho Chúa, Và cầu khẩn danh Đức Giê-hô-va.
to thee Y schal offre a sacrifice of heriyng; and Y schal inwardli clepe the name of the Lord.
18 Tôi sẽ trả xong cho Đức Giê-hô-va các sự tôi hứa nguyện, Tại trước mặt cả dân sự Ngài,
I schal yelde my vowis to the Lord, in the siyt of al his puple;
19 Trong hành lang của nhà Đức Giê-hô-va, ỳ giữa Giê-ru-sa-lem. Ha-lê-lu-gia!
in the porchis of the hous of the Lord, in the myddil of thee, Jerusalem.
