Ai Ca 3
1 Ta là người đã thấy khốn khổ bởi gậy thạnh nộ của Ngài.
ALEPH. I am the man that sees poverty, through the rod of his wrath upon me.
2 Ngài đã dắt ta và khiến ta bước đi trong tối tăm, chẳng bước đi trong sáng láng.
He has taken me, and led me away into darkness, and not [into] light.
3 Chắc Ngài trở tay cả ngày nghịch cùng ta nhiều lần.
Nay, against me has he turned his hand all the day.
4 Ngài đã làm hao mòn thịt và da, đã bẻ gãy xương ta,
He has made old my flesh and my skin; he has broken my bones.
5 Đã xây đắp nghịch cùng ta, vây ta bằng mật đắng và sự nhọc nhằn,
BETH. He has built against me, and compassed my head, and brought travail [upon me].
6 Khiến ta ở trong nơi tối tăm, như người đã chết từ lâu đời.
He has set me in dark places, as them that have long been dead.
7 Ngài đã bao bọc ta bằng tường, mà không cho ra; lại làm cho nặng xiềng ta.
He has builded against me, and I can’t come forth: he has made my brazen [chain] heavy.
8 Khi ta kêu la và xin cứu, Ngài bịt tai chẳng nghe lời cầu nguyện;
GIMEL. Yes, [though] I cry and shout, he shuts out my prayer.
9 Lấy những đá đẽo lấp lối ta; Ngài đã làm cho đường nẻo ta quanh quẹo.
DALETH. He has built up my ways, he has hedged my paths;
10 Ngài đối với ta như gấu rình rập, như sư tử nơi kín đáo;
he has troubled me, [as] a she-bear lying in wait: he is to me [as] a lion in secret places.
11 Khiến ta lạc đường và vồ xé ta, cho ta phải sầu não.
He pursued [me] after I departed, and brought me to a stand: he has utterly ruined me.
12 Ngài đã giương cung và chọn ta làm tròng cho tên Ngài.
HE. He has bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.
13 Ngài đã khiến tên trong bao Ngài vào trái cật ta:
He has caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.
14 Ta làm trò cười cho cả dân ta, họ lấy ta làm bài hát cả ngày.
I became a laughing stock to all my people; and their song all the day.
15 Ngài đã cho ta đầy dẫy sự đắng cay, cho ta no nê bằng ngải cứu.
VAU. He has filled me with bitterness, he has drenched me with gall.
16 Ngài đã lấy sỏi bẻ răng ta; vùi ta vào trong tro.
And he has dashed out my teeth with gravel, he has fed me with ashes.
17 Ngài khiến hồn ta xa sự bình an, ta đã quên phước lành.
He has also removed my soul from peace: I forgot prosperity.
18 Ta rằng: Hết sức mạnh ta, dứt lòng trông đợi Đức Giê-hô-va.
Therefore my success has perished, and my hope from the Lord.
19 Hãy nhớ đến sự hoạn nạn khốn khổ ta, là ngải cứu và mật đắng.
ZAIN. I remembered by reason of my poverty, and because of persecution my bitterness and gall shall be remembered;
20 Hồn ta còn nhớ đến, và hao mòn trong ta.
and my soul shall meditate with me.
21 Ta nhớ lại sự đó, thì có sự trông mong:
This will I lay up in my heart, therefore I will endure.
22 Aáy là nhờ sự nhân từ Đức Giê-hô-va mà chúng ta chưa tuyệt. Vì sự thương xót của Ngài chẳng dứt.
HETH. [It is] the mercies of the Lord, that he has not failed me, because his compassions are not exhausted. Pity [us], O Lord, early [every] month: for we are not brought to an end, because his compassions are not exhausted.
23 Mỗi buổi sáng thì lại mới luôn, sự thành tín Ngài là lớn lắm.
[They are] new every morning: great is your faithfulness.
24 Hồn ta nói: Đức Giê-hô-va là cơ nghiệp ta, nên ta để lòng trông cậy nơi Ngài.
The Lord is my portion, says my soul; therefore will I wait for him.
25 Đức Giê-hô-va ban sự nhân từ cho những kẻ trông đợi Ngài, cho linh hồn tìm cầu Ngài.
TETH. The Lord is good to them that wait for him: the soul which shall seek him
26 Thật tốt cho người trông mong và yên lặng đợi chờ sự cứu rỗi của Đức Giê-hô-va.
[is] good, and shall wait for, and quietly expect salvation of the Lord.
27 Thật tốt cho người mang ách lúc trẻ thơ.
TETH. [It is] good for a man when he bears a yoke in his youth.
28 Phải, nó phải ngồi một mình và làm thinh, vì Ngài đã gán ách trên mình.
He will sit alone, and be silent, because he has borne [it] upon him.
29 Nó khá để miệng trong bụi đất! hoặc giả sẽ có sự trông mong.
30 Nó khá đưa má ra cho kẻ vả, khá chịu đầy nhuốc nhơ.
JOD. He will give [his] cheek to him that smites him: he will be filled full with reproaches.
31 Vì Chúa chẳng hề bỏ cho đến đời đời.
For the Lord will not reject for ever.
32 Dầu Ngài đã làm cho lo buồn, còn sẽ thương xót theo sự dư dật của lòng nhân từ Ngài;
CHAPH. For he that has brought down will pity, and [that] according to the abundance of his mercy.
33 Vì ấy là chẳng phải bổn tâm Ngài làm cho con cái loài người cực khổ và buồn rầu.
He has not answered [in anger] from his heart, though he has brought low the children of a man.
34 Khi người ta giày đạp mọi kẻ tù trong đất,
LAMED. To bring down under his feet all the prisoners of the earth,
35 Khi uốn cong lý đoán của người trước mặt Đấng Rất Cao,
to turn aside the judgement of a man before the face of the Most High,
36 Khi điên đảo ai trong sự xét đoán, thì Chúa chẳng ưng chịu.
to condemn a man [unjustly] in his judgement, the Lord has not given commandment.
37 Nếu chẳng phải Chúa truyền lịnh, ai hay nói ra và sự ấy được thành?
Who has thus spoken, and it has come to pass? the Lord has not commanded it.
38 Há chẳng phải từ miệng Đấng Rất Cao ra tai họa và phước lành?
Out of the mouth of the Most High there shall not come forth evil and good.
39 Cớ sao người đang sống phàn nàn vì chịu hình phạt về tội lỗi mình?
MEM. Why should a living man complain, a man concerning his sin?
40 Chúng ta hãy xét và thử đường mình, trở về cùng Đức Giê-hô-va.
NUN. Our way has been searched out and examined, and we will turn to the Lord.
41 Chúng ta hãy giơ lòng và tay lên đến Đức Chúa Trời trên trời.
Let us lift up our hearts with [our] hand to the lofty One in heaven.
42 Chúng tôi đã phạm phép, đã bạn nghịch; Ngài đã chẳng dung thứ!
We have sinned, we have transgressed; and you have not pardoned.
43 Ngài lấy giận che mình và đuổi theo chúng tôi, giết lát chúng tôi, chẳng thương xót.
SAMECH. You has visited [us] in wrath, and driven us away: you has slain, you has not pitied.
44 Ngài ẩn mình trong mây, đến nỗi chẳng lời cầu nguyện nào thấu qua được.
You have veiled yourself with a cloud because of prayer, that I might be blind,
45 Ngài làm chúng tôi ra của bỏ, ra đồ rác rến trong dân sự.
and be cast off. AIN. You have set us [alone] in the midst of the nations.
46 Mọi kẻ nghịch thù hả miệng rộng nghịch cùng chúng tôi.
All our enemies have opened their mouth against us.
47 Chúng tôi đã mắc sự sợ hãi, hầm hố, hủy diệt, và hư hại.
Fear and wrath are come upon us, suspense and destruction.
48 Mắt tôi chảy dòng nước, vì gái dân tôi mắc diệt vong.
Mine eye shall pour down torrents of water, for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
49 Mắt tôi tuôn nước mắt, không thôi cũng không ngớt,
PHE. Mine eye is drowned [with tears], and I will not be silent, so that there shall be no rest,
50 Cho đến chừng nào Đức Giê-hô-va đoái xem, từ trên trời ngó xuống.
until the Lord look down, and behold from heaven.
51 Mắt tôi làm khổ linh hồn tôi, vì mọi con gái của thành tôi.
Mine eye shall prey upon my soul, because of all the daughters of the city.
52 Những kẻ vô cớ thù nghịch tôi đã đuổi tôi như đuổi chim.
TSADE. The fowlers chased me as a sparrow, all mine enemies destroyed my life in a pit without cause,
53 Họ muốn giết tôi nơi ngục tối, và ném đá trên tôi.
and laid a stone upon me.
54 Nước lên ngập đầu tôi, tôi nói: Ta phải chết mất!
Water flowed over my head: I said, I am cut off.
55 Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, tôi từ nơi ngục tối rất sâu kêu cầu danh Ngài.
KOPH. I called upon your name, O Lord, out of the lowest dungeon.
56 Ngài chúng con đã nghe tiếng tôi, xin đừng bịt tai khỏi hơi thở và lời kêu van tôi.
You heard my voice: close not your ears to my supplication.
57 Ngày tôi cầu Ngài, Ngài đã đến gần tôi, đã phán cùng tôi: Chớ sợ hãi chi!
You drew near to my help: in the day wherein I called upon you you said to me, Fear not.
58 Hỡi Chúa, Ngài đã đối nại việc hồn tôi, là Đấng chuộc mạng tôi.
RECHS. O Lord, you has pleaded the causes of my soul; you has redeemed my life.
59 Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, Ngài đã thấy người ta hiếp đáp tôi: xin đoán xét việc tôi!
You have seen, O Lord, my troubles: you have judged my cause.
60 Chúng nó báo thù, lập mưu hại tôi, thì Ngài đã thấy hết.
You have seen all their vengeance, [you have looked] on all their devices against me.
61 Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, Ngài đã nghe chúng nó sỉ nhục, bày mọi mưu chước nghịch cùng tôi.
CHSEN. You have heard their reproach [and] all their devices against me;
62 Những môi miếng của kẻ dấy nghịch cùng tôi và mưu kế lập ra hại tôi cả ngày.
the lips of them that rose up against me, and their plots against me all the day;
63 Xin Ngài xem sự ngồi xuống và đứng dậy của chúng nó; tôi là bài hát của chúng nó.
their sitting down and their rising up: look you upon their eyes.
64 Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, Ngài sẽ báo trả chúng nó tùy theo việc tay chúng nó làm.
You will render them a recompense, O Lord, according to the works of their hands.
65 Ngài sẽ ban lòng cứng cỏi cho chúng nó, sự rủa sả giáng trên chúng nó.
THAU. You will give them [as] a covering, the grief of my heart.
66 Ngài sẽ lấy cơn giận và đuổi theo, hủy hoại chúng nó khỏi dưới trời của Đức Giê-hô-va.
You will persecute them in anger, and will consume them from under the heaven, O Lord.
