Giô-sua 18

1 Cả hội chúng dân Y-sơ-ra-ên nhóm hiệp tại Si-lô, và lập hội mạc tại đó: xứ đều phục trước mặt họ.

And alle the sones of Israel weren gaderid in Silo, and there thei `settiden faste the tabernacle of witnessing; and the lond was suget to hem.

2 Nhưng trong dân Y-sơ-ra-ên còn lại bảy chi phái mà người ta chưa phân phát phần sản nghiệp cho.

Sotheli seuene linagis of the sones of Israel dwelliden, that hadden not yit takun her possessiouns.

3 Giô-suê bèn nói cùng dân Y-sơ-ra-ên rằng: Các ngươi lần lữa cho đến chừng nào, không đi chiếm xứ mà Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời của tổ phụ các ngươi ban cho các ngươi?

To whiche Josue seide, Hou longe faden ye `bi cowardise, `ethir slouthe, and entren not to welde the lond, which the Lord God of youre fadris yaf to you?

4 Hãy chọn từng chi phái ba người, rồi ta sẽ sai đi; các người này sẽ đứng dậy đi khắp xứ, lấy địa đồ để phân chia, rồi sẽ trở về cùng ta.

Chese ye of ech lynage thre men, that Y sende hem, and thei go, and cumpasse the lond; and that thei discryue `the lond bi the noumbre of ech multitude, and brynge to me that, that ye han discriued.

5 Họ sẽ chia xứ làm bảy phần; Giu-đa sẽ ở trong giới hạn mình nơi miền nam; còn nhà Giô-sép ở trong giới hạn mình nơi miền bắc.

Departe ye the lond to you in to seuene partis; Judas be in hise termes at the south coost, and `the hows of Joseph at the north;

6 Vậy, các ngươi hãy lấy địa đồ của xứ làm bảy phần, đem về đây cho ta; rồi ta sẽ bắt thăm cho các ngươi tại đây trước Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời chúng ta.

discryue ye `the myddil lond bitwixe hem in to seuene partis; and thanne ye schulen come to me, that Y sende lot to you here bifor youre Lord God;

7 Nhưng không có phần cho người Lê-vi tại giữa các ngươi; bởi vì chức tế lễ của Đức Giê-hô-va là sản nghiệp của các người đó; còn Gát, Ru-bên, và phân nửa chi phái Ma-na-se đã lãnh phần sản nghiệp mà Môi-se, tôi tớ của Đức Giê-hô-va, đã ban cho họ ở bên kia sông Giô-đanh về phía đông.

8 Vậy, các người ấy đứng dậy đi; Giô-suê truyền lịnh cho các người đi đặng lấy địa đồ của xứ, mà rằng: Hãy đi khắp xứ lấy địa đồ, rồi trở về cùng ta; ta sẽ bắt thăm tại đây cho các ngươi trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va ở Si-lô.

And whanne the men hadden rise to go, to discryue the lond, Josue comaundide to hem, and seide, Cumpasse ye the lond, and discryue it, and turne ayen to me, that Y sende lot to you here in Silo, bifore youre Lord God.

9 Các người ấy bèn đi khắp xứ, vẽ địa đồ trên một quyển sách chia làm bảy phần, tùy theo các thành; rồi trở về cùng Giô-suê ở trại quân tại Si-lô.

And so thei yeden, and cumpassiden that lond, and departiden `in to seuene partis, writynge in a book; and thei turneden ayen to Josue, in to the castels in Silo.

10 Giô-suê bèn bắt thăm cho chúng tại Si-lô, trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va; tại đó Giô-suê chia xứ ra cho dân Y-sơ-ra-ên, tùy theo các chi phái của họ.

Which Josue sente lottis bifor the Lord God in Silo, and departide the lond to the sones of Israel, in to seuene partis.

11 Thăm trúng nhằm chi phái Bên-gia-min, tùy theo những họ hàng của chúng, và địa phận mà thăm chỉ định, ở nhằm giữa chi phái Giu-đa và chi phái Giô-sép.

And the firste lot of the sones of Beniamyn, bi her meynees, stiede, that thei schulden welde the lond bitwixe the sones of Juda and the sones of Joseph.

12 Giới hạn của Bên-gia-min về phía bắc chạy từ Giô-đanh, đi lên phía sau Giê-ri-cô về hướng bắc; đoạn bò lên núi, rồi giáp đồng vắng Bết-A-ven.

13 Từ đó giới hạn đi ngang sau lưng Lu-xơ, cũng gọi là Bê-tên, tại phía nam, rồi chạy xuống A-ta-rốt-A-đa ở gần núi về phía nam Bết-Hô-rôn dưới.

and it passide bisidis Luza to the south; thilke is Bethel; and it goith doun in to Astoroth Adar, in to the hil which is at the south of lowere Betheron; and is bowid,

14 Giới hạn giăng vòng từ phía tây về hướng nam, tức từ núi đối ngang Bết-Hô-rôn về phía nam; rồi giáp Ki-ri-át-Ba-anh, tức là Ki-ri-át-Giê-a-rim, thành của người Giu-đa. Đó là miền tây.

and cumpassith ayens the see, at the south of the hil that biholdith Betheron ayens the north; and the outgoyngis therof ben in to Cariathbaal, which is clepid also Cariathiarym, the citee of the sones of Juda; this is the greet coost ayens the see, at the west.

15 Miền nam khởi từ đầu Ki-ri-át-Giê-a-rim; giới hạn cứ chạy về phía tây, thẳng đến suối nước Nép-thô-ách;

Sotheli fro the south, bi the part of Cariathiarym, the terme goith out ayens the see, and cometh til to the wel of watris of Nepthoa;

16 rồi nó xuống đến đuôi núi nằm ngang trũng con trai Hi-nôm ở trong trũng Rê-pha-im, tại phía bắc; nó chạy xuống dọc theo trũng Hi-nôm ở sau lưng Giê-bu-sít, về phía nam, đoạn xuống đến Eân-Rô-ghên.

and it goith doun in to the part of the hil that biholdith the valei of the sones of Ennon, and is ayens the north coost, in the laste part of the valey of Raphaym; and Jehennon, that is, the valei of Ennon, goith doun bi the side of Jebusei, at the south, and cometh to the welle of Rogel,

17 Giới hạn chạy về hướng bắc đến Eân-Sê-mết; từ đó thẳng về Ghê-li-lốt ở đối ngang dốc A-đu-mim, rồi chạy xuống đến hòn đá Bô-han, là con trai Ru-bên;

and passith to the north, and goith out to Emsemes, that is, the welle of the sunne,

18 đoạn, nó đi ngang A-ra-ba về hướng bắc, và chạy xuống A-ra-ba.

and passith to the litle hillis that ben ayens the stiyng of Adomyn; and it goith doun to Taben Boen, that is, the stoon of Boen, sone of Ruben, and passide bi the side of the north to the feeldi places; and it goith doun in to the pleyn,

19 Giới hạn liền đi ngang qua phía sau Bết-Hốt-la về hướng bắc, rồi giáp phía Biển mặn về hướng bắc ở đầu phía nam của sông Giô-đanh. Đó là giới hạn về phía nam.

and passith forth ayens the north to Bethagala; and the outgoyngis therof ben ayens the arm of the salteste see, fro the north, in the ende of Jordan at the south coost,

20 Về phía đông nó giáp sông Giô-đanh. Đó là sản nghiệp của con cháu Bên-gia-min, và giới hạn về bốn phía, tùy theo những họ hàng của chúng.

which is the terme therof fro the eest. This is the possessioun of the sones of Beniamyn, bi her termes in cumpas, and bi her meynees;

21 Các thành của chi phái Bên-gia-min, tùy theo những họ hàng của chúng, là: Giê-ri-cô, Bết-Hôt-la, Ê-méc-kê-sít,

and the citees therof weren Jerico, and Bethagla, and the valei of Casis,

22 Bết-a-ra-ba, Xê-ma-ra-im, Bê-tên,

Betharacha, and Samaraym,

23 A-vim, Pha-ra, Oùp-ra,

and Bethel, and Anym, and Affara,

24 Kê-pha-A-mô-nai, Oùp-ni, và Ghê-ba: hết thảy mười hai thành và các làng của nó;

and Offira, the toun of Hesmona, and Offym, and Gabee, twelue citees, and `the townes of tho;

25 Ga-ba-ôn, Ra-ma, Bê-ê-rốt,

Gabaon, and Rama,

26 Mít-bê, Kê-phi-ra, Một-sa,

and Beroth, and Mesphe, and Caphera, and Ammosa,

27 Rê-kem, Giệt-bê-ên, Tha-rê-a-la,

and Recem, Jarephel, and Tharela,

28 Xê-la, Ê-lép, Giê-bu, tức là Giê-ru-sa-lem, Ghi-bê-át, Ki-ri-át: hết thảy mười bốn thành với các làng của nó. Đó là sản nghiệp của con cháu Bên-gia-min, tùy theo những họ hàng của chúng.

and Sela, Heleph, and Jebus, which is Jerusalem, Gabaath, and Cariath, fouretene citees and `the townes of tho; this is the possessioun of the sones of Beniamyn, bi her meynees.
