Ê-xê-ki-ên 26
1 Năm thứ mười một, ngày mồng một đầu tháng, có lời Đức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta rằng:
And it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first day of the month, that the word bf Jehovah came to me, saying:
2 Hỡi con người, Ty-rơ đã nói về Giê-ru-sa-lem rằng: Hay! hay! thành làm cửa của các dân, đã vỡ nát rồi! Nó đã trở về cùng ta; rày nó đã trở nên hoang vu, thì ta sẽ được đầy dẫy.
Son of man, because Tyre hath said against Jerusalem, “Aha! she is broken that was the gate of the nations; now is all transferred to me; I shall be full, now that she is desolate!”
3 Vậy nên, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán rằng: Hỡi Ty-rơ! Nầy, ta địch cùng mầy. Ta sẽ khiến nhiều nước dấy nghịch cùng mầy, như sóng biển dấy lên vậy.
therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Tyre, and I will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.
4 Chúng nó sẽ hủy phá những vách thành Ty-rơ, và Xô-đổ tháp của nó; ta sẽ cào bụi, khiến nó làm một vầng đá sạch láng.
And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre, and break down her towers; and I will scrape off her earth from her, and make her like a naked rock.
5 Nó sẽ làm một chỗ người ta phơi lưới ở giữa biển; vì Chúa Giê-hô-va phán rằng: Ta đã phán. Nó sẽ làm mồi của các nước.
She shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah. And she shall be to the nations for a spoil;
6 Các con gái nó ở đồng ruộng nó sẽ bị giết bằng gươm; và chúng nó sẽ biết rằng ta là Đức Giê-hô-va.
and her daughters that are upon the land shall be slain by the sword; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
7 Vì Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Nầy, ta sẽ đem Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa, vua Ba-by-lôn, là vua của các vua, với những ngựa, những xe, những lính kỵ, cùng đạo quân, và dân đông từ phương bắc đến nghịch cùng thành Ty-rơ.
For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will bring against Tyre Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, a king of kings from the North, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and a vast multitude of people.
8 Người sẽ dùng gươm giết các con gái của mầy ngoài đồng ruộng, sẽ lập đồn đắp lũy, và dấy cái thuẫn lên nghịch cùng mầy.
Thy daughters upon the land shall he slay with the sword; and he shall set a tower against thee, and cast up a mound against thee, and lift up the buckler against thee;
9 Người sẽ đặt máy phá vách thành, và dùng búa phá các tháp mầy.
and his battering-rams shall be set against thy walls, and thy towers shall he break down with axes.
10 Ngựa của người nhiều lắm đến nỗi bụi đất che mầy đi. Các vách thành mầy rúng động vì tiếng của lính kỵ, của xe chở đồ, và của xe binh, khi kẻ nghịch vào bởi các cửa mầy, như vào trong một thành đã bị thua.
By reason of the great number of his horses, their dust shall cover thee; thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he entereth into thy gates, as men enter into a city that is broken through.
11 Người sẽ dẵm vó ngựa trên các đường phố mầy; người sẽ giết dân mầy bằng gươm, và những trụ của sức mạnh mầy sẽ bị ném xuống đất.
With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets; thy people he shall slay with the sword; and the idols of thy strength shall fall to the ground.
12 Đoạn, quân nghịch mầy sẽ lấy của báu mầy, cướp hàng hóa mầy, phá đổ vách thành mầy; chúng nó sẽ phá đền đài mầy, và quăng những đá, gỗ, và bụi đất của mầy dưới nước.
And they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise; and they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy beautiful houses; and thy stones and thy timber and thine earth shall they lay in the midst of the waters.
13 Ta sẽ làm cho dứt tiếng hát của mầy, và người ta sẽ không còn nghe tiếng đàn cầm của mầy nữa.
And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease, and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard.
14 Ta sẽ khiến mầy nên vầng đá sạch láng; mầy sẽ nên một chỗ người ta phơi lưới, và không được cất dựng lại nữa; vì ta là Đức Giê-hô-va đã phán, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán vậy.
And I will make thee like a naked rock; thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more; for I, Jehovah, have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah.
15 Chúa Giê-hô-va phán cùng thành Ty-rơ rằng: Nghe tiếng mầy đổ xuống, kẻ bị thương rên siếc, sự giết lát làm ra giữa mầy, các cù lao nghe vậy, há chẳng rúng động sao?
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to Tyre: Behold, the isles shall shake at the sound of thy fall, at the groaning of the wounded, and at the slaughter which is made in the midst of thee.
16 Hết thảy các quan trưởng miền biển điều xuống khỏi ngai mình; cổi áo chầu ra, và lột bỏ những áo thêu. Họ như là mang lấy sự run rẩy và ngồi xuống đất. Họ sẽ sợ sệt luôn, và lấy làm lạ vì cớ mầy.
And all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay aside their mantles, and put off their embroidered garments. They shall clothe themselves with trembling, and sit on the ground, and tremble every moment, and be astonished at thee.
17 Họ sẽ vì mầy hát bài ca thương, mà nói cùng mầy rằng: Hỡi thành có tiếng, vững bền ở giữa biển, là chỗ người đi biển ở; nó với dân cư nó làm cho hết thảy người ở đó khiếp sợ, mầy bị hủy phá là dường nào!
And they shall utter a lamentation over thee, and say to thee, “How art thou destroyed, thou that wast peopled from the seas, the renowned city, that wast mighty upon the sea, thou and thine inhabitants, causing terror to all that dwelt near thee!”
18 Bây giờ các cù lao sẽ run rẩy nơi ngày mầy đổ nát, và các cù lao trong biển sẽ kinh khiếp về sự diệt mất của mầy!
Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall quake at thy departure.
19 Thật thế, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Khi ta sẽ làm cho mầy ra thành hoang vu, như những thành không có dân ở; khi ta sẽ khiến sóng của vực sâu phủ lên trên mầy, và các dòng nước lớn che lấp mầy,
For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited, when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee,
20 bấy giờ ta sẽ khiến mầy với những kẻ đã xuống hố đến cùng dân đời xưa. Ta sẽ khiến mầy ở trong những nơi rất thấp của đất, trong những chỗ hoang vu từ đời xưa, với những kẻ đã xuống hố, hầu cho mầy không có dân ở nữa; song ta sẽ đặt vinh hiển trong đất người sống.
I will bring thee down to them that have gone down to the pit, to the people of old time, and I will cause thee to dwell in the lower parts of the earth, amid the ruins of ancient times, with them that have gone down to the pit, that thou be no more inhabited; but I will set glory in the land of the living.
21 Ta sẽ dùng mầy làm một sự kinh khiếp. Mầy sẽ không còn nữa; và dầu người ta tìm mầy, sẽ không hề thấy mầy nữa, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán vậy.
I will make thee a desolation, and thou shalt be no more; though thou be sought for, thou shalt be found no more forever, saith the Lord Jehovah.
