Ê-xê-ki-ên 22
1 Có lời Đức Giê-hô-va được phán cùng ta rằng:
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
2 Hỡi con người, có phải ngươi sẽ đoán xét, có phải ngươi sẽ đoán xét thành huyết nầy chăng? thì hãy làm cho nó biết mọi sự gớm ghiếc của nó.
Thou therefore son of man, Wilt thou judge wilt thou judge the city of bloodshed; and cause her to know all her abominations?
3 Hãy nói cùng nó rằng: Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Một thành đổ máu ở giữa nó, hầu cho k” nó đến, và làm ra thần tượng nghịch cùng mình để làm ô uế mình!
Thou shalt say then Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, A city shedding blood in her own midst That her time might come, Therefore hath she been making manufactured gods for herself, to be defiled.
4 Bởi máu mầy đã đổ ra, mầy tự chuốc lấy tội, và bởi các thần tượng mà mầy đã làm thì mầy tự làm ô uế. Như vậy mầy đã làm cho những ngày mầy gần và những năm mầy đến. Vậy nên, ta đã lấy mầy làm sự hổ nhuốc cho các dân tộc, làm trò cười nhạo cho hết thảy các nước.
Because of the blood which thou hast shed, hast thou become guilty. And with the manufactured gods which thou hast made, hast thou defiled thyself, Thus hast thou brought near thy days, And hast come unto thy years, — For this cause, have I delivered thee As a reproach to the nations, And as a derision to all the lands.
5 Những người ở gần và ở xa sẽ nhạo cười mầy, là thành nhơ danh và đầy loạn.
They who are near and they who are far off from thee shall shew themselves derisive over thee, — O thou of impure name, abounding in confusion!
6 Hãy xem: các quan trưởng Y-sơ-ra-ên ở trong mầy, ai nấy đều theo sức mình để làm đổ máu.
Lo! the princes of Israel, every man for his own arm, have they been in thee, For the sake of shedding blood.
7 Nơi mầy, người ta khinh cha mẹ; nơi mầy, người ta dùng sự bạo ngược đối với khách lạ; nơi mầy, người ta hiếp đáp kẻ mồ côi cùng người góa bụa.
Father and mother, have they despised in thee, To the sojourner, have they dealt with oppression in the midst of thee, — The fatherless and the widow, have they maltreated in thee:
8 Mầy khinh dể các vật thánh ta, và phạm các ngày sa-bát ta!
My holy things, hast thou despised, - And my sabbaths, hast thou profaned:
9 Nơi mầy, có những kẻ gièm chê gây nên sự đổ máu; nơi mầy, có kẻ làm tiệc trên các núi; giữa mầy, có kẻ phạm tội tà dâm.
Slanders, have arisen in thee For the sake of shedding blood, - And unto the mountains, have they eaten in thee, Lewdness, have they practised in the midst of thee:
10 Nơi mầy, có kẻ bày tỏ sự lõa lồ của cha ra; nơi mầy, có kẻ làm nhục đàn bà đang có kinh nguyệt.
A father’s shame hath been uncovered in thee, Her that was unclean in her removal, have they humbled in thee;
11 Nơi mầy, kẻ nầy phạm sự gớm ghiếc với vợ người lân cận mình; kẻ khác làm ô uế dâu mình; kẻ khác nữa thì hãm chị em mình, là con gái của cha mình.
And, one man, with the wife of his neighbour, hath wrought abomination, And another, hath defiled, his daughter-in-law, by shameful deed, — And another, his own sister daughter of his own father, hath humbled in thee:
12 Nơi mầy, người ta nhận của hối lộ đặng làm đổ máu; mầy đã lấy lời lãi và lấy thêm; mầy ức hiếp kẻ lân cận, lấy của không biết chán, và đã quên ta, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán vậy.
Bribes, have they accepted in thee, For the sake of shedding blood, -Interest and increase, hast thou accepted And thou hast overreached thy neighbour by oppression, And me, hast thou forgotten, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
13 Vả, ta đập tay vì sự trộm cướp mầy đã phạm, và vì máu đã bị đổ ra giữa mầy.
Lo! therefore I have smitten my hand, At thine unjust gain which thou hast made— And over thy bloodshed, which they have caused in thy midst.
14 Khi những ngày ta xử mầy sẽ đến, lòng mầy có chịu được, và tay mầy có sức chăng? Ta, Đức Giê-hô-va, đã nói ra thì sẽ làm trọn.
Can thy heart endure or can thy hands be strong in the days when I am dealing with thee? I. Yahweh have spoken and will perform.
15 Ta sẽ làm cho mầy tan tác giữa các dân tộc, chia rẽ ra trong các nước, và ta sẽ làm tiêu diệt sự ô uế khỏi giữa mầy.
Therefore will I disperse thee among the nations, And scatter thee throughout the lands, — And will cause to cease thine impurity out of thee;
16 Bấy giờ chính mình mầy sẽ bị khinh dể trước mắt các dân tộc, và mầy sẽ biết rằng ta là Đức Giê-hô-va.
So shalt thou be profaned in thyself, before the eyes of nations, Thus shalt thou know that, I, am Yahweh.
17 Có lời Đức Giê-hô-va được phán cùng ta rằng:
Then came the word of Yahweh unto me, saying:
18 Hỡi con người, nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên đã trở nên cho ta như là cáu cặn; hết thảy chúng nó chỉ là đồng, thiếc, sắt, chì trong lò, ấy là cáu cặn của bạc.
Son of man, The house of Israel hath become to me, dross, — They all are copper and tin and iron and lead in the midst of a furnace, The dross of silver, have they become.
19 Vậy nên, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Vì các ngươi hết thảy đã trở nên cáu cặn, cho nên, nầy, ta sẽ nhóm các ngươi lại giữa Giê-ru-sa-lem.
Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Because ye all are become dross, Therefore, behold me! gathering you into the midst of Jerusalem:
20 Như người ta hiệp bạc, đồng sắt, chì thiếc lại trong lò, và thổi lửa ở trên cho tan chảy ra thể nào, thì trong cơn giận và sự thạnh nộ của ta, ta sẽ nhóm các ngươi lại và đặt vào lò mà làm cho tan chảy ra cũng thể ấy.
As they gather silver and copper and iron and lead and tin into the midst of a furnace, to blow upon it the fire to melt it, So, will I gather in mine anger and in mine indignation, and will let be and will melt you;
21 Thật, ta sẽ nhóm các ngươi lại và thổi lửa của cơn giận ta trên các ngươi, thì các ngươi sẽ tan chảy ra giữa nó.
Yea I will gather you together, and blow upon you, with the fire of my wrath, — And ye shall be melted in the midst thereof:
22 Như bạc tan chảy ra trong lò, thì các ngươi cũng sẽ tan chảy ra giữa thành ấy, và các ngươi sẽ biết rằng ta, Đức Giê-hô-va đã đổ cơn thạnh nộ ta trên các ngươi.
As silver is melted in he midst of a furnace, So, shall ye be melted in the midst thereof, — Then shall ye know that, I Yahweh, have poured out mine indignation upon you.
23 Lại có lời Đức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta rằng:
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
24 Hỡi con người, hãy nói cùng nó rằng: Mầy là đất chẳng được tẩy sạch, nơi ngày thạnh nộ chẳng được mưa dào.
Son of man, say to her. Thou, art a land, that is not to be rained upon, nor to receive fruitful showers, in the day of indignation.
25 Những tiên tri của nó lập mưu giữa nó; như sư tử hay gầm cắn xé mồi của nó, chúng nó nuốt các linh hồn, cướp lấy của cải và những vật quí, làm cho kẻ góa bụa thêm nhiều ra giữa thành.
Because her princes in her midst are like a roaring lion rending prey, — Life, have they devoured Wealth and precious things, have they been wont to take, Her widows, have they multiplied in her midst.
26 Các thầy tế lễ nó phạm luật pháp ta, và làm dơ vật thánh ta; chẳng phân biệt cái gì là thánh, cái gì là tục; chẳng khiến người ta phân biệt cái gì là ô uế, cái gì là tinh sạch; nhắm mắt chẳng xem các ngày sa-bát ta, và ta bị nói phạm giữa chúng nó.
Her priests have done violence to my law And have profaned my holy things, Between the hallowed and the common, have they put no difference, And between the unclean and clean, have they not taught men to discern, - And from my sabbaths, have they hid their eyes, So that I have been profaned in their midst.
27 Các quan trưởng ở giữa nó giống như muông sói xé mồi, chỉ lo làm đổ máu, làm mất linh hồn, để được lợi bất nghĩa.
Her rulers within her have been like wolves, rending prey, - In shedding blood In destroying lives, For the sake of getting dishonest gain.
28 Các tiên tri nó dùng bùn không pha rơm trét cho chúng nó; thấy sự hiện thấy giả dối, và bói khoa sự dối cho chúng nó, mà rằng: Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vậy, song Đức Giê-hô-va chưa hề phán.
And her prophets have coated it for them with whitewash, Seeing visions of falsehood And divining for them lies, Saying, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, when Yahweh, hath not spoken.
29 Dân trong đất làm sự bạo ngược, phạm sự trộm cướp, khuấy rối kẻ nghèo nàn thiếu thốn, và ức hiếp người trú ngụ cách trái phép.
The people of the land have exacted oppression, and seized plunder, - Even the afflicted and the needy, have they maltreated, And the sojourner have they oppressed without justice.
30 Ta đã tìm một người trong vòng chúng nó, đặng xây lại tường thành, vì đất mà đứng chỗ sứt mẻ trước mặt ta, hầu cho ta không hủy diệt nó; song ta chẳng tìm được một ai.
Then sought I from among them, a man Who could build up a wall And stand in the breach before me in behalf of the land So that I might not destroy her, — But I found none.
31 Vậy nên ta đổ cơn thạnh nộ trên chúng nó, và lấy lửa giận của ta đốt chúng nó; ta đã làm cho đường lối của chúng nó lại đổ về trên đầu chúng nó, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán vậy.
Therefore have I poured out upon them mine indignation, In the fire of mine outburst, have I consumed them, — Their way, upon their own head, have I placed Declareth, My Lord Yahweh.
