Xê-ca-ri-a 11
1 Hỡi Li-ban, khá mở các cửa ngươi, cho lửa thiêu nuốt những cây bá hương ngươi!
Open thy doores, O Lebanon, and the fire shall deuoure thy cedars.
2 Hỡi cây thông, hãy kêu la! vì cây bá hương đã ngã, những cây tốt đẹp đã bị hủy phá. Hỡi cây dẽ ở Ba-san, khá kêu la, vì rừng rậm đã bị chặt.
Houle, firre trees: for the cedar is fallen, because all the mightie are destroyed: houle ye, O okes of Bashan, for ye defesed forest is cut downe.
3 Có tiếng than khóc của những kẻ chăn chiên! vì sự vinh hiển của chúng nó đã bị hủy phá; có tiếng gầm thét của những sư tử con! vì sự kiêu ngạo của Giô-đanh đã bị tồi tàn.
There is the voyce of the houling of the shepherdes: for their glorie is destroyed: the voyce of ye roaring of lyons whelpes: for the pride of Iorden is destroyed.
4 Giê-hô-va Ðức Chúa Trời ta phán như vầy: Hãy cho những con chiên sắp giết ăn cỏ;
Thus sayeth the Lord my God, Feede the sheepe of the slaughter.
5 những kẻ mua nó giết đi, chẳng lấy làm phạm tội; còn kẻ bán thì nói rằng: Ðức Giê-hô-va đáng ngợi khen, vì ta giàu có; và trong những kẻ chăn chẳng một người nào tiếc chúng nó.
They that possesse them, slay them and sinne not: and they that sell them, say, Blessed be the Lord: for I am riche, and their owne shepherds spare them not.
6 Ðức Giê-hô-va phán: Vì ta chẳng tiếc dân cư đất nầy nữa; nhưng, nầy, ta sẽ phó ai nấy vào trong tay kẻ lân cận mình, và trong tay vua mình; chúng nó sẽ đánh đất, và ta sẽ không giải cứu khỏi tay chúng nó đâu.
Surely I wil no more spare those that dwell in the land, sayth the Lord: but loe, I will deliuer the men euery one into his neighbours hand, and into the hand of his King: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hands I wil not deliuer them.
7 Vậy ta cho những chiên sắp giết ăn cỏ, là những chiên rất khốn nạn trong bầy. Ðoạn, ta lấy hai cây gậy: một cây gọi là Tốt đẹp, một cây gọi là Dây buộc; và ta cho bầy chiên ăn.
For I fed the sheepe of slaughter, euen the poore of the flocke, and I tooke vnto me two staues: the one I called Beautie, and the other I called Bandes, and I fed the sheepe.
8 Chỉ trong một thánh ta diệt mất ba kẻ chăn, vì linh hồn ta đã nhàm chúng nó, và linh hồn chúng nó cũng chán ta.
Three shepherdes also I cut off in one moneth, and my soule lothed them, and their soule abhorred me.
9 Ta bèn nói rằng: Ta sẽ không chăn bay. Con nào chết, chết đi; con nào mất, mất đi; còn những con nào sót lại thì con nầy ăn thịt con kia.
Then said I, I will not feede you: that that dyeth, let it dye: and that that perisheth, let it perish: and let the remnant eate, euery one the flesh of his neighbour.
10 Ðoạn, ta lấy gậy ta gọi là Tốt đẹp mà chặt nó ra từng khúc, đặng dứt lời giao ước mà ta đã kết với hết thảy các dân.
And I tooke my staffe, euen Beautie, and brake it, that I might disanull my couenant, which I had made with all people.
11 Nó bị dứt trong ngày đó; vậy thì những con chiên rất khốn nạn trong bầy, là chiên nghe theo ta, biết rằng ấy là lời Ðức Giê-hô-va.
And it was broken in that day: and so the poore of the sheepe that waited vpon me, knew that it was the worde of the Lord.
12 Ta nói cùng chúng nó rằng: Nếu các ngươi lấy làm tốt, thì hãy cho tiền công ta; bằng không thì đừng cho. Chúng nó bèn cân tiền công cho ta, là ba chục miếng bạc.
And I said vnto them, If ye thinke it good, giue me my wages: and if no, leaue off: so they weighed for my wages thirtie pieces of siluer.
13 Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta rằng: Hãy lấy giá tốt mà chúng nó định cho ta đó, đem quăng cho thợ gốm! Ta bèn lấy ba chục miếng bạc mà quăng cho thợ gốm tại trong nhà Ðức Giê-hô-va.
And the Lord said vnto me, Cast it vnto the potter: a goodly price, that I was valued at of them. And I tooke the thirtie pieces of siluer, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.
14 Rồi ta chặt gậy thứ hai của ta, gọi là Dây buộc, đặng dứt tình anh em giữa Giu-đa và Y-sơ-ra-ên.
Then brake I mine other staffe, euen the Bandes, that I might dissolue the brotherhood betweene Iudah and Israel.
15 Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta rằng: Hãy lấy khí vật của kẻ chăn dại dột cho ngươi.
And the Lord said vnto me, Take to thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepheard.
16 Vì nầy, ta sẽ dấy lên một kẻ chăn trong đất nầy, kẻ ấy sẽ chẳng thăm viếng chiên bị mất, chẳng tìm kiếm chiên tản lạc, không chữa con nào bị thương, không nuôi con nào mập mạnh; song nó ăn thịt con rất mập, và xé móng chúng nó.
For loe, I will rayse vp a shepheard in the land, which shall not looke for the thing, that is lost, nor seeke the tender lambes, nor heale that that is hurt, nor feede that that standeth vp: but he shall eate the flesh of the fat, and teare their clawes in pieces.
17 Khốn thay cho kẻ chăn vô ích bỏ bầy mình! Gươm sẽ ở trên cánh tay nó, và trên con mắt hữu nó; cánh tay nó sẽ khô cả, và con mắt hữu nó sẽ mù cả.
O idole shepheard that leaueth the flocke: the sword shalbe vpon his arme, and vpon his right eye. His arme shall be cleane dryed vp, and his right eye shall be vtterly darkened.
