Ru-tơ 4
1 Bô-ô đi đến cửa thành và ngồi đó. Bấy giờ, người có quyền chuộc sản nghiệp, mà Bô-ô đã nói đến, vừa đi qua; Bô-ô bèn nói rằng: Hỡi anh, hãy lại gần và ngồi.
And Boaz he went up the gate and he sat down there and there! the kinsman-redeemer [was] passing by whom he had spoken Boaz and he said turn aside! sit! here a certain one a certain one and he turned aside and he sat down.
2 Bô-ô bèn chọn mười người trong các trưởng lão của thành, mà rằng: Các ông hãy ngồi đây. Các trưởng lão bèn ngồi.
And he took ten men from [the] elders of the city and he said sit here and they sat down.
3 Ðoạn, Bô-ô nói cùng người có quyền chuộc sản nghiệp rằng: Na-ô-mi ở Mô-áp trở về, rao bán miếng đất của Ê-li-mê-léc, anh chúng ta.
And he said to the kinsman redeemer [the] portion of the field which [belonged] to brother our to Elimelech she has sold Naomi who returned from [the] region of Moab.
4 Tôi muốn báo cáo cho anh hay và nói rằng: Tại trước mặt những người ngồi đây và trước mặt các trưởng lão của dân sự tôi, xin hãy mua sản nghiệp đó. Nếu anh muốn chuộc sản nghiệp đó lại, thì hãy làm đi; bằng không, thì hãy tỏ ra cho tôi biết. Vì trước anh chẳng ai có quyền chuộc lại, và sau anh, quyền này trở về tôi. Người đáp: Tôi sẽ chuộc.
And I I said I will uncover ear your saying acquire [it] before the [ones] sitting and before [the] elders of people my if you will redeem redeem and if not he will redeem tell! to me (so let me know *Q(K)*) that there not except you [is] to redeem and I [am] after you and he said I I will redeem.
5 Bô-ô lại nói: Khi mua ruộng bởi tay Na-ô-mi, anh cũng phải mua luôn bởi Ru-tơ, người Mô-áp, vợ của kẻ chết, để nối danh của kẻ chết cho sản nghiệp người.
And he said Boaz on [the] day acquiring you the field from [the] hand of Naomi and from with Ruth the Moabite [woman] [the] wife of the dead [man] (you have acquired *Q(K)*) to raise up [the] name of the dead [man] over inheritance his.
6 Người có quyền chuộc lại đáp rằng: Nếu vậy, tôi không chuộc lại được, e phải hủy hoại sản nghiệp của mình; xin hãy lấy về cho anh quyền chuộc lại của tôi, vì tôi không thế chuộc được.
And he said the kinsman-redeemer not I am able (to redeem [it] *Q(k)*) for myself lest I should ruin own inheritance my redeem for yourself you right of redemption my for not I am able to redeem [it].
7 Vả, xưa trong Y-sơ-ra-ên khi chuộc lại hay là đổi nhau, muốn làm cho chắc lời giao kết, thì người này phải cổi giầy mình mà trao cho người kia. Nơi Y-sơ-ra-ên, ấy là cách ưng chịu một tờ giao ước.

8 Vậy, người có quyền chuộc lại nói cùng Bô-ô rằng: Anh hãy chuộc sản nghiệp đó. Rồi người cổi giầy mình ra.
And he said the kinsman-redeemer to Boaz acquire [it] for yourself and he took off sandal his.
9 Bấy giờ, Bô-ô nói cùng các trưởng lão và cả dân sự rằng: Ngày nay, các ông chứng kiến rằng tôi mua nơi tay Na-ô-mi mọi tài sản thuộc về Ê-li-mê-léc, về Ki-lôn, và về Mạc-lôn,
And he said Boaz to the elders and all the people [are] witnesses you this day that I acquire all that [belonged] to Elimelech and all that [belonged] to Kilion and Mahlon from [the] hand of Naomi.
10 và cũng lấy Ru-tơ, người Mô-áp, vợ của Mạc-lôn, làm vợ tôi, đặng nối danh kẻ chết cho sản nghiệp người; hầu cho danh kẻ chết không mất khỏi giữa anh em mình và khỏi dân sự của thành người; ngày nay các ông làm chứng về điều đó.
And also Ruth the Moabite [woman] [the] wife of Mahlon I acquire for myself to a wife to raise up [the] name of the dead [man] over inheritance his and not it will be cut off [the] name of the dead [man] from with brothers his and from [the] gate of place his [are] witnesses you this day.
11 Cả dân sự hiện ở nơi cửa, và các trưởng lão, đều đáp rằng: Chúng tôi làm chứng điều đó. Nguyện Ðức Giê-hô-va làm cho người nữ vào nhà ngươi giống như Ra-chên và Lê-a, là hai người đã dựng nên nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên! Hãy trở nên cường thạnh nơi Ép-ra-ta và làm cho nổi danh ngươi trong Bết-lê-hem!
And they said all the people which [was] at the gate and the elders [we are] witnesses may he make Yahweh the woman who is about to come into house your like Rachel - and like Leah who they built [the] two of them [the] house of Israel and make wealth in Ephrathah and proclaim a name in Beth-lehem.
12 Nguyện con cháu ngươi mà Ðức Giê-hô-va sẽ ban cho ngươi bởi người gái trẻ này, làm cho nhà ngươi giống như nhà của Pha-rết, mà Tha-ma đã sanh cho Giu-đa!
So may it be household your like [the] household of Perez whom she bore Tamar to Judah from the offspring which he will give Yahweh to you from the young woman this.
13 Như vậy, Bô-ô lấy Ru-tơ làm vợ, người đi lại cùng nàng; Ðức Giê-hô-va làm cho nàng được thọ thai và sanh một con trai.
And he took Boaz Ruth and she became of him a wife and he went into her and he gave Yahweh to her conception and she bore a son.
14 Các người đờn bà nói cùng Na-ô-mi rằng: Ðáng ngợi khen Ðức Giê-hô-va chẳng từ chối cho bà một người có quyền chuộc lại; nguyện danh của người trở nên sang trọng nơi Y-sơ-ra-ên!
And they said the women to Naomi [be] blessed Yahweh who not he has caused to cease to you a kinsman-redeemer this day and may it be proclaimed name his in Israel.
15 Nó sẽ an ủi lòng bà, dưỡng già bà; vì ấy là dân bà vẫn thương bà, đã sanh nó cho bà; nàng quí cho bà hơn bảy con trai.
And he will become for you [one who] restores life and to sustain old age your for daughter-in-law your who she loves you she has given birth to him who she [is] good to you more than seven sons.
16 Na-ô-mi bồng đứa trẻ, để vào lòng mình, và nuôi nó.
And she took Naomi the child and she placed him on bosom her and she became of him a nurse.
17 Những người nữ lân cận đặt tên cho nó là Ô-bết, mà rằng: Một đứa trai đã sanh cho Na-ô-mi. Ô-bết là cha của Y-sai, ông của Ða-vít.
And they called him the [female] neighbors a name saying he has been born a son to Naomi and they called name his Obed he [was] [the] father of Jesse [the] father of David.
18 Nầy là dòng dõi của Pha-rết: Pha-rết sanh Hết-rôn.
And these [are] [the] descendants of Perez Perez he fathered Hezron.
19 Hết-rôn sanh Ram; Ram sanh A-mi-na-đáp;
And Hezron he fathered Ram and Ram he fathered Amminadab.
20 A-mi-na-đáp sanh Na-ha-sôn; Na-ha-sôn sanh Sanh-môn;
And Amminadab he fathered Nahshon and Nahshon he fathered Salmah.
21 Sanh-môn sanh Bô-ô; Bô-ô sanh Ô-bết;
And Salmon he fathered Boaz and Boaz he fathered Obed.
22 Ô-bết sanh Y-sai, và Y-sai sanh Ða-vít.
And Obed he fathered Jesse and Jesse he fathered David.
