Thánh Thi 66
1 Hỡi cả trái đất, Khá cất tiếng reo mừng Ðức Chúa Trời.
To him that excelleth. A song or Psalme. Rejoice in God, all ye inhabitants of the earth.
2 Hãy hát ra sự vinh hiển của danh Ngài, Hãy ngợi khen và tôn vinh Ngài.
Sing forth the glory of his name: make his praise glorious.
3 Hãy thưa cùng Ðức Chúa Trời rằng: Các việc Chúa đáng sợ thay! Nhơn vì quyền năng rất lớn của Chúa, những kẻ thù nghịch Chúa đều sẽ suy phục Chúa.
Say vnto God, Howe terrible art thou in thy workes! through the greatnesse of thy power shall thine enemies be in subiection vnto thee.
4 Cả trái đất sẽ thờ lạy Chúa, Và hát ngợi khen Ngài; Chúng sẽ ca tụng danh Chúa.
All the worlde shall worship thee, and sing vnto thee, euen sing of thy Name. (Selah)
5 Hãy đến, xem các việc của Ðức Chúa Trời: Công việc Ngài làm cho con cái loài người thật đáng sợ.
Come and beholde the workes of God: he is terrible in his doing towarde the sonnes of men.
6 Ngài đổi biển ra đất khô; Người ta đi bộ ngang qua sông: Tại nơi ấy chúng tôi vui mừng trong Ngài.
He hath turned the Sea into drie land: they passe through the riuer on foote: there did we reioyce in him.
7 Ngài dùng quyền năng Ngài mà cai trị đời đời; Mắt Ngài xem xét các nước: Những kẻ phản nghịch chớ tự-cao.
He ruleth the worlde with his power: his eyes beholde the nations: the rebellious shall not exalt them selues. (Selah)
8 Hỡi các dân, hãy chúc tụng Ðức Chúa Trời chúng ta, Và làm cho vang tiếng ngợi khen Ngài.
Prayse our God, ye people, and make the voyce of his prayse to be heard.
9 Chính Ngài bảo tồn mạng sống chúng ta, Không cho phép chơn chúng ta xiêu tó.
Which holdeth our soules in life, and suffereth not our feete to slippe.
10 Vì, Ðức Chúa Trời ơi, Chúa đã thử thách chúng tôi, Rèn luyện chúng tôi y như luyện bạc.
For thou, O God, hast proued vs, thou hast tryed vs as siluer is tryed.
11 Chúa đã đem chúng tôi vào lưới, Chất gánh nặng quá trên lưng chúng tôi.
Thou hast brought vs into the snare, and layed a strait chaine vpon our loynes.
12 Chúa khiến người ta cỡi trên đầu chúng tôi; Chúng tôi đi qua lửa qua nước; Nhưng Chúa đem chúng tôi ra nơi giàu có.
Thou hast caused men to ryde ouer our heads: we went into fire and into water, but thou broughtest vs out into a welthie place.
13 Tôi sẽ lấy của lễ thiêu mà vào trong nhà Chúa, Trả xong cho Chúa các sự hứa nguyện tôi,
I will go into thine House with burnt offrings, and will pay thee my vowes,
14 Mà môi tôi đã hứa, Và miệng tôi đã nói ra trong khi bị gian truân.
Which my lippes haue promised, and my mouth hath spoken in mine affliction.
15 Tôi sẽ dân cho Chúa những con sinh mập làm của lễ thiêu, Chung với mỡ chiên đực; Tôi cũng sẽ dâng những bò đực và dê đực.
I will offer vnto thee the burnt offerings of fat rammes with incense: I will prepare bullocks and goates. (Selah)
16 Hỡi hết thảy người kính sợ Ðức Chúa Trời, hãy đến nghe, Thì tôi sẽ thuật điều Ngài đã làm cho linh hồn tôi.
Come and hearken, all ye that feare God, and I will tell you what he hath done to my soule.
17 Tôi lấy miệng tôi kêu cầu Ngài, Và lưỡi tôi tôn cao Ngài.
I called vnto him with my mouth, and he was exalted with my tongue.
18 Nếu lòng tôi có chú về tội ác, Ấy Chúa chẳng nghe tôi.
If I regard wickednesse in mine heart, the Lord will not heare me.
19 Nhưng Ðức Chúa Trời thật có nghe; Ngài đã lắng tai nghe tiếng cầu nguyện tôi.
But God hath heard me, and considered the voyce of my prayer.
20 Ðáng ngợi khen Ðức Chúa Trời, Vì Ngài chẳng bỏ lời cầu nguyện tôi, Cũng không rút sự nhơn từ Ngài khỏi tôi.
Praysed be God, which hath not put backe my prayer, nor his mercie from me.
