1 Lòng tôi đầy tràn những lời tốt; Tôi nói điều tôi vịnh cho vua; Lưỡi tôi như ngòi viết của văn sĩ có tài.
For the music director. To the tune “Lilies.” A psalm (maskil) of the sons of Korah. A love song. I am moved to write about this wonderful subject. Let me share what I have written for the king. What I say comes from the pen of a skilled author.
2 Ngài xinh đẹp hơn hết thảy con trai loài người; Aân điển tràn ra nơi môi Ngài: Vì vậy, Ðức Chúa Trời đã ban phước cho Ngài đến đời đời.
You are more handsome than anyone else. You always speak graciously, for God has blessed you forever.
3 Hỡi Ðấng mạnh dạn, hãy đai gươm nơi hông, Là sự vinh hiển và sự oai nghi của Ngài.
Strap on your sword, mighty warrior, stride out in glory and majesty!
4 Vì cớ sự chơn thật, sự hiền từ, và sự công bình, Hãy lấy sự oai nghi Ngài cỡi xe lướt tới cách thắng trận; Tay hữu Ngài sẽ dạy cho Ngài những việc đáng kính.
In your majesty ride out to victory, in the defense of truth, humility, and right, because you are strong and act powerfully.
5 Các mũi tên Ngài bén nhọn, Bắn thấu tim kẻ thù nghịch vua; Các dân đều ngã dưới Ngài.
Your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of your enemies; the nations fall under you.
6 Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời, ngôi Chúa còn mãi đời nọ qua đời kia; Binh quyền nước Chúa là một binh quyền ngay thẳng.
Your throne comes from God, and lasts forever and ever. The scepter with which you rule is a scepter of fairness.
7 Chúa ưa sự công bình, và ghét điều gian ác; Cho nên Ðức Chúa Trời, là Ðức Chúa Trời của Chúa, đã xức dầu cho Chúa Bằng dầu vui vẻ trổi hơn đồng loại Chúa.
You love what is right and hate what is wrong. That is why God, your God, has placed you above everyone else by anointing you with the oil of joy.
8 Các áo xống Ngài bay mùi thơm một dược, trầm hương, và nhục quế; Từ trong đền ngà có tiếng nhạc khí bằng dây làm vui vẻ Ngài.
Your robes are perfumed with aloes, myrrh, and cassia; music played on stringed instruments in palaces decorated with ivory makes you happy.

The daughters of kings are among the noblewomen; the queen stands beside you on your right, wearing jewelry made of gold from Ophir.

Through my words you will be famous through all generations, and nations will praise you forever and ever.
