Lu-ca 17
1 Ðức Chúa Jêsus lại phán cùng môn đồ rằng: Không có thể khỏi xảy đến sự gây nên phạm tội được; song khốn thay cho ai là kẻ làm ra sự ấy!
Then said he to his disciples, It can not be auoided, but that offences will come, but wo be to him by whome they come.
2 Nếu ai gây cho chỉ một kẻ nhỏ nầy phạm tội, thì thà rằng buộc cối đá vào cổ nó mà quăng xuống biển còn hơn.
It is better for him that a great milstone were hanged about his necke, and that he were cast into ye sea, then that he should offende one of these litle ones.
3 Các ngươi hãy giữ lấy mình. Nếu anh em ngươi đã phạm tội, hãy quở trách họ; và nếu họ ăn năn, thì hãy tha thứ.
Take heede to your selues: if thy brother trespasse against thee, rebuke him: and if hee repent, forgiue him.
4 Dầu trong một ngày, họ phạm tội cùng ngươi bảy lần và bảy lần trở lại cùng ngươi mà nói rằng: Tôi ăn năn, thì hãy tha tội cho họ.
And though he sinne against thee seuen times in a day, and seuen times in a day turne againe to thee, saying, It repenteth mee, thou shalt forgiue him.
5 Các sứ đồ thưa Chúa rằng: Xin thêm đức tin cho chúng tôi!
And the Apostles saide vnto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 Chúa đáp rằng: Nếu các ngươi có đức tin trông bằng hột cải, các ngươi khiến cây dâu nầy rằng: Hãy nhổ đi mà trồng dưới biển, thì nó sẽ vâng lời.
And the Lord said, If ye had faith, as much as is a graine of mustard seede, and should say vnto this mulberie tree, Plucke thy selfe vp by the rootes, and plant thy selfe in the sea, it should euen obey you.
7 Ai trong các ngươi có đầy tớ đi cày hoặc đi chăn, khi ở ngoài đồng về, biểu nó rằng: Hãy đến ngay mà ngồi ăn, hay sao?
Who is it also of you, that hauing a seruant plowing or feeding cattell, woulde say vnto him by and by, when hee were come from the fielde, Goe, and sit downe at table?
8 Trái lại, há không biểu nó rằng: Hãy dọn cho ta ăn, thắt lưng hầu ta, cho đến chừng nào ta ăn uống xong, rồi sau ngươi sẽ ăn uống sao?
And woulde not rather say to him, Dresse wherewith I may suppe, and girde thy selfe, and serue mee, till I haue eaten and drunken, and afterward eate thou, and drinke thou?
9 Ðầy tớ vâng lịnh mà làm, thì chủ có biết ơn gì nó chăng?
Doeth he thanke that seruant, because hee did that which was commanded vnto him? I trowe not.
10 Các ngươi cũng vậy, khi làm xong việc truyền phải làm, thì hãy nói rằng: Chúng tôi là đầy tớ vô ích; điều chúng tôi đã làm là điều chắc phải làm.
So likewise yee, when yee haue done all those things, which are commanded you, say, We are vnprofitable seruants: wee haue done that which was our duetie to doe.
11 Ðức Chúa Jêsus đương lên thành Giê-ru-sa-lem, trải qua bờ cõi xứ Sa-ma-ri và Ga-li-lê.
And so it was when he went to Hierusalem, that he passed through the middes of Samaria, and Galile.
12 Nhằm khi vào làng kia, có mười người phung đến đón rước Ngài, đứng đằng xa,
And as hee entred into a certaine towne, there met him tenne men that were lepers, which stoode a farre off.
13 lên tiếng rằng: Lạy Jêsus, lạy Thầy, xin thương xót chúng tôi cùng!
And they lift vp their voyces and saide, Iesus, Master, haue mercie on vs.
14 Khi Ngài thấy họ liền phán rằng: Hãy đi, tỏ mình cùng thầy tế lễ. Họ đương đi thì phung lành hết thảy.
And when he saw them, he said vnto them, Goe, shewe your selues vnto the Priestes. And it came to passe, that as they went, they were clensed.
15 Có một người trong bọn họ thấy mình đã được sạch, bèn trở lại, lớn tiếng khen ngợi Ðức Chúa Trời;
Then one of them, when hee sawe that hee, was healed, turned backe, and with a loude voyce praised God,
16 lại đến sấp mặt xuống đất, nơi chơn Ðức Chúa Jêsus, mà tạ ơn Ngài. Vả, người đó là người Sa-ma-ri.
And fell downe on his face at his feete, and gaue him thankes: and he was a Samaritan.
17 Ðức Chúa Jêsus bèn cất tiếng phán rằng: Không phải mười người đều được sạch cả sao? Còn chín người kia ở đâu?
And Iesus answered, and said, Are there not tenne clensed? but where are the nine?
18 Chỉ có người ngoại quốc nầy trở lại ngợi khen Ðức Chúa Trời ư!
There is none founde that returned to giue God praise, saue this stranger.
19 Ngài lại phán rằng: Ðứng dậy đi; đức tin ngươi đã cứu ngươi.
And he saide vnto him, Arise, goe thy way, thy faith hath saued thee.
20 Người Pha-ri-si hỏi Ðức Chúa Jêsus nước Ðức Chúa Trời chừng nào đến, thì Ngài đáp rằng: Nước Ðức Chúa Trời không đến cách rõ ràng,
And when hee was demaunded of the Pharises, when the kingdome of God shoulde come, he answered them, and said, The kingdome of God commeth not with obseruation.
21 và người ta sẽ không nói: Ở đây, hay là: Ở đó; vì nầy, nước Ðức Chúa Trời ở trong các ngươi.
Neither shall men say, Loe here, or lo there: for behold, the kingdome of God is within you.
22 Ngài lại phán cùng môn đồ rằng: Sẽ có kỳ các ngươi ước ao thấy chỉ một ngày của Con người, mà không thấy được.
And he saide vnto the disciples, The dayes will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the dayes of the Sonne of man, and ye shall not see it.
23 Người ta sẽ nói cùng các ngươi rằng: Ngài ở đây, hay là: Ngài ở đó; nhưng đừng đi, đừng theo họ.
Then they shall say to you, Behold here, or beholde there: but goe not thither, neither follow them.
24 Vì như chớp nháng lòe từ dưới phương trời nầy đến dưới phương trời kia, thì Con người trong ngày Ngài cũng như vậy.
For as the lightening that lighteneth out of the one part vnder heauen, shineth vnto the other part vnder heauen, so shall the Sonne of man be in his day.
25 Nhưng Ngài trước phải chịu đau đớn nhiều, và bị dòng dõi nầy bỏ ra.
But first must he suffer many things, and be reprooued of this generation.
26 Việc đã xảy đến trong đời Nô-ê, thì cũng sẽ xảy đến trong ngày Con người:
And as it was in the dayes of Noe, so shall it be in the dayes of the Sonne of man.
27 người ta ăn, uống, cưới, gả, cho đến ngày Nô-ê vào tàu, và nước lụt đến hủy diệt thiên hạ hết.
They ate, they dranke, they married wiues, and gaue in marriage vnto the day that Noe went into the Arke: and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Việc đã xảy ra trong đời Lót cũng vậy, người ta ăn, uống, mua, bán, trồng tỉa, cất dựng;
Likewise also, as it was in the dayes of Lot: they ate, they dranke, they bought, they solde, they planted, they built.
29 đến này Lót ra khỏi thành Sô-đôm, thì trời mưa lửa và diêm sinh, giết hết dân thành ấy.
But in the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heauen, and destroyed them all.
30 Ngày Con người hiện ra cũng một thể nầy.
After these ensamples shall it be in the day when the Sonne of man is reueiled.
31 Trong ngày đó, ai ở trên mái nhà, có của để trong nhà, đừng xuống mà chuyên đi; ai ở ngoài đồng, cũng đừng trở về nữa.
At that day hee that is vpon the house, and his stuffe in ye house, let him not come downe to take it out: and he that is in the fielde likewise, let him not turne backe to that he left behinde.
32 Hãy nhớ lại vợ của Lót.
Remember Lots wife.
33 Ai kiếm cách cứu sự sống mình, thì sẽ mất; ai mất sự sống mình, thì sẽ được lại.
Whosoeuer will seeke to saue his soule, shall loose it: and whosoeuer shall loose it, shall get it life.
34 Ta phán cùng các ngươi, trong đêm đó, hai người nằm chung giường, một người sẽ được rước đi, còn một bị để lại.
I tell you, in that night there shall be two in one bed: the one shalbe receiued, and the other shalbe left.
35 Hai người đờn bà xay chung cối, một người được rước đi, còn một bị để lại.
Two women shalbe grinding together: the one shalbe taken, and the other shalbe left.
36 Hai người ở ngoài đồng, một người được rước đi, còn một bị để lại.
Two shalbe in the fielde: one shalbe receiued, and another shalbe left.
37 Các môn đồ bèn thưa Ngài rằng: Thưa Chúa, sự ấy sẽ ở tại đâu? Ngài đáp rằng: Xác chết ở đâu, chim ó nhóm tại đó.
And they answered, and saide to him, Where, Lord? And he said vnto them, Wheresoeuer the body is, thither shall also the eagles bee gathered together.
