I-sai-a 27
1 Trong ngày đó, Ðức Giê-hô-va sẽ dùng gươm cứng, lớn, và mạnh mà phạt lê-vi-a-than, là con rắn lẹ làng, phạt lê-vi-a-than là con rắn cong queo; và Ngài sẽ giết con vật lớn dưới biển.
In that day the Lord with his sore and great and mightie sword shall visite Liuiathan, that pearcing serpent, euen Liuiathan, that crooked serpent, and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
2 Trong ngày đó, các ngươi khá hát bài nói về vườn nho sanh ra rượu nho!
In that daye sing of the vineyarde of redde wine.
3 Ấy chính ta, Ðức Giê-hô-va, là Ðấng giữ nó, sẽ chốc chốc tưới nó, và giữ nó đêm ngày, kẻo người ta phá hại chăng.
I the Lord doe keepe it: I will water it euery moment: least any assaile it, I will keepe it night and day.
4 Ta chẳng căm giận. Mặc ai đem chà chuôm gai gốc mà chống cự cùng ta! Ta sẽ đi đánh chúng nó, đốt chung làm một.
Anger is not in mee: who would set the briers and the thornes against me in battel? I would go through them, I would burne them together.
5 Chẳng gì bằng nhờ sức ta, làm hòa với ta, phải, hãy làm hòa với ta!
Or will he feele my strength, that he may make peace with me, and be at one with me?
6 Sau nầy, Gia-cốp đâm rễ, Y-sơ-ra-ên kết nụ và nở hoa, chắc sẽ ra trái đầy trên mặt đất.
Hereafter, Iaakob shall take roote: Israel shall florish and growe, and the world shall be filled with fruite.
7 Ðức Chúa Trời đánh nó há như đánh kẻ đã đánh nó sao? Nó bị giết há như những kẻ giết nó đã bị giết sao?
Hath hee smitten him as hee smote those that smote him? or is hee slaine according to the slaughter of them that were slaine by him?
8 Ấy là Ngài đã tranh nhau với nó cách chừng đỗi, mà dời nó đi, trong một ngày có gió đông, nó bị đùa đi bởi gió bão của Ngài.
In measure in the branches thereof wilt thou contende with it, when he bloweth with his rough winde in the day of the East winde.
9 Vậy, nầy là cớ vì sao mà tội Gia-cốp sẽ được tha, và nầy là quả của sự trừ bỏ tội nó đi: nó sẽ làm cho hết thảy đá của bàn thờ ra như đó vôi bể nát; các hình tượng và các trụ mặt trời sẽ không dựng lên nữa.
By this therefore shall the iniquitie of Iaakob be purged, and this is all the fruit, the taking away of his sinne: whe he shall make all the stones of the altars, as chalke stones broken in pieces, that the groues and images may not stand vp.
10 Vì thành bền vững đã trở nên tiêu điều, nhà ở sẽ bị bỏ và để hoang, dường như đồng vắng. Bò tơ sẽ đến ăn cỏ tại đó, nằm và nhá những nhánh cây.
Yet the defenced citie shalbe desolate, and the habitation shalbe forsaken, and left like a wildernes. There shall the calfe feede, and there shall he lie, and consume the branches thereof.
11 Khi nhánh khô và bị bẻ, đờn bà đến lấy mà nhen lửa. Vì dân nầy không có trí khôn, nên Ðấng đã làm nên nó chẳng thương xót đến, Ðấng tạo nên nó chẳng ban ơn cho.
When the boughes of it are drie, they shalbe broken: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of none vnderstading: therefore hee that made them, shall not haue compassion of them, and he that formed them, shall haue no mercie on them.
12 Xảy ra trong ngày đó, Ðức Giê-hô-va sẽ lung lay từ lòng Sông cái cho đến khe Ê-díp-tô; hỡi con cái Y-sơ-ra-ên, các ngươi đều sẽ bị lượm từng người một!
And in that day shall the Lord thresh from the chanell of the Riuer vnto the riuer of Egypt, and ye shalbe gathered, one by one, O children of Israel.
13 Trong ngày đó, kèn lớn sẽ thổi lên. Bấy giờ những kẻ bị thất lạc trong xứ A-si-ri, và những kẻ bị đày trong đất Ê-díp-tô, sẽ đến thờ lạy trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va, trên hòn núi thánh, tại Giê-ru-sa-lem.
In that day also shall the great trumpet be blowen, and they shall come, which perished in the land of Asshur: and they that were chased into the lande of Egypt, and they shall worship the Lord in the holy Mount at Ierusalem.
