I Sử Ký 2

1 Con trai của Y-sơ-ra-ên là Ru-bên, Si-mê-ôn, Lê-vi, Giu-đa, Y-sa-ca, Sa-bu-lôn,

These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,

2 Ðan, Giô-sép, Bên-gia-min, Nép-ta-li, Gát, và A-se.

Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 Con trai của Giu-đa là Ê-rơ, Ô-nan, và Sê-la. Ba người nầy Giu-đa sanh ra bởi con gái Su-a, người Ca-na-an. Ê-rơ, con cả của Giu-đa, làm sự dữ trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va, nên Ngài giết nó đi.

The sons of Judah: 'Er, and Onan, and Shelah, the three [who] were born unto him of the daughter of Shua' the Canaanitess. And 'Er, the first-born of Judah, was evil in the eyes of the Lord: and he slew him.

4 Ta-ma, là dâu của Giu-đa, sanh cho người Phê-rết và Xê-rách. Tổng cộng các con của Giu-đa được năm người.

And Thamar his daughter-in-law bore unto him Perez and Zerach. All the sons of Judah were five.

5 Con trai của Phê-rết là Hết-rôn và Ha-mun.

The sons of Perez: Chezron and Chamul.

6 Con trai của Xê-rách là Xim-ri, Ê-than, Hê-man, Canh-côn, và Ða-ra, cộng là năm người.

And the sons of Zerach: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara'; all of them five.

7 Con trai của Cạt-mi là A-ca, tức kẻ làm rối loạn trong Y-sơ-ra-ên, phạm đến vật nghiêm cấm.

And the sons of Carmi: 'Achar the troubler of Israel, who trespassed against the devoted things.

8 Con trai của Ê-than là A-xa-ria.

And the sons of Ethan: 'Azaryah.

9 Con trai Hết-rôn sanh ra là Giê-rác-mê-en, Ram, và Kê-lu-bai.

And the sons of Chezron, that were born unto him: Jerachmeel, and Ram, and Kelubai.

10 Ram sanh ra A-mi-na-đáp, A-mi-na-đáp sanh Na-ha-sôn, làm quan trưởng của người Giu-đa.

And Ram begat 'Amminadab, and 'Amminadab begat Nachshon, the prince of the children of Judah;

11 Na-ha-sôn sanh Sanh-ma,

And Nachshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Bo'az,

12 Sanh-ma sanh Bô-ô, Bô-ô sanh Ô-bết, Ô-bết sanh Y-sai.

And Bo'az begat 'Obed, and 'Obed begat Jesse,

13 Y-sai sanh con đầu lòng là Ê-li-áp, con thứ nhì là A-bi-na-đáp, thứ ba là Si-mê-a,

And Ishai begat his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shim'a the third,

14 thứ tư là Na-tha-na-ên, thứ năm là Ra-đai,

Nathanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

15 thứ sáu là Ô-xem, thứ bảy là Ða-vít.

Ozem the sixth, David the seventh;

16 Còn Xê-ru-gia và A-bi-ga-in là chị em của những người ấy. Xê-ru-gia có ba con là A-bi-sai, Giô-áp, và A-xa-ên.

And their sisters were Zeruyah, and Abigayil. And the sons of Zeruyah: Abshai, and Joab, and 'Assahel, three.

17 A-bi-ga-in sanh A-ma-sa; cha của A-ma-sa là Giê-the, người Ích-ma-ên.

And Abigayil bore 'Amassa: and the father of 'Amassa was Jether the Ishme'elite.

18 Ca-lép, con của Hết-rôn, lấy vợ, là A-xu-ba, với Giê-ri-ốt, rồi sanh con là Giê-se, Sô-báp, và Aït-đôn.

And Caleb the son of Chezron begat [children] of 'Azubah his wife, and of Jeri'oth; and these are her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

19 A-xu-ba qua đời, thì Ca-lép lấy Ê-phơ-rát; nàng sanh Hu-rơ cho người.

And 'Azubah died, when Caleb took unto himself Ephrath, who bore unto him Chur.

20 Hu-rơ sanh U-ri, U-ri sanh ra Bết-sa-lê-ên.

And Chur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezalel.

21 Sau khi ấy, Hết-rôn đã được sáu mươi tuổi, bèn cưới con gái của Ma-ki, là cha của Ga-la-át, mà làm vợ; người năm cùng nàng, nàng sanh được Sê-gúp.

And afterward came Chezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gil'ad, and he took her [for wife] when he was sixty years old: and she bore unto him Segub.

22 Sê-gúp sanh Giai-rơ, người nầy được hai mươi ba thành trong xứ Ga-la-át.

And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gil'ad.

23 Dân Ghe-su-rơ và dân Sy-ri chiếm lấy những thành Giai-rơ và Kê-nát, luôn với các hương thôn của địa hạt nó, cộng là sáu mươi thành. Những người ấy đều là con cháu Ma-ki, cha Ga-la-át.

But Geshur and Aram took the small towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and the villages thereof, even sixty cities. All these [belonged to] the sons of Machir the father of Gil'ad.

24 Sau khi Hết-rôn qua đời tại Ca-lép Ép-ra-tha rồi, thì vợ người là A-bi-gia, sanh cho người A-su-rơ, là cha của Thê-cô-a.

And after Chezron was dead in Calebephratah, then bore Chezron's wife Abiyah unto him Ashchur the father of Thekoa'.

25 Giê-rác-mê-ên, con trưởng nam của Hết-rôn, sanh Ram, là con đầu lòng, kế đến Bu-na, Ô-ren, Ô-xem, và A-hi-gia.

And the sons of Jerachmeel the first-born of Chezron were, Ram the first-born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Achiyah.

26 Giê-rác-mê-ên lại lấy vợ khác, tên là A-ta-ra, mẹ của Ô-nam.

Yerachmeel had also another wife, whose name was 'Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

27 Con trai của Ram, con trưởng nam của Giê-rác-mê-ên, là Ma-ách, Gia-min, và Ê-ke.

And the sons of Ram the first-born of Jerachmeel were, Ma'az, and Jamin, and 'Eker.

28 Con trai của Ô-nam là Sa-mai và Gia-đa. Con trai của Sa-mai, là Na-đáp và A-bi-su.

And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada'. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab, and Abishur.

29 Tên vợ của A-bi-su là A-bi-hai; nàng sanh cho người Aïc-ban và Mô-lít.

And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abichayil, and she bore unto him Achban, and Molid.

30 Con trai của Na-đáp là Sê-le và Áp-ba-im. Nhưng Sê-le qua đời, không có con.

And the sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appayim; and Seled died without children.

31 Con trai của Áp-ba-im là Di-si. Con trai của Di-si là Sê-san. Con trai của Sê-san là Aïc-lai.

And the sons of Appayim: Yish'i. And the sons of Yish'i: Sheshan. And the sons of Sheshan: Achlai.

32 Con trai của Gia-đa, em Sa-mai, là Giê-the và Giô-na-than; Giê-the qua đời, không có con.

And the sons of Jada' the brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.

33 Con trai của Giô-na-than là Phê-lết và Xa-xa. Ấy là con cháu Giê-rác-mê-ên.

And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerachmeel.

34 Vả, Sê-san không con trai, song có con gái; cũng có một đứa tôi tớ Ê-díp-tô, lên là Gia-ra.

Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarcha'.

35 Sê-san gả con gái mình cho nó; nàng sanh Aït-tai cho người.

And Sheshan gave his daughter unto Jarcha' his servant for wife: and she bore unto him 'Attai.

36 Aït-tai sanh Na-than, Na-than sanh Xa-bát,

And 'Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad.

37 Xa-bát sanh Ép-la, Ép-la sanh Ô-bết,

And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat 'Obed.

38 Ô-bết sanh Giê-hu, Giê-hu sanh A-xa-ria,

And 'Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat 'Azaryah,

39 A-xa-ria sanh Hê-lết, Hê-lết sanh Ê-la-xa,

And 'Azaryah begat Chelez, and Chelez begat El'assah,

40 Ê-la-xa sanh Sít-mai, Sít-mai sanh Sa-lum,

And El'assah begat Sissmai, and Sissmai begat Shallum.

41 Sa-lum sanh Giê-ca-mia, Giê-ca-mia sanh Ê-li-sa-ma.

And Shallum begat Jekamyah, and Jekamyah begat Elishama'.

42 Con trai Ca-lép, là em của Giê-rác-mê-ên, là con cả của Mê-sa, tức tổ phụ của Xíp, và những con trai của Ma-rê-sa, là tổ phụ của Hếp-rôn.

Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerachmeel were, Mesha', his first-born, who was the father of Ziph, and of the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

43 Con trai của Hếp-rôn là Cô-ra, Táp-bua, Rê-kem, và Sê-ma.

And the sons of Hebron: Korach, and Thappuach, and Rekem, and Shema'.

44 Sê-ma sanh Ra-cham, là tổ phụ của Giô-kê-am; còn Rê-kem sanh Sa-mai.

And Shema' begat Racham, the father of Jorke'am; and Rekem begat Shammai.

45 Con trai của Sa-mai là Ma-ôn; và Ma-ôn là tổ phụ của Bết-sua.

And the son of Shammai was Ma'on; and Ma'on was the father of Beth-zur.

46 Ê-pha, là hầu của Ca-lép, anh Ha-ran, Một-sa, và Ga-xe; Ha-ran sanh Ga-xe.

And 'Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Charan, and Moza, and Gazez; and Charan begat Gazez.

47 Con trai của Gia-đai là Rê-ghem, Giô-than, Ghê-san, Phê-lết, Ê-pha, và Sa-áp.

And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Gesham, and Pelet, and 'Ephah, and Sha'aph.

48 Hầu của Ca-lép, là Ma-a-ca, sanh Sê-be và Ti-ra-na.

Ma'achah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber, and Tirchanah.

49 Nàng cũng sanh Sa-áp, là tổ phụ của Mát-ma-na, Sê-va, tổ phụ của Mác-bê-na, và tổ phụ của Ghi-bê-a. Con gái Ca-lép là Aïc-sa.

She bore also! Sha'aph the father of Madmannah. Sheva the father of Machbena, and the father of Gib'a: ! and the daughter of Caleb was 'Achsah.

50 Ðây là những con cháu của Ca-lép: Sô-banh, con trai của Hu-rơ, là con trưởng nam của Ép-ra-ta, và tổ phụ của Ki-ri-át-Giê-a-rim;

These were the sons of Caleb: Benchur, the first-born of Ephratah, Shobal the father of Kiryath-ye'arim,

51 Sanh-ma tổ phụ của Bết-lê-hem; Ha-rép tổ phụ của Bết-ga-đe.

Salma the father of Beth-lechem, Chareph the father of Beth-gader.

52 Sô-banh, tổ phụ của Ki-ri-át-Giê-a-rim có con trai; người sanh Ha-rô-ê và nửa phần dân Mê-nu-hốt.

And Shobal the father of Kir'yath-ye'arim had sons: Haroeh, and Chazi-hammenuchoth.

53 Các dòng của Ki-ri-át-Giê-a-rim là Dít-rít, Phu-tít, Su-ma-tít, và Mích-ra-ít; cũng bởi những dòng ấy mà có dân Xô-ra-tít và dân Ếch-tao-lít.

And the families of Kir'yath-ye'arim are the Yithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishra'ites: from these came the Zor'athites, and the Eshthaulites.

54 Con cháu của Sanh-ma là Bết-lê-hem, người Nê-tô-pha-tít, người Aït-rốt-Bết-Giô-áp, nửa phần dân Ma-na-ha-tít, và người Xô-rít.

The sons of Salma: Beth-lechem, and the Netophathites, 'Ataroth of the house of Joab, and Chazi-hammanachthi, the Zor'ite.

55 Lại các họ hàng của những thầy thông giáo ở Gia-bết là họ Ti-ra-tít, họ Si-ma-tít, và họ Su-ca-tít. Ấy là dân Kê-nít, sanh ra bởi Ha-mát, tổ tiên của nhà Rê-cáp.

And the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez: the Thirathites, the Shim'athites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came from Chammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
