Xê-ca-ri-a 14

1 Chú ý, vì ngày của Chúa Hằng Hữu sắp đến khi người ta phân chia những chiến lợi phẩm trước mặt các ngươi.

Behold, the day of Jehovah cometh, When thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

2 Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ tập họp các nước lại đánh Giê-ru-sa-lem. Thành sẽ bị chiếm, nhà bị cướp, phụ nữ bị hãm hiếp. Phân nửa dân trong thành bị bắt đi đày, nhưng những người còn sót sẽ được ở lại trong thành đã đổ nát.

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; And the city shall be taken, And the houses shall be rifled, And the women shall be ravished; And half of the city shall go forth into captivity, And the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

3 Lúc ấy, Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ xuất trận, đánh lại các nước ấy.

Then shall Jehovah go forth, And fight against those nations, As he once fought in the day of battle.

4 Trong ngày ấy, chân Ngài đứng trên Núi Ô-liu, về phía đông Giê-ru-sa-lem. Và Núi Ô-liu sẽ bị chẻ ra làm đôi, tạo nên một thung lũng lớn chạy dài từ đông sang tây. Nửa núi sẽ dời về phía bắc, và nửa kia dời về phía nam.

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, Which is before Jerusalem on the east; And the Mount of Olives shall be cloven in the middle of it, eastward and westward, Into a very great valley; And half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, And half of it toward the south.

5 Người ta sẽ chạy trốn qua thung lũng của núi, vì thung lũng ấy chạy dài đến A-san. Người ta sẽ chạy trốn như trong cuộc động đất đời Vua Ô-xia, nước Giu-đa. Bấy giờ, Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời ta, sẽ đến, tất cả các thánh cùng đến với Ngài.

And ye shall flee through the valley of my mountains, For the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal; Yea, ye shall flee, as ye fled before the earthquake In the days of Uzziah, king of Judah. And Jehovah, my God, will come, And all his holy ones with him.

6 Ngày ấy sẽ không có ánh sáng; các nguồn sáng sẽ lu mờ.

And it shall come to pass in that day That there shall he no light, but cold and ice;

7 Đó là một ngày chỉ có Chúa Hằng Hữu biết. Không phải ngày cũng không phải đêm, nhưng vào ban đêm sẽ có ánh sáng.

And there shall be one day, (Known to Jehovah is it, ) It shall be neither day nor night; But at the time of evening there shall be light.

8 Vào ngày ấy, nước sống sẽ từ Giê-ru-sa-lem tuôn trào ra, nửa chảy về Biển Chết, nửa chảy ra Địa Trung Hải, chảy suốt mùa hạ lẫn mùa đông.

And it shall come to pass in that day That living waters shall go out from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea, And half of them toward the western sea; In summer and in winter shall they be.

9 Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ làm Vua khắp hoàn vũ. Vào ngày ấy, chỉ có duy một Chúa Hằng Hữu, và Danh Ngài là Danh duy nhất được thờ phượng.

And Jehovah shall be king over all the earth; In that day shall Jehovah be one, and his name one.

10 Toàn lãnh thổ, từ Ghê-ba đến Rim-môn, phía nam Giê-ru-sa-lem, sẽ biến thành một đồng bằng. Còn Giê-ru-sa-lem vẫn duy trì vị trí trên cao, ranh giới chạy dài từ Cổng Bên-gia-min đến cổng cũ và Cổng Góc, rồi từ Tháp Ha-na-nên đến nhà ép rượu của vua.

The whole land shall be turned into a plain, From Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem; And the city shall be exalted and inhabited in her place, From the gate of Benjamin to the place of the former gate, And to the corner gate, And from the tower of Hananeel to the king's wine-presses.

11 Người ta sẽ ở yên ổn trong Giê-ru-sa-lem, vì thành này không còn bị hủy phá nữa.

Men shall dwell therein, And there shall be no more destruction; But Jerusalem shall dwell securely.

12 Đây là tai họa Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ giáng trên các dân tộc tranh chiến với Giê-ru-sa-lem: Khi họ đang đứng, thịt sẽ rữa ra, mắt sẽ mục ngay trong hốc mắt, lưỡi sẽ nát ra trong miệng.

And this shall be the plague With which Jehovah will smite all the nations Which warred against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, And their eyes shall consume away in their sockets, And their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

13 Ngày ấy Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ làm cho họ hoảng hốt, túm lấy tay anh em mình, người này đánh người kia.

And it shall come to pass in that day, That there shall be a great tumult among them from Jehovah; And they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbor, And his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.

14 Giu-đa sẽ chiến đấu tại Giê-ru-sa-lem, sẽ thu tóm của cải các nước lân cận gồm rất nhiều vàng, bạc, và áo xống.

And Judah also shall fight against Jerusalem; But the wealth of all the nations round about shall be gathered together, Gold and silver and apparel in great abundance.

15 Tai họa trên cũng giáng trên ngựa, la, lạc đà, lừa, và các thú vật khác trong trại của các dân ấy.

And so shall be the plague of the horse, Of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, And of every beast which shall be in those camps, Even as this plague.

16 Về sau, những người sống sót của các nước ấy sẽ lên Giê-ru-sa-lem hằng năm để thờ lạy Vua là Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân và để dự Lễ Lều Tạm.

And it shall be, that every one that is left Of all the nations which come against Jerusalem, Even they shall go up, from year to year, To worship the King, Jehovah of hosts, And to keep the feast of tabernacles.

17 Nếu có dân tộc nào trên thế giới không lên Giê-ru-sa-lem thờ Vua là Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân, thì mưa sẽ không rơi xuống trên đất chúng.

And it shall be that whoso will not go up, Of the families of the earth, to Jerusalem, To worship the King, Jehovah of hosts, Upon them shall be no rain.

18 Nếu người Ai Cập không lên thờ Vua, thì Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ phạt, đất họ sẽ không có mưa, và họ sẽ chịu tai họa như tai họa các dân tộc không lên dự lễ phải chịu.

And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, Then not for them shall there be water. The plague shall come upon them With which Jehovah shall smite the nations Which go not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

19 Đây là hình phạt Ai Cập và các dân tộc khác sẽ phải chịu nếu không lên dự Lễ Lều Tạm.

This shall be the punishment of Egypt, And the punishment of all the nations That come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

20 Ngày ấy, trên dây cương ngựa sẽ có khắc hàng chữ: THÁNH CHO CHÚA HẰNG HỮU. Nồi trong Đền Thờ sẽ thánh như bát trước bàn thờ.

In that day, upon the bells of the horses Shall be written, “Holy to Jehovah.” And the pots in the house of Jehovah Shall be as the bowls before the altar.

21 Tất cả nồi niêu trong Giê-ru-sa-lem và Giu-đa đều sẽ biệt ra thánh cho Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân; và như thế người ta sẽ dùng các nồi để nấu sinh tế dâng lên Ngài. Không ai còn thấy con buôn trong Đền Thờ của Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân.

And every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah Shall be holy to Jehovah of hosts; And all that sacrifice shall come, And shall take of them, and seethe therein. And there shall be no more a trader In the house of Jehovah of hosts, in that day.
