Khải Huyền 21
1 Tôi thấy trời mới và đất mới, vì trời và đất thứ nhất đã biến mất, biển cũng không còn nữa.
And I saw a new Heaven and a new earth; for the first Heaven and the first earth were gone, and the sea no longer exists.
2 Tôi thấy Giê-ru-sa-lem mới, là thành thánh từ Đức Chúa Trời trên trời xuống, sửa soạn như cô dâu trang điểm trong ngày thành hôn.
And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God and made ready like a bride attired to meet her husband.
3 Tôi nghe một tiếng lớn từ ngai nói: “Kìa, nhà của Đức Chúa Trời ở giữa loài người! Chúa sẽ sống với họ và họ sẽ làm dân Ngài. Chính Đức Chúa Trời sẽ ở giữa họ và làm Chân Thần của họ.
And I heard a loud voice, which came from the throne, say, "God's dwelling place is among men and He will dwell among them and they shall be His peoples. Yes, God Himself will be among them.
4 Ngài sẽ lau hết nước mắt cho họ. Sẽ không còn ai chết nữa, cũng chẳng còn tang chế, khóc than, đau khổ, vì mọi thứ ấy đã qua rồi”.
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death shall be no more; nor sorrow, nor wail of woe, nor pain; for the first things have passed away."
5 Đấng ngồi trên ngai tuyên bố: “Này Ta làm mới lại mọi vật. Hãy ghi chép vì các lời này đều chân thật, đáng tin.”
Then He who was seated on the throne said, "I am re-creating all things." And He added, "Write down these words, for they are trustworthy and true."
6 Chúa phán tôi: “Xong rồi! Ta là An-pha và Ô-mê-ga, là Đầu Tiên và Cuối Cùng. Ai khát sẽ được Ta cho uống miễn phí Nước Suối Hằng Sống.
He also said, "They have now been fulfilled. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To those who are thirsty I will give the privilege of drinking from the well of the Water of Life without payment.
7 Người chiến thắng sẽ được thừa hưởng những điều đó. Ta sẽ làm Đức Chúa Trời của họ, và họ sẽ làm con Ta.
All this shall be the heritage of him who overcomes, and I will be his God and he shall be one of My sons.
9 Một trong bảy thiên sứ cầm bảy bát đựng các tai họa cuối cùng, đến bảo tôi: “Lại đây, tôi sẽ cho ông thấy cô dâu, vợ của Chiên Con.”
Then there came one of the seven angels who were carrying the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues. "Come with me," he said, "and I will show you the Bride, the Lamb's wife."
10 Tôi được Thánh Linh cảm và thiên sứ đưa tôi đến một ngọn núi cao, chỉ cho tôi xem thành thánh Giê-ru-sa-lem, từ Đức Chúa Trời trên trời mà xuống.
So in the Spirit he carried me to the top of a vast, lofty mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God,
11 Thành phản chiếu vinh quang Đức Chúa Trời, sáng chói như kim cương, như ngọc thạch anh, trong vắt như pha lê.
and bringing with it the glory of God. It shone with a radiance like that of a very precious stone--such as a jasper, bright and transparent.
12 Tường thành thật cao lớn, có mười hai cổng do mười hai thiên sứ canh gác. Trên các cổng có ghi tên mười hai đại tộc Ít-ra-ên.
It has a wall, massive and high, with twelve large gates, and in charge of the gates were twelve angels. And overhead, above the gates, names were inscribed which are those of the twelve tribes of the descendants of Israel.
13 Có ba cổng mỗi hướng—đông, tây, nam, bắc.
There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south, and three on the west.
14 Nền của tường thành là mười hai tảng đá móng, trên đó có ghi tên mười hai sứ đồ của Chiên Con.
The wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and engraved upon them were twelve names--the names of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.
15 Vị thiên sứ đang nói chuyện với tôi, cầm trên tay một cây thước bằng vàng để đo thành, cổng, và tường.
Now he who was speaking to me had a measuring-rod of gold, with which to measure the city and its gates and its wall.
16 Thiên sứ dùng thước đo thành: Thành hình lập phương mỗi chiều 2.200 nghìn mét.
The plan of the city is a square, the length being the same as the breadth; and he measured the city furlong by furlong, with his measuring rod--it is twelve hundred miles long, and the length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
17 Thiên sứ cũng đo tường: Tường dày 65 mét, (theo đơn vị đo lường của loài người mà thiên sứ đang dùng).
And he measured the wall of it--a wall of a hundred and forty-four cubits, according to human measure, which was also that of the angel.
18 Tường xây bằng ngọc thạch anh, còn thành bằng vàng ròng, trong như thủy tinh.
The solid fabric of the wall was jasper; and the city itself was made of gold, resembling transparent glass.
19 Nền của tường thành được trang trí bằng những loại bảo thạch: Nền thứ nhất là ngọc thạch anh, nền thứ hai là ngọc lam, nền thứ ba là mã não trắng xanh, nền thứ tư là ngọc lục bảo,
As for the foundation-stones of the city wall, which were beautified with various kinds of precious stones, the first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius,
20 nền thứ năm là bạch ngọc, nền thứ sáu là hồng mã não, nền thứ bảy là ngọc hoàng bích, nền thứ tám là ngọc thạch xanh lục, nền thứ chín là ngọc thu ba vàng, nền thứ mười là ngọc phỉ túy, nền thứ mười một là ngọc phong tín, nền thứ mười hai là ngọc thạch anh tím.
the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.
21 Mười hai cổng làm bằng mười hai hạt châu, mỗi cổng là một hạt châu nguyên khối. Đường phố trong thành bằng vàng ròng, như thủy tinh trong suốt.
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each of them consisting of a single pearl. And the main street of the city was made of pure gold, resembling transparent glass.
22 Tôi không thấy Đền Thờ nào trong thành, vì Chúa là Đức Chúa Trời, Đấng Toàn Năng và Chiên Con là Đền Thờ.
I saw no sanctuary in the city, for the Lord God, the Ruler of all, is its Sanctuary, and so is the Lamb.
23 Thành không cần mặt trời hay mặt trăng soi sáng, vì vinh quang của Đức Chúa Trời chiếu khắp thành, và Chiên Con là đèn của thành.
Nor has the city any need of the sun or of the moon, to give it light; for the glory of God has shone upon it and its lamp is the Lamb.
24 Ánh sáng ấy soi sáng cho các dân tộc, các vua trên đất sẽ đem vinh quang mình vào đó.
The nations will live their lives by its light; and the kings of the earth are to bring their glory into it.
25 Các cổng thành mở suốt ngày, không bao giờ đóng, vì tại đó không có ban đêm.
And in the daytime (for there will be no night there) the gates will never be closed;
26 Các dân tộc sẽ đem vinh quang và vinh dự vào thành.
and the glory and honor of the nations shall be brought into it.
27 Những điều ô uế và những người xấu xa, giả dối không được vào đó, chỉ những người được ghi tên trong Sách Sự Sống của Chiên Con mới được vào thành.
And no unclean thing shall ever enter it, nor any one who is guilty of base conduct or tells lies, but only they whose names stand recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life.
