Khải Huyền 16
1 Tôi nghe một tiếng lớn từ trong Đền Thờ nói với bảy thiên sứ: “Hãy đi, đổ bảy bát hình phạt của Đức Chúa Trời xuống đất!”
And I heard a great voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, Go and pour out the seven bowls of the fury of God upon the earth.
2 Thiên sứ thứ nhất đổ bát mình xuống đất, những người mang dấu hiệu con thú và thờ lạy tượng nó liền bị nổi ung nhọt độc địa ghê tởm.
And the first went and poured out his bowl on the earth; and there came an evil and grievous sore upon the men that had the mark of the beast, and those who worshipped its image.
3 Thiên sứ thứ hai đổ bát mình xuống biển, nước biển biến thành huyết như máu người chết, mọi sinh vật trong biển đều chết.
And the second poured out his bowl on the sea; and it became blood, as of a dead man; and every living soul died in the sea.
4 Thiên sứ thứ ba đổ bát mình xuống sông ngòi, suối nước, tất cả đều biến thành máu.
And the third poured out his bowl on the rivers, and [on] the fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5 Tôi nghe thiên sứ có quyền trên nước nói: “Lạy Đấng hiện có, đã có, là Đấng Thánh! Ngài đã xét xử thật công minh.
And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Thou art righteous, who art and wast, the holy one, that thou hast judged so;
6 Họ đã làm đổ máu các thánh đồ và các tiên tri, nên Ngài cho họ uống máu. Thật đáng lắm!”
for they have poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; they are worthy.
7 Tôi nghe tiếng từ bàn thờ nói: “Phải, lạy Chúa là Đức Chúa Trời, Đấng Toàn Năng, Chúa xét xử thật công minh, chân chính.”
And I heard the altar saying, Yea, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous [are] thy judgments.
8 Thiên sứ thứ tư đổ bát mình xuống mặt trời; mặt trời được phép nung đốt loài người.
And the fourth poured out his bowl on the sun; and it was given to it to burn men with fire.
9 Bị sức nóng mãnh liệt nung đốt, người ta xúc phạm đến Danh Đức Chúa Trời là Đấng có quyền trên các tai hoạ này. Họ không chịu ăn năn và tôn vinh Ngài.
And the men were burnt with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, who had authority over these plagues, and did not repent to give him glory.
10 Thiên sứ thứ năm đổ bát mình xuống ngai con thú, vương quốc của nó bỗng tối tăm, người ta cắn lưỡi vì đau đớn.
And the fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast; and its kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues with distress,
11 Họ nói xúc phạm đến Đức Chúa Trời trên trời vì đau đớn và ung nhọt, chứ không chịu ăn năn.
and blasphemed the God of the heaven for their distresses and their sores, and did not repent of their works.
12 Thiên sứ thứ sáu đổ bát mình xuống sông lớn gọi là Ơ-phơ-rát, sông liền cạn khô, dọn đường cho các vua từ phương Đông đi đến.
And the sixth poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates; and its water was dried up, that the way of the kings from the rising of the sun might be prepared.
13 Tôi thấy có ba tà linh giống như ếch nhái ra từ miệng con rồng, miệng con thú, và miệng tiên tri giả.
And I saw out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as frogs;
14 Đó là thần của quỷ, chuyên làm phép lạ, đi xúi giục các vua trên thế giới liên minh chiến tranh chống với Đức Chúa Trời trong ngày trọng đại của Đấng Toàn Năng.
for they are [the] spirits of demons, doing signs; which go out to the kings of the whole habitable world to gather them together to the war of [that] great day of God the Almighty.
15 “Này, Ta đến như kẻ trộm! Phước cho người nào tỉnh thức và giữ gìn áo xống mình, để không phải trần trụi, xấu hổ lúc ra đi.”
(Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watches and keeps his garments, that he may not walk naked, and that they [may not] see his shame.)
16 Họ tập trung quân đội các vua tại một chỗ mà tiếng Hê-bơ-rơ gọi là Ha-ma-ghê-đôn.
And he gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armagedon.
17 Thiên sứ thứ bảy đổ bát mình trong không khí. Một tiếng lớn vang ra từ ngai trong Đền Thờ: “Xong rồi!”
And the seventh poured out his bowl on the air; and there came out a great voice from the temple of the heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18 Liền có chớp nhoáng, sấm sét vang rền và động đất dữ dội. Trong lịch sử loài người, chưa hề có trận động đất nào dữ dội, lớn lao đến thế.
And there were lightnings, and voices, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, such an earthquake, so great.
19 Thành Ba-by-lôn vỡ ra làm ba và các thành khắp thế giới bị sụp đổ. Đức Chúa Trời đã nhớ lại Ba-by-lôn lớn và cho nó uống chén rượu hình phạt của Ngài.
And the great city was [divided] into three parts; and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon was remembered before God to give her the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath.
20 Mọi hải đảo đều biến mất, núi non cũng chẳng còn thấy nữa.
And every island fled, and mountains were not found;
21 Lại có mưa đá rất lớn, mỗi hạt nặng độ 34 ký từ trời đổ xuống trên loài người. Người ta xúc phạm đến Đức Chúa Trời vì họa mưa đá khủng khiếp.
and a great hail, as of a talent weight, comes down out of the heaven upon men; and men blasphemed God because of the plague of hail, for the plague of it is exceeding great.
